This restaurant was so-so. When we first walked in, it wasn't very inviting. There was a sign on the front door that said something about they refuse to accept large groups of baseball teams...As opposed to a sign that says Come on in like a typical restaurant ... No drink menu, so you better know what you want before you go in. I got a cheeseburger and it was delicious. However my husband got lemon pepper wings and they were extremely salty, he couldn't even finish them. This bar and grille seems like a place for locals and less a place for visitors.

We stopped going to Grumpy's. They increased prices sharply & dropped quantities. Poor effort in kitchen don't make the quality they used to. Complaints are handled reluctantly & poorly. Be warned

The place is clean , the food is always excellent, the service is fast and friendly and the Owner is FANTASTIC. The crab soup was hot and tasty but it went downhill from there. The rest of our meal came out cold and the quality was not worth the cost of the meal. My husband ordered a drink that he returned because it was all mixer no Patron as he had ordered. The bartender confronted my husband and explained it was because he ordered a "tall" drink (which he did not) and that he wouldn't taste the alcohol in a tall drink. Huh? She did admit it was not made with Patron. Our friend wrote a review about how my husband was treated for returning his drink and how he was blamed for the problem rather than being offered an apology. The owner manager responded by telling him he needed the attitude adjustment and basically, to not come back. Oh, no worries there. What poor customer service!

Manager needs an attitude readjustment.Soups were good, sandwiches were not bad but not hot.Ordered drinks, my beer was almost flat and my friends Margarita had no alcohol. He sent it back. The manager came over and said, "Sir, when you order a large glass you won't taste the alcohol." He said why does that make a difference. She again asserted that if he ordered a large glass he would not taste the alcohol.Here's the real problem. We had never heard of having to specify a large glass. He simply ordered a Margarita with Patron. Nothing more, nothing less. Does that mean they are charging extra for a large drink but stiffing the customer on the alcohol? I believe the Liquor Board would find that interesting.The managers attitude was the customer had automatically did something wrong, and she was there to point that out. What arrogance! And she didn't see the problem with insulting a customer and not appologizing. Sad!It is said morale is faith in the [person] at the top. Her attitude clearly showed in that all food was delayed, patrons were angry with their meals, and a couple behind us got up and left after waiting 20 minutes.The restaurant biz is brutal, and there are many other places to chose from. Next time we will, because we won't go back.

I had a nice stay at La Quinta across the street and decided to try their dinner. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. It was delicious. The staff was friendly, and it seemed like a fun place to hang out if I had stayed longer.
