The staff at breakfast make this a good place. The new menu is good. You just need to keep in mind this is a hotel so prices are what they are. If you have Marriott status you can’t beat the price. Special shout out to Rony Combs.
The menu is somewhat limited and Covid precautions in kitchen and bar understandably slows things up. But you should be patient. And though menu is somewhat limited, you can get pasta, burgers, excellent steak, vegetables and chicken. I'm getting hungry just thinking of the place. The bar is a real hoot. Bartenders entertain one another with very funny patter and you are entertained in the process. Bar crowd is congenial and lively as well.
I gave this a high rating because the food is amazing, and I would return. I didn't give it the best rating because the restaurant was understaffed, and our service was extraordinarily slow -- both taking our orders and bringing them out. Then, I had to send mine back to the kitchen because it wasn't hot. The restaurant was quite cold, too. People were going back to their rooms for sweaters.
