I was a mid attending USNA from 1998-2002 when I would occasionally head downtown to eat and grab a drink on the weekends. During my time there Riordan's occupied the footprint of what now is dubbed 1771 G&T. Much has changed about the city dock area but the general landscape is the same. No idea why this place is so empty on a Sunday evening! Food was delicious (specifically the short rib grilled cheese sandwich), decent beer menu, a ton of different types of gin (if that's your thing). Service was fast, bartender was nice.

I had an ok experience here. My cocktail was good. For food, I tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were ok, but I've had better sandwiches and burgers at bars and pubs before. If you're drinking and you're hungry I think this bar would suffice. The vibe was casual and the service was good.
