Went to Lasang Pinoy last night for dinner with friends in the area. Before we went, I read about the owners and where they were from in the Philippines. Most people who have tasted Filipino food in the past have had it from the particular island the person who cooked it and think that is how Filipino food is supposed to taste. Wonderful friendly service and a good atmosphere to bring friends or family. The food was okay but it seemed a bit overpriced. One meal for 2 adults and 2 small kids was already $97. When appetizers averaged above $15 which is what I am used to paying for a main entree it makes me not want to come as often despite the decent cooking.

Happy hour is an exceptional value. Food was epic and made with super high quality ingredients. Cocktails were well crafted. Staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Please support this very special and unique restaurant!
