I can’t believe this place has a 3.8 rating. It’s great! And deserves 5++ Andre, the bartender, is one of the best we’ve encountered in a long time—personable, professional, and skilled. Give this guy a raise! He made me the most perfect dark espresso martini. I don’t like Bailey’s, and it was his first time making it without Bailey’s, but it was perfect! If you have small kids who love to watch construction, now is the time to visit Latitude 38. Yes, the construction did impact the ambiance, but our kids (aged 2 and 4) have never loved a restaurant experience more. The food was great, the service was amazing and we were seated immediately at 12:30 on a Friday.
Food was good but before I made the reservation, I was unaware of the construction outside of the restaurant. The restaurant was not busy or crowded at all, however, it took a while before we received our meals.

Based on the reviews, Latitude 38° Waterfront Dining offers fresh seafood and a beautiful view of the harbor. The crab cake is one of the best, and the raw oysters and cream of crab soup are also enjoyed. The fish and chips can be excellent, though sometimes the fish is a little soggy and lacks flavor. The salmon and vegetables can be bland. The calamari from the Happy Hour menu is quite good. The food is fantastic and delicious, but the service receives mixed feedback. Some guests found the service to be friendly, fun, and professional, with staff going above and beyond for special occasions. However, other reviews describe the service as awful, unacceptably slow, and abandoned after plates were cleared. Drinks can also be unacceptably slow. There are reports of staff not being aware of advertised Happy Hour pricing. The atmosphere is affected by construction along Ego Alley, but the view is not the fault of the restaurant. It is a hidden gem with a lot of potential, but some guests will not return due to the service issues.
