Includes choice of dos (two) tamales, wrapped in a corn husk and steamed. Served with sour cream pork: corn masa with spices, wrapped around seasoned pork then steamed in corn husk wrapping. Served with Texas-style chili.
Chicken Francisca's Tamales
Includes choice of dos (two) tamales, wrapped in a corn husk and steamed. Chicken: white corn masa with a strip of mild chile, potato, and chicken wrapped in a banana leaf. Served with green tomatillo sauce.
Chile Rellenos
Three anaheim chilies hand-stuffed with Monterey Jack cheese then battered and deep-fried. Topped with tomatillo sauce.

I regret to inform you that after 29 years of serving delicious food and strong beverages, no cap, Mexican Cafe will be closing their doors permanently towards the end of September 2021. Many fantastic memories will be cemented in my brain. Make sure you stop by ASAP, tip well, drink up, and savor the memories. God bless.

Our office has visited Mexican Cafe for several years now. We absolutely love their Avocado Salad with grilled chicken or shrimp. Lots of nutrition packed in there and the dressing is the "icing on the cake". Ask for extra! Also, love the option to eat outdoors.

I ordered the tamales and the mini chimichangas(to go). They were absolutely fantastic! Loved trying all the different kinds of chimichangas, the pork and beef were my favorite! The tamales come wrapped in corn husks which was cool and authentic. I liked that they put the sauce on the side so the tamales didn’t get too soggy underneath. I would definitely give this place another try!
