I have been to picante a few times, and the service and food has always been excellent. Last night, I went with a few friends of mine for a later dinner around 8:30/9 or so, and it was the best visit so far. Greeted by each one of the employees in passing and we had the amazing pleasure of David being the bartender. As soon as we entered, David ran up to the hostess stand and greeted with such amazing hospitality. Throughout our visit, he interacted with us, laughed with us , and made sure everything was perfect up until the moment we left. Yes, the place was empty, but we have all been to those places where employee do not interact with customers, even on slow nights. David truly went above and beyond. Thank you so much, David! Picante, thank you so much for hiring an amazing individual that delivers that 200% customer service!

Great place to go try some good food. We had the Birria Tacos and the Molcajete, which was exploding with a great flavored red sauce. The service was so nice - you just need to take the time to talk to the staff and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at having some nice conversation. And the Tres Leches cake they brought out was a nice touch. I will definitely go back when I return to Annapolis.

The best chili relleno I have had in years! I saved half so I could savor it later at home relaxing by the fire. The Mexican corn soup perfect after two hours outside in the cold. I will definitely make the trip down again.

Picante was phenomenal. There are plenty of places you can go for Mexican food but I would say this is the place in Anne Arundel County. The meals were large, and delicious. Well priced, and get there for the $7 margs. Recommend to anyone on west street near the circle in downtown Annapolis. Recommend to anyone in Anne Arundel County.

Fully enjoyed my dining experience at Picante. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. Picante bowl was fresh and good mix of flavors; I added chicken tinga. The fajitas were the best I've ever had. Typical peppers and onions, but also roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, and zucchini. The chicken was cut into bite-sized pieces, which allowed each piece to absorb a lot of flavor. Tortilla chips were fresh and served with a flavorful salsa. We took food home and the gracious server gave us some extra chips and salsa to take with us. Just go, you will not be disappointed.
