Wow! Our meal at Sea Salt was amazing and we'll be back. Our waitress (I think her name was Chelsea) made the experience memorable as well.

Came here for dinner with the girls and was blown away. We went in with the mission of ordering a bunch of things and being able to share them. The absolute showstopper was the scallops, if you get one thing at this place, you need to get the scallops, they were seasoned amazing and cooked to perfection. The cocktails were fun and refreshing. The oysters were fresh and the toppings for them were out of this world. It *can* be a little loud in there, but who cares? The atmosphere is fun, cool, and eclectic, it's not a library. Incredible job on this one guys and looking forward to making this a staple visit for me every time i come back to town!

Great dining experience at sea salt! It was our first time there and our server Josh was excellent! The highlight of the night was the pork chop entree. Our server said it was a limited time menu option and we’re so glad he convinced us to order it!

Honestly I never give reviews for anything, but this whole experience made me have to share. My wife and I came in with our daughter who is 4 months old. We ordered drinks and a few appetizers. The oysters came and the first one I ate was the most rancid food I have ever eaten in my life. Not more than a second after putting the oyster in my mount I sprinted to the bathroom. I spent probably 5-10 min throwing up in the bathroom. I told one of the servers I threw up and that they should clean the restroom after I was done and told them not to make a big deal about it. They did not do so and a few customers saw it. Maybe 10 min after the “owner” comes to our table. He explains that people have been ordering the oysters all night. The only thing he offered me was a water and hardly even apologized. I didn’t ask for anything and I really just thought if I was in his position I would have done everything I could to make sure we were ok. He said a few jokes got me a water about 5 min later and then gave us our check. Our server was the most unaware out of everyone. In the end and for the record I didn’t ask for a discount because I would never do so; he took off $12 dollars of oysters from our bill and still charged us for every single thing that we didn’t eat or drink due to the situation. The bill was around $100 and cost isn’t an issue it’s honestly just the principle, we paid the bill with no complaints and left. My synopsis here is out of the countless “higher end” restaurants and honestly even mid level ones around the entire world we have been to, this one acted so poorly I had to leave my first review. If nothing else I hope the owner reads this and learns how to run a business in the hospitality industry.

Dinner felt surprisingly rushed — we were in and out in just 45 minutes although there were plenty of empty tables. All the courses arrived at once, so by the time we finished the salad and oysters, the main dish was cold. The salmon lacked flavor, so did the salad, the Octopus was over cooked which was disappointing. Not the kind of dining experience you'd expect from a place as relaxed and charming as Annapolis.

Great food and service. Some of the best seafood in Annapolis! Can't wait to go back.

I made reservations for outdoor seating for a party of 1. The menu options were great. I tried some really great and fresh oysters (well fleet are my faves). The octopus was also lovely. My halibut was so-so, but the peach crisp for dessert helped end the meal strong. The waiter and manager were really attentive. They kept the drinks topped off and made sure I had what I needed.

This restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that combines exquisite flavors with outstanding service—an ideal setting for celebrating special occasions. My recent visit for a birthday celebration was nothing short of spectacular.

Starting with the food, we were treated to a spicy tuna tartare that was a true standout. The dish was beautifully balanced, boasting a slight kick that danced playfully on the palate, complemented by a hint of sweetness that made each bite a joy. It was a refreshing start that set a high bar for the rest of our meal.

Next, the salty bread served with an excellent compound butter was a comforting addition to our dining experience. The butter, rich and flavorful, elevated the bread from a simple side to a must-have accompaniment that we found ourselves reaching for repeatedly.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the grilled ribeye. Cooked to perfection, it was juicy and tender, showcasing the kitchen’s skill. Paired with amazing rosemary potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus, the dish was a symphony of flavors. The delightful chimichurri added a vibrant touch, tying all the elements together beautifully. Each component of the meal was thoughtfully crafted, making it clear that the chefs are passionate about their craft.

To complement our meal, the restaurant offered a wonderful cocktail selection. Each drink was thoughtfully designed, providing a delightful range of flavors that perfectly paired with our dishes. It was a treat to explore the creative concoctions on the menu.

However, what truly made our evening unforgettable was the exceptional service we received from Georgia, our server. From the moment we were seated, she was nothing short of amazing. Polite, friendly, and incredibly professional, Georgia’s menu recommendations were spot-on and enhanced our dining experience. Her attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm contributed significantly to the celebratory atmosphere, making us feel valued and cared for throughout the evening.

In conclusion, this restaurant not only delivers on food but excels in creating a warm and inviting environment through its stellar service. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in a fantastic meal, I highly recommend paying a visit. With dishes that tantalize the taste buds and service that makes you feel like royalty, it’s a dining experience that is sure to linger in your memory long after the last bite.

We just returned from a weekend in Maryland and made a dinner reservation at a new spot we’d been curious about: Seasalt Annapolis. From the moment we walked in, we loved the vibe. The space had a relaxed, modern feel that immediately felt welcoming.

Our server, Janel, was a total gem. I explained my dietary restrictions due to diverticulitis, and she didn’t skip a beat, offering thoughtful, helpful recommendations. We started with their house-made salty bread and butter, and let me tell you, we could’ve happily eaten just that. It was that good.

For dinner, we both ordered the scallops. My husband’s came just as listed, and mine included a slight modification thanks to Janel’s suggestion. Every bite was full of flavor. It was fresh, satisfying and exactly what we were craving.

For dessert, I had the house-made sorbet, which was so refreshing, and Raun had the strawberry shortcake that he hasn’t stopped raving about since.

The service truly made the night. Janel was attentive, kind, and clearly knew the menu well. One of the owners, Collin, stopped by our table and we had a great conversation with him about the restaurant and our meal. Later, we moved to the bar to soak in more of the atmosphere. Raun had the Maryland Manhattan that he really enjoyed. Our bar server, Bertie, kept the good energy going with great service and even better humor. Raun teased him all evening for resembling Jason Kelce, and Bertie took it like a champ.

We also had the chance to meet John, the other owner, who shared more about the vision behind Seasalt. You can feel the heart behind this place. It’s thoughtful, fresh, and offers something special that feels different from anywhere else in Annapolis.

This restaurant has officially become a new favorite. We’re already talking about when we can go back.

We highly recommend this new spot in Annapolis. It will definitely become a favorite of ours. It’s has an upscale rustic decor with great attention to detail. Fantastic service! We never ran out of water and she changed our silverware out between courses. Absolutely beautiful presentation and flavor across the board

Craft cocktails have cute Maryland-based names. Both the ones we tried were mixed well. You can taste the ginger in the homemade ginger beer in the Hogan & Lennon. We also got espresso martini’s with desert. They should put them on the menu because they are legit!

Started with the ceviche of the day, which was snapper. Very fresh and clean tasting with good texture. Citrus and peppers are a subtle background flavor.

Sea Scallops - delicious, scallops super tender and buttery; potato hash was properly cooked, and apple added a subtle sweetness. Only criticism is that it could have been a little hotter temperature wise

Alfonsino - fish was perfectly cooked. Crispy skin with juicy and moist filets. Zucchini was fully cooked but wasn’t mushy; it still had a nice crunch to it.

Peach crisp- good ratio of ingredients, nice and hot, very flavorful; could taste the cinnamon

Strawberry shortcake - blast of nostalgia; the shortcake was the right amount of airy, sponginess vs. dense texture; strawberries were so flavorful, I wish I could produce shop where they do. The lemon curd was a great, slightly tart pairing to balance to the sweet.

One thing to note is that potions sizes are on the smaller end.

The best raw oysters; service, setting and salt bread. A real treat to eat, to seat. Tough to beat! The decor is fresh and clean. Not expecting to love white bread, but it was hot, fresh and crusty with salt just right. Seafood is handled properly to temp to season to serve. When food is honored, it sings to the consumer. I don’t know about their desserts, as, even tho this was a birthday celebration for my friend, we did not need a sweet. Perhaps next time…Try them - they’re uncommonly delicious.

Best meal I have ever had at an Annapolis restaurant.
Everything prepared perfectly and seasoning perfect.
Three of us shared two appetizers - the fried oysters and the roasted oysters.
The beet salad was fresh and just right.
We ordered the Hokkaido sea scallops, Parisienne gnocchi, and the ribeye — all were excellent.
Our waiter, Joshua, was the best!!! He was very attentive, courteous, friendly, and knowledgable.
