At 1st we thought the menu was rather limited, but everything was very good. I had the chopped salad with fish(rockfish on that day), another had the mahi mahi, and another halibut. We shared a flourless chocolate cake.

Very fine food on the water with a great view of the Naval Academy. Fresh and well-prepared seafood. Waitstaff are friendly but not at a 5 star level. Overall very worth a visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair ramp.

We went to Severn inn for the first time a few weeks ago. This place is spectacular. Best water views in Anne Arundel county. The food is amazing. Lauren our server was the sweetest and provided excellent service. We have no reason to go anywhere else for meals anymore. Severn inn is by far the best restaurant in the area.

I had the salad and the cheese hamburger with fries. They also have a kids menu as well we had a big group to celebrate my dad's birthday early. The entrance is hard to find if you're not familiar with the area, my mom and I had to turn around and find it.

Slow service and rude staff. Had a group of 8 for my grandfather's 79th birthday lunch. Made reservations well in advance and called to confirm twice while mentioning and confirming that we were bringing a cake. We were told that it was no problem. While we are arriving and being sat at our table the hostess begins to argue about the cake with us in front of my grandfather. This unprofessional behavior is not acceptable. Ruining the start of his birthday meal after we had done everything the right way.Service was awful. Drinks sat empty for over 30 minutes at a time. They switched waiters on us in the middle of our service. Food was not correct and everyone was done eating by the time the correct items came out. I have never seen a slower waiter in my life. He only carried one thing at a time and took multiple trips for bringing two drinks. For having a bill that was 500.00, this was not acceptable. They also forced us to tip 22% to someone that did not deserve that. By no means would we have not tipped, but 22% is for above and beyond, not mediocre.I will think twice before coming here or before choosing this as a venue for company events, family events, or personal enjoyment. There are plenty of other good views in the area.

Atmosphere and service were exceptional. Food is average. I had the Rockfish which is something I order routinely in DTA. The last few times at Severn Inn, it has been EXTREMELY salty which I have not experienced when ordering at other establishments in DTA. My companion ordered a burrito which he stated was really good, but the salsa that came with it was awful to the point we just ate the chips plain. The Brussels sprout appetizer was amazing and the best part of the meal.

The Severn Inn offers a picturesque dining experience nestled along the shores of the Severn River, boasting stunning views that complement its delectable cuisine. With an ambiance that effortlessly blends elegance and comfort, it's a go-to spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The menu showcases a diverse selection of dishes, from classic seafood favorites to innovative culinary creations. Each dish is expertly prepared, utilizing fresh, high-quality ingredients that tantalize the taste buds. Standout options include the succulent crab cakes, perfectly seared scallops, and the mouthwatering filet mignon.Despite the culinary excellence, the only caveat lies in the pricing of the drinks, specifically the wine. While the cocktails are expertly crafted and boast premium ingredients, the cost may deter some patrons from fully indulging in the beverage offerings.Service at the Severn Inn is impeccable, with attentive staff members who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to accommodate any requests. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, making it ideal for intimate dinners or celebratory gatherings. Moreover, the outdoor seating area provides a serene setting for al fresco dining, especially during the warmer months when guests can enjoy the gentle breeze off the river. In summary, the Severn Inn earns a solid four-star rating for its exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and breathtaking waterfront views. While the drinks may be a bit overpriced, the overall dining experience is certainly worth the investment.

Really nice place. Great views. In the summer the deck must be great. Upscale restaurant, a little more expensive, but also a little fancier. Seafood is great, the cream of crab soup is exceptional. Would definitely recommend. Take your mid there for a nice dinner.
