Food was very good but the portions were huge. Definitely above average for Annapolis. This is all first impressions and we will try it again.
This was my second time dining at The Lodge, and I was not disappointed either time. The menu is excellent--lots of variety--and the food is delicious. The lamb was SO tender--falling off the bone, and the pasta is house-made. The service was courteous, friendly, and attentive, and helped make the evening enjoyable. Parking is easy too. I will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful experience, the food was good with exceptional choices, the pastries could have had some better choices, i.e. croissants. Overall, the menu was very appetizing.
We went to the jazz brunch and really enjoyed it. Food was very good and there were a lot of choices.
Great food and drinks, amazing service and wonderful atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be visiting again.
I had a wonderful dinner at The Lodge Annapolis for my birthday this week. I love everything from the staff, food and atmosphere. I will be definitely returning.
I wanted to love this place but everything was a disaster from start to finish. My husband and I were meeting our friends for dinner and decided to check this place out. My husband and I showed up after our friends did. They had already ordered drinks, which was fine but when the waiter came back, I didn't even offer my husband or I anything to drink. He seemed really overwhelmed, which is fine. It was a busy Saturday evening, which was understandable. My husband and my friend decided to try the special which was a ribeye with cranberry chutney, caramelized mushrooms, and grits. Both their steaks were served rare, and they both ordered them medium. The grits tasted like they came out of a box and warmed up in the microwave. I ordered the lamp shank and I wish I didn't because it came out 3/4 of it being fat. My friend's husband ordered the Chesapeake pasta and he probably had the best dinner. I expected so much more out of this place considering it is presented as a fine dining restaurant. I will say the cinnamon bread pudding was phenomenal and the best part of the experience. Unfortunately I can't say we would come back. The service and food is lacking big time.
Celebrated my 50th, wait staff to Manager who presented a Birthday card.. will be back. We came from Virginia never been here.. I'm MD born and would recommend for any occasion. This place is on point!
Service was incredibly slow and was blamed on the bar being in the weeds. (Doesn't explain why we had to go find the waitress to get water service) Food was ok, but nothing special for the price. The bar area is lovely, but once again the prices are way too high for the service and product you receive
My dinner was going great until I almost swallowed a bristle that was hidden in my food. The waiter then tried to tell me “we don't accept tip online” as if I'm about to give a tip for an almost catastrophic result. I will not be returning ever again!

Our service was just OK. The table was never really cleared. We did not get everything that we ordered and some of the things that we did order were mediocre.
Great waitress, Gabby. Knew her stuff, checked on us many times. I got the grilled ckn salad. Ckn was tough and tasted like a ckn breast that had been reheated. Cheddar biscuits were good.
Made a reservation, was seated right away; the server was very attentive. My husband had the halibut special, and I had the Chesapeake pasta. Both very good!
This was a great early birthday dinner. Our server was Billy. He was wonderful, very informative and helpful. I will definitely be back to The Lodge.
I had lunch here with friends on a Saturday. The food was average, however the service was less than acceptable. The server was slow and would disappear for long periods of time. The restaurant maybe had 8 tables that were occupied and there were at least 3 people serving so there was no excuse for the poor service. Not sure that I would go back again.
