Came here with a party of 7 and had some of the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Where do I start ? Paid for 2 of the largest sized queso in the menu and ended up getting 2 large bowls with maybe 4 tablespoons each in them not even a 1/4 bowl full. Next is we asked for silverware and was told that they had a shortage as 7 people are getting food delivered to us and we basically had to figure it out. Lastly would be a hair was found in one person's food and everyone at the table just lost all appetite. I would expect 100x more for a 500+ dollar tab

Update: we finally called and spoke to the manager after the same issues and he was very understanding and accepting of the mishap. We ordered again the next day and he included an extra guac and our order is correct nothing is missing

We love uncle Julios but we do doordash and often have many items missing. This is our third order I hate to leave any reviews that aren't praising. But we ordered the nachos family meal and it's come missing the queso and salsa not pico but salsa 2 times. I've paid for side of tortillas and Mexican butter and not included. It's disappointing bc we pay over 120 dollars worth in food I just would like if they could care more about the take out orders too. So I have two bags of chip and no queso or salsa. Little frustrated tonight bc we haven't been ordering out as much so just want what we ordered.

I ordered delivery on 3/8/2025. Once I received the food, we were missing the crab & shrimp enchiladas entree but instead received a double order of chips while still paying for the missing entree. I called the restaurant on 3/11/2025 to tell them what happened and the day host ( didn’t catch his name) was very nice and sympathetic towards the situation. He advised me that the manager would refund me. After I still had not received a refund my 3/19/2025, I call the restaurant again and spoke with the same host. He again apologized and said he would give my info to the manager again. All we received is the shrimp fajitas, steak quesadilla app, 2 orders of chips and salsa. Today is 3/28/25 and I still have no refund.

Been to plenty of Uncle Julio's locations, and this one is at the bottom. Instead of being greeted, we were ignored when we walked in. Once we got seated, service was ok.. but infrequently checked on. Prices seem to have skyrocketed, which will definitely be a factor if you're looking for a modestly priced meal. There are better options, unfortunately not many others are Tex Mex... Ultimately, it was a let down. The Cheese Cake Factory is across the parking lot, so go there instead.

This may be our new spot when coming to Westfield Mall. The only downside is the lack of parking. The entire family enjoyed the meal.

I’m not one to write reviews so if you are reading this trust it is an honest review from an actual customer who knows good food service and atmosphere.

Today was my first time dining at Uncle Julio’s and it truly deserved the 5 star rating I gave. First of all I could tell by the packed parking lot and the spaces filling up as soon as the next car exited that the place was doing something right. As soon as my wife and the rest of my family entered the restaurant we were pleased with the ambiance and decor inside. I am one who loves rustic decor blended with light modern finishes which was extremely pleasant to see. The place was buzzing with life and jovial conversations, while the sound of cultural Hispanic music filled the entire place! Finally, an honest to good Mexican restaurant! Btw, I have to mention that I am not Mexican but I truly do love the food!

Now to the service and food. We were pleasantly greeted by a young lady whose name I can vaguely remember and dare not attempt to spell because of sheer embarrassment but proud to admit that she was awesome! I ordered a non-alcoholic drink, raspberry lemonade, that was not on the menu but she found a way to make it happen and it was the best one I can remember having. The food came out on time, hot and delicious! We all ate until we had no more room in our stomachs and ended up taking To Go containers and bags.

The price of the food was extremely reasonable. There were a total of 6 in our party, including our granddaughter, and our meal total came to well under $175.

I have a very busy schedule and do not have a lot of time for dining but I must say that when I have the time available I will be making another stop at Uncle Julio’s.

Well done to the entire staff!

I’ve always loved the food and drinks here and visit once a week, but the past few months have been a complete nightmare. We like to sit at the bar, but recently, we've had this bartender who I think is named "Jeff." Honestly, it's been a disaster—he messes up everything, from drinks to food, and frequently gets our orders wrong. Not only does he get our food wrong, but when we send it back (which we hate to do, but it’s happened so often due to his mistakes), it comes out wrong a second time. He’s slow, and a horrible bartender overall. On top of that, after we apologized for sending the food back, he charged us for the wrong items. He’s also blamed the kitchen for everything, but it’s clearly his fault. We’ve had to ask other staff members to make our drinks because he forgets. We're usually not picky, but the service has gotten so bad, we’ve gone from 5 stars to 1. We won’t be coming back until Jeff is gone. If we show up and see him, we’ll walk right out. I’m sure we’re not the only ones who feel this way. Do better, Uncle Julio’s.

By the way, Jeff is a skinny, middle-aged guy with a Mohawk-type haircut—not the guy with a bun in his hair. Please fix this uncle julio's

We came in a large group and we're glad they could accommodate. Food was ok but definitely overpriced for what you get. They forgot to bring parts of the meal . Chips and salsa were really good. The pepper that came with the meal was inedible for me - I usually really like poblano peppers but his one was so spicy I couldn't eat it nor could others in our party.
