My mother and I like having a spot in the summer in which we can catch up on a Sunday, seat and reminiscence of life while cracking and eating freshly steamed Crabs. We find. comfort coming each summer to Wild Country Seafood. We like ordering the Steamed crabs each time we come and also the shrimp combo which has lightly battered Shrimps that are fried, super crunchy and delicious; Hush puppies and fresh Coleslaw salad. What a great seafood experience. We did the same after walking around the maritime museum like many of the other posts. The softshell crab sandwich and po boy were exquisite! Not frozen, fresh, and not overpowered with over the top seasonings. We got an oyster basket to go...makes me proud to be a Marylander. That's all I've got.
When you're visiting Annapolis and hungry you can go to some overpriced joint with loud, obnoxious drunk people to get a crab cake or you can go to Wild Country Seafood and get a basket of crab cakes and everything else you might want that comes from the Bay that can be breaded and fried, all of it caught by the Mahoney family that cooks it and serves it you. You can pay a lot more at the local restaurants that buy the Mahoney's seafood and tolerate the assholes and...
