“Everything was pretty good. The food tasted good. And it could just be me but the chicken looked slightly weird. The breading was too perfect and crisp so makes me wonder where the product is breaded, on site or if they order from Sysco like that. Or wherever they order their food from. The burgers were really juicy, not super flavorful though. They do offer alternative buns and we got lettuce buns. They give you a good amount of lettuce which I was pleased by. Their drinks either come from a can or a soda fountain. Water is in water bottle form and when I was there it was $1.50 for water or kids drinks. The pickle fries were good. Thin and crispy.“

These guys are very nice and kind, I mean, I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile, they don't rush you to order, very patient! “This has become a local neighborhood favorite. Today I had the 20 piece wing combo. I absolutely love the hot wing sauce, it’s a nice touch and it isn’t too hot to where once consumed your mouth is flaming . The wings were cooked perfectly as well as the french fries. Hands down one of the best fish subs I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The bread was fresh and soft, and the toppings were just right—not too much, not too little. You can tell they take pride in their food. “The location is definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place but the food is really good and well priced. The lady that makes plates knows how to fill a plate so you will be eating for days. “Max's Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Fells Point sometimes service can be a little tough here because there's usually only one bartender however it is a fantastic spot and one of the oldest bars in Fells Point I highly recommend you at least visit once in order to check it out there's so many bars in Fells Point it's hard to hit them all but this is one of my favorites the food is fantastic beer selection is great however I did ask the bartender about cider and he immediately said we only have it in cans which was wrong they had two different ciders on draft so maybe just read the menu for yourself since it seems to bartender may not know exactly what's on draft. If you are a cider fan I highly recommend you check out the DownEast fall cider it is delicious and on draft I'll recommend it since the bartender didn't even seem to know!“

Great food but the server we initially got has to work on her attitude. She kept ignoring me and my partner when clearly we were here before other guest. Philly’s Best Pizza & Subs in Columbia, MD absolutely delivered! I had their Philly cheesesteak and it was SUPERB. The meat was tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and loaded generously on a fresh, soft roll. The cheese was melted just right and every bite was packed with flavor.

You can tell they take pride in their food. Fast service, great portions, and everything tasted fresh. If you’re in Columbia and craving a real deal cheesesteak, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

“Like most "hole-in-the-wall" places, the food here is awesome. They serve breakfast and lunch only, which means they open and close early. If you order your food correctly. You won't be disappointed at all!

They have a small parking lot (maybe 10-12 cars could fit), but people can drive, let alone park. The great thing is there's no dining in, so you're usually in and out. I would recommend calling ahead of time so you don't have to wait too long.

If you're looking for vegan/ vegetarian options, this is probably not it. I believe everything is cooked on the same grill. The only possible vegan item are the grits, which are amazing, but that's only if they don't use butter during the cooking process. You can get egg and chèese, veggie omelet, fries, and possibly another item or two, but understand the incredible possibility of cross-contamination for your vegan/vegetarian desires.

Otherwise, for those who enjoy good food, this is definitely a spot to visit if you're in the area and looking for great breakfast/lunch on the go!

“I, along with four other friends went to this restaurant on Saturday 8/23/25 and both the food and service were excellent. Everyone we came in contact with was very polite, friendly and professional. I personally loved their corn bread muffins and asked if I could buy some to take back home. The young lady was very generous and I truly appreciated all that she did. The next time I'm in Baltimore, I definitely will be going there. The other ladies with me all felt the same way.“
