Sometimes a little slow, not knowing where the server went but it's probably because they are serving both upstairs and downstairs. The wings are good. Not totally drenched in sauce but we'll covered. Many of their sauces are a variation on their buffalo sauce. The cheeseburger egg rolls were really tasty. I really liked the sauce with them, a variation of thousand Island sauce I think. I'm always a little surprised with how expensive 10 wings can be, but I think it's in align with most places. The wings are listed as MP on the menu. It was about $16 for one order of wings of 10. They have music playing and general vibes are of a bar/tavern. Overall, chill vibes. Good food. Certainly plan on returning.“
“Upon arrival, we followed the faux grass carpet into a clean and open dining area where the comforting voice of a sports announcer danced with smells of rich spices and tea. We ordered Mushakal (veg. stew) and baba ghanouj to split and were pleasantly surprised to have been offered each our own starter soup and salad, hot tea, and a hefty serving of hummus to match the ghanouj. Staff was warm and pleasant, and made us feel as welcome as bubbles in a bathhouse. Food came quickly and was very reasonably priced. Upon leaving, for a moment I was sure that I was walking on a red carpet as soft as it was well-earned, but as I rubbed my rose tinted eyes, it was clear that I stood upon that same strip of turf, humble as the pale moon. As if waking from a dream, well wishes from the cashier waltzed us back into the glaring chatter of a Waverly sidewalk.“

“Wrap-around bar and a handful of tables but as busy as it was we had no problem getting a table. Smartly organized having a small concert venue in the next room and one line to order drinks so people aren't shouting their orders over the shoulders of bar patrons. There's also a big TV so you can watch the band from inside the restaurant. Saw Powerman 5000 there and it was amazing! Was surprised to see so many seniors at the bar smashing food while a heavy metal concert was going on in the next room but the way it's set up it's not really loud in the dining/bar section.“

“Went to Baltimore for a concert and stayed a couple extra days. Finding this place wasn't as obvious as I'd like it to be but it wasn't too crazy. We went on a Friday morning but we were the only ones inside. A few online orders but it was definitely not what I was expecting. Me and my girl ordered the red velvet and the Oreo chicken and waffles with a water and the strawberry kiwi punch. We dined in but our food was served in to go styrofoam boxes and plastic utensils which was annoying when it came to cutting the chicken. BUT the chicken it was seasoned so well and it was so juicy!! The red velvet waffle didn't really taste like much. The Oreo was decent. Next time I would just get a plain waffle tbh. Strawberry kiwi drink was practically sugar. I ended up pour water in it to even out the sweetness. All together it ran us about $38. A bit over priced but I'd go back for the chicken alone.“

My dad and I both got the catfish bites (mine hot honey glazed, his honey Old Bay) with greens and mac and cheese. Catfish was crispy and well-seasoned. Greens were soft and full of flavor. Mac and cheese was baked with plenty of broiled cheese bits. Fruit Punch tasted homemade and absolutely scrumptious. “My food was really goood, The pizza was fresh & hot. Cheese fries was just enough cheese on it. Fries wasn't over cooked. They wasn't to mushy or crunchy. You do have to season your own fries if you don't ask for S/P on it..Which I don't mind that at all.. Cheesesteak was made just how I asked with everything on it & it was meaty too.. ! Besides them only giving me 2 flats out of 10 wings ?they was favorable & fried crispy. Lastly, Delivery was super fast given I had a big order. It came less then 20 mins. “Got takeout (hence the slightly squished sandwich) twice and the chicken was pretty solid both times. Not over nor undercooked, and it had a very nice amount of crispiness and spice. They had made it fresh right after I ordered. I was pleased with their portion size of fries, and they're packed with seasoning. The sauces are also quite good too and pair well with their sandwiches.My only complaints are that they aren't good with customized orders or sandwiches; they put pickles on my sandwich when I asked for none (both times I ordered). Maybe it was just the second time I visited, but the fries that came in the bag were quite soggy and not as fresh as the first. Overall, I would probably visit again and try another one of their signature sandwiches.“

And the fries ??? they're the amazing seasoned fries. I will say the platter is probably best eaten there since the steam can make the fries a little soggy, but it was good! The spice on the fish isn't hot, so if you're ok with light spiciness (enough for light flavor) then this is good for you without being too spicy.Lamb Gyro: 9/10 the portion was amazing, you definitely get what you pay for here ! We were missing the side of white sauce that we ordered, so that was a bit of a letdown, but nothing major. The lamb is cubed so it's a little different from the Greek style gyros, and the white sauce isn't the same as Greek tzatziki sauce so keep that in mind as well. This is a solid go to if you don't know what to order.Combination rice platter: 10/10 the chicken is moist and a little spicy, it adds a nice flavor to the dish. The lamb cubes are moist, and they put a good amount of meat on the bowl. The basmati rice is just perfect ?. I'd get this again. I called my order in and the man on the phone was very pleasant and told me my food would be ready ASAP! By the time I arrived they were bagging up my order. I got the roti with curry chicken with a strawberry drink. This was a HUGE serving of food! So big that it wouldn't close and had to be tied down with saran wrap. I opened the roti and the scents smacked me in the face. This was the best curry chicken I've ever had. After tasting the food and meeting the owner, I'll definitely be back.“

It's a small setting, was clean inside, service was decent. The biscuits were delightful. Soft, buttery, crumbly, moist. Fresh to order. We had some steak, some bbq lamb and a sweet chicken type. I tried every single one and could not stop the expressive ooooohhhss and yummies from coming out my mouth between bites. The steak was savory and slightly overdone for me but very good with the egg and biscuit. Bbq Lamb was the most interesting pairing well in a breakfast sandwich. I would have never thought to put lamb in breakfast. The chicken was good with some type of sweet sauce on it that was good on the biscuit alone.“

“I've eaten at T&J Waffles more times than I can count as their food truck frequently visits my job. For this visit, however; I patronized their physical location in Laurel. Glad to know the quality is the same in store as it is on the truck, both the food and the service! During this recent visit, I had the Buffalo Chicken and Waffles. When I tell you, this dish is filling! Three fat pieces of perfectly seasoned and sauced chicken, two fluffy waffles and the lettuce and tomatoes are an absolute must! Such an amazing dish and nice twist on the famous chicken and waffle dish. I have had other menus items which were equally as tasty, but the buffalo chicken is by far my favorite dish at T&J's! It was about 8 choices but one looked like it had been left out and melted a bit at the top. All the others looked appealing. The greasy smoothies looked very appetizing and were probably 16 or 20 oz which is a good amount. The service was good, they had one attendant that took our orders while the other cooked. But food was ready fast and we didn't have to wait too long to put in our order but a long line did form while we were inside. The combo's come with a can soda and it is extra for a juice bottle. The decor has nothing to it. This is a grab and go type of restaurant. I believe there was only one or two tables with chairs in a corner. There was a table with condiments to place on your food before you left. Ketchup, hot sauce, old bay seasoning, seasoned salt, black pepper. It's a good late night quick bite option. They also had some pies that are made locally for sale that looked good. This is a halal restaurant also.“
