“Connie's Chicken and Waffles.......what can I say other than OH MY GOD IT'S SOOOOOO GOOD!!!
Ordered the fish and waffles and did NOT disappoint!!! The fish was flaky and light and hot, served with hot sauce (on the side). The waffle was a crunch berry waffle and normally I am not a crunch berry fan, but decided to give it a shot and would have been SORELY upset if I had missed it! This waffle was light and airy and the crunch berries were soft and wonderful. The whole thing melted on your mouth.
The best part of the entire experience was the fact that Ms Connie was ACTUALLY THERE! She is the sweetest, most welcoming person to grace that location. Nothing against anyone else there, but her "Hello friends!" And big smile greeting all passers by gives you a sense of her true spirit. Kevontay and Tevin were phenomenal to interact with and made the eating experience great. PLEASE VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! You won't be disappointed!!“

The owner has an old school way of running his business and I respect it a lot !! The service is QUICK so don’t let the long line fool you , I’ve witnessed 15-20 people served in 10 minutes . “Took the family out for dinner food was very good. We had pizza, wings, chicken fingers ,fries , and cheese steak. I had spaghetti with everything very good. I highly recommend. Customer service was great

“Today was my first visit and the store was clean. The cashier greeted us and gave us time to figure out what we wanted. The decor was crabs, Raven flags, nets and shells. It was interesting and cute. The prices were great and the wait wasn’t super long.I think the total was $24 and some change for a club po boy with a side and a gyro and 6pc wings. The wings were seasoned great and the gyro was too. The gyro did start to fall apart after a while. But it did have a lot of meat which was great. The club po boy was great. I thought the bread could have been toasted or toasted longer. I did not like the slivers of meat versus slices of meat. I did have to pick out the diced tomatoes because I forgot club usually includes tomato as an ingredient. The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy. I would come back again to try something else.

“Went on a Sunday for the "brunch". There weren't many people in there but looks like they do a lot of carry out. There was a dj who was pretty good. The atmosphere is a little dark, and it looks like it could use a good cleaning. Despite this the food was AMAZING! I had fried fish with shrimp. I ate everything! I would go back for carry out.“

“I’ve had pizzas from all over the country but usually the best ones are found in local pizza joints. I had the chance of ordering from Mikie’s on Tuesday and it’s one of the best pizzas I have tasted in Bmore! Ordered a large pepperoni and bacon pizza. Got it under 18 minutes during lunch time and the pizza was excellent. The sauce was on point and so were the cheese and meats. Way better than large pizza chains.“

“I ordered Chicken Roti from Carribean American Gourmet & it was amazing!!!! I just returned the Maryland this year and have been craving some good West Indian food. I gone to a lot of West Indian restaurants here but recieved terrible food. I had to come all the way to Baltimore and go to Carribean American Gourmet just to receive delicious and properly cooked West Indian food. I highly recommend anyone looking for some good roti to please go to Carribean American Gourmet. The owners are really nice and provide fast service.“

I was excited to get a staple from my childhood. I recently ordered a chicken cheesesteak combo with a half and half. The cheesesteak was good. I could tell the toppings were fresh, it was hot, and the bread was good. The fries were very hot and the half and half was on point. In my opinion a little high in terms of price but was worth it considering the lack of options from surrounding carryouts.“

Best Birria I've found in Baltimore so far. Al Pastor Torta was great, the only thing I'd change would be to add maybe some Queso Oaxaca. Pupusas were delicious. Cinco de Mayo better watch out because El Pueblito can make a name for themselves in Baltimore. Will eat again!“

Store is usually clean and safe. Staff is extremely friendly and food is prepared as requested. Wait time is normally 10-15 minutes. I've been to other ABW locations but this one is my favorite.“

“The two guys at the counter were able to figure out how to put together a non-dairy veggie burger. Since one person in our group cannot tolerate dairy, this was great ?The regular veggie burger $9 was delicious. However, if you are like me and used to eating super healthy low fat/low salt foods the burger can taste a bit oily and salty. Kids though ate them up and loved every bite! Besides, it was the only place open at 8:45 on a Sunday night and I am grateful for that!
