“With a recent infatuation of fresh made pasta and my love of cozy quaint restaurants, Love, Pomelo was a must try on my list.

I've walked by Love, Pomelo on numerous occasions and never knew that some of the most delicious pasta was being made. I made a reservation for one and took a seat at the bar for the evening. The ambiance invoked a comforting romance novel, dimly lit with soft antique touches.

Since I planned my visit on a Wednesday during happy hour, I was able to not only partake in happy hour, but also their $20 pasta specials. So, I started with a Spritz as my cocktail and some of their broccoli, which I never knew broccoli could be the main focus and taste so damn good. Perfectly seasoned, crisp, and full of garlic flavor. I'm still dreaming of this broccoli. I opted for a red sauce rigatoni pasta with guanciale, and this pasta literally made my soul dance. A little red pepper flakes on the side for heat and I was in heaven. I couldn't end the night without dessert, although I was stuffed. So, I settled on a small serving of Amaro & Gelato. The sweet Amaro liquor poured over two small scoops of real pistachio gelato was the perfect nightcap to a beautiful meal.

Between the fresh made pasta and broccoli, Love, Pomelo has stolen a piece of my heart, to which I cannot wait until my next visit to relive the experience.“

“OMGOSH, this place is FABULOUS. Came for lunch after Dr appt best ( lost) decision we made. We will be back. Service was Great ( perfect ) Started with Espresso martini ( best I ever had ) Crab soup absolutely delish topped with lots of lump crab meat. No shells. We shared Shrimp Gondola ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING. Shrimp on toasted baguette bread with simply delicious cream sauce. ( a definite must try) Hubby got pizza with mushroom n sausage. WoW!! I ordered Grilled Chicken Pesto Panni , which came with fries or mixed greens( I opted for mixed greens ) I will have to update on taste because I could not even take a bite of panini. I did eat the greens which were also delish. Do yourself a favor try this place. We will definitely be back. Yes it's a two hrs drive but worth it. Cheers to entire staff. “Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. Such a great experience for an out of stater to have.“

“My husband and I were looking for a good meal slightly out of the chaos of Fells Point and stumbled upon this most delicious Italian restaurant. Chef John recommended the Rigatoni alla Vodka with shrimp and it was everything. My husband always particular about seafood felt the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We also had the Buratta as an App and took a Tiramisu to go and enjoy later. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable meal with excellent service. We will be back. If you are looking for an excellent meal in a beautiful environment I recommend it.“

“I love olive garden so much !!!! Usually I dont know what to get because all of it looks SO good and I want to try something I've never had sometimes and it always ends up good!!! I had gotten a text last night about a free delivery fee code ( OGDELIVERS) which saves me 5 bucks. And I knew immediately that I was ordering olive garden for lunch tomorrow . Originally I was thinking of ordering a bucket of my favorite soup ( zuppa toscana... its SOOOOO GOOD . I love it SO MUCH. I cant eat from OG without having it.) And then just 2 desserts one for later and one for tomorrow ( because i have nothing sweet in my house and dont feel like going anywhere and ik I'll crave a sweet lol) that's all I was going to order ..... But of course it's a womans prerogative to change her mind lol so when I looked at the menu I ended up choosing something I never ordered specifically from olive garden and it was the *CHICKEN TORTELLONI ALFREDO* .. I absolutely LOVE Alfredo . (As long as it's not from a jar from the grocery store, it has to be homemade or atleast tastes homemade). And I dont know what Olive Garden does to their chicken to make it SO DAMN GOOD ...but Its literally DELICIOUS. definitely one of my favorite chickens!! And their are ALOT of different chickens.....lmao. and then instead of having normal chicken alfredo with the classic fettuccine noodles... it's made with asiago cheese filled tortellini. Which is pretty similiar to cheese raviolis. So a chicken alfredo with cheese stuffed tortelloni.... I needed to try that ! And I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY I DID . I TOOK THAT FIRST BITE AND MY EYES INSTANTLY ROLLED INTO THE BACK OF MY EYES AND I SWEAR I WASNT THERE FOR LIKE 3 SECONDS . SO GOOD THAT IT CAUSED AN OUTER BODY EXPERIENCE. . now THAT Is how you know it's good. & OF COURSE between soup or salad, I chose my favorite soup Zuppa Toscana) and it came with 2 bread sticks . This meal was so great. And i was just so happy ... SOO GOOD THAT I HAD TO WRITE THIS REVIEW TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW HOW GOOD IT IS

“Will miss you chicken guy!! This place was really good for its location. People who are hating don’t listen to them, it may have been a bit of a wait, but it was one guys running the whole show and I believe his food was amazing!

Also, because of its location he was very well aware how people could be. A man followed us and was essentially harassing us, chicken guy came out and made the guy leave.
