“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

“I usually don’t eat Indian food, too spicy, but the ambassador makes the food just perfect for my taste. Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Today I drove 28 miles from home just to enjoy dinner at this great restaurant. Thank you for the good food and good service.”

Raw and cooked apps. 5 or 6 small plates and only 2 large plates plus a big sharable large plate (octopus) special for up to 4 people. Good wine selection. great complimentary house-made limoncello to finish out the meal. Even an NA one for those that don't imbibe. Service was great!”

We ordered longganisa that taste like the Philippine Vigan longanisa. The lumpia was yummy and the sauce is the bomb. I wasn’t sure if the pancit being vegetarian will not suit me, oh I was wrong it was full of umami bomb! We requested. For the kimchi fried rice, we requested to have it with the red rice instead, it was a triple WOW! The kimchi taste so very good and the tangy spicy flavor was there! Ube mochi waffle was excellent, even without the macadamia nut. What more if it was included. For dessert we had the ube flan that melts in your mouth with its silky smooth texture, and I like that it is not too sweet. They also let us taste their mango coconut shave ice on the house, delish!
I don’t have any negative to say, everything is flawless, from its homey athmosphere, superb service and the best cookery from Chef Kiko!
We will dine again and this time it will be their dinner menu. Shoutout to Zoe and Danvic! See you again folks!”

“I came here on a double date and had been wanting to try it for a while. The Cinder and Sumac cocktail was unique and fresh. We shared the shishito peppers and potatoes for apps, which were both delicious. My partner and I ordered the miso mushroom bucatini and the pasta alla vodka to share. Both were very fresh and the quality of the pasta was very good, but I do feel they could have benefitted from a touch more salt (I don’t usually like my food super salty either). Most pastas give you the option to order a small or large size; we ordered the large and the portions were enormous — no complaints!— so just know that you can probably stick to the small if you’re sharing multiple pastas between two people. I didn’t catch our server’s name but she was incredibly kind, funny, and attentive. I will definitely be back!”

“Went for the first time with a coworker for lunch and he suggested the jambalaya, we got there just as they opened so no one else was there besides us. He got the chicken jambalaya and I got the seafood and let me tell you it was AMAZING!! It was way too much for lunch I felt like I needed a nap after eating all that but man it was fantastic. The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. Will definitely be going back and taking others with me to experience this place. The price is exactly what you should expect for this quality and type of food, it was delicious and the service was fantastic so yeah you pay for that this isn't your local Dennys thank God. I love finding places like this then sharing with others so glad my coworker shared it with me.”

“I went for the first time yesterday for happy hour. I've been craving oysters. I was not disappointed. The bartender was great, the bar crowd was fun, food fantastic and drinks were perfect. Will definitely be a regular at this spot!”

“Adorable and quirky cafe that is 100% worth all the hype, the long waits, and the hard-to-snag reservations. I visited Golden West Cafe on a Sunday afternoon with a moderately large group (7 people). We were originally hoping for a brunch reservation but could only snag a 3 PM slot -- a testament to how incredibly popular they are -- although we ended up being ready at 2 PM and called ahead to ask if they could seat us earlier. They, very graciously, were able to make space for us to come a tad earlier.

The food was absolutely incredible -- it was some combination of American comfort and Mexican / Latin American, with classic Mexican items like huevos ranchos, fish tacos, and enchiladas right next to traditional American brunch selections like chicken and waffles, hot cakes, and so forth. Their menu is also remarkably vegetarian / vegan-friendly, and it features their own house-made vegan chicken!

We decided to split a few items, including the zucchini brie hot cakes, fish tacos, and vegan hot honey chicken and waffles. All three were outstanding, but my favorite had to be the zucchini brie hot cakes. The cakes were remarkably soft and fluffy, and I loved the bit of sweetness from the zucchini (and maple syrup, of course), and the extra hit of rich creaminess and savoriness from the brie. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo, and it was easily one of the biggest surprises of the meal.

The rest of the items were also delicious, although not quite as wowing.The fish tacos were well-fried and flavorful, and I was quite impressed by how crispy and thin their accompanying fries were. I really enjoyed the flavor of the hot honey vegan chicken and waffles, but I was, admittedly, a little bit thrown off by the texture of both. It's very possible that the waffle had just gotten a bit soggy because I ate this dish last and it wasn't quite at its peak freshness. Either way, I really enjoyed my time here, and it's 100% worth I try. I can't wait to make my way back to Hampden to sample the rest of their menu!”

“A little past midnight, I looked for a 24/7 Subway and placed an order through the app while in my car. Although the estimated pickup time was 12:34 AM, the employee noticed me waiting and hurried to prepare my order, allowing me to receive it 10 minutes early, which I appreciated.

This location is inside a gas station, so there is no seating available, making it strictly a carry-out location. Additionally, the employee preparing the sandwiches was not very friendly and did not acknowledge me until the end of the transaction, he was curt but professional enough. Aside from the service attitude, everything else about my experience and the food was great.”

“This was my first visit to this Subway as it is inside the Exxon station and easy to miss. The employees were very friendly, the subs were tasty, and mostly made to order. I placed the order online, so they may have missed the request to make the bacon crispy.

This location accepts coupons / offers in the app. I would recommend this location.”

“Located inside of Sinai Hospital and very convenient. I visit this location on a regular basis because they are open 24 hours. Good food and as always fresh. The tomatoes could be more ripe instead of green. My sandwich was put together messy which is reflective of the service in my opinion.

It’s an Express location so the food is prepared and you just walk up and take what you want. I grabbed one of the 4 piece deep dish pep for lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly…. I’ve been to a lot of LC and most are made pretty shotty and horrible….but this was primo!! Place should be commended!!”

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. The Dive is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood”

Recommend getting there early just because wait times are crazy. Service was awesome I was there 5/21 and sitting on the first floor outside the server was amazing but sadly I can’t remember the young girls name she was tall and skinny. It was a little cold by our table and they immediately noticed and offered to adjust the temp for me. Everyone who passed by our table offered assistance. We never felt rushed. The birthday and anniversary touches added to the occasion. Overall, there were so many personal touches from the handwritten bday card to the beautiful white rose I received. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.”

Just happen to be the first place that popped up on one of my food delivery apps. After reading the menu I was worried about the spice level, there is no where to request the spice level and I am 2 levels below frank red hot spice. Lol. I ordered the Gotham City bowl with no crazy sauce, extra white sauce and added Falafels. It wasn't spicy, had loads of flavor and was huge! My daughter got the Chicken Quesadilla, Tandoori chicken which she loves. The food was packaged up nicely with no mess and stapled. My daughter and I have no complaints and have discovered another favorite place, all by accident.”
