“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5”

It’s an Express location so the food is prepared and you just walk up and take what you want. I grabbed one of the 4 piece deep dish pep for lunch. Everything was cooked perfectly…. I’ve been to a lot of LC and most are made pretty shotty and horrible….but this was primo!! Place should be commended!!”

“One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. The line might seem a bit intimidating, but trust me, it’s worth it. There’s a line for a reason. Not only do they have some of the most fun specialty drinks I’ve seen (sipping on a Fig Chai Fog right now), but the food is orgasmic. This morning, My boyfriend got us a bunch of things to split, including the breakfast sando. The fact he even gave me half of this is commendable. If I tried it first, just like he did, I would have hidden the rest for myself because there’s no way would I share it. It is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. The chipotle pepper jelly makes me want to do cartwheels. I also highly recommend the crab dip bagel, but really anything you get will be amazing. Always the best service too! Super sweet workers. If I was nonstop customer facing I don’t know if I would have a smile on my face like they do. Bravo!”

The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. Will definitely be going back and taking others with me to experience this place. The price is exactly what you should expect for this quality and type of food, it was delicious and the service was fantastic so yeah you pay for that this isn't your local Dennys thank God. “I visited for a special occasion dinner over the weekend. Our reservation time was close to closing and we had a large group, but I really appreciate them accommodating us regardless. Our group didn’t feel rushed and everything came out pretty quickly. Our server was Estrella and she was awesome. She skipped no beats. Other staff were also friendly and happy to answer questions/provide guidance.

The main room is very beautiful and they gave a complimentary dessert and card which was a sweet touch. I enjoyed my food, but the lemon butter prawns were especially a standout! I loved that the steaks were not over-seasoned so you really got the flavor from the cuts. I’d definitely revisit to try other items.

Also, FYI-not sure if it was due to our group size(~9 ppl), but there was a 20% gratuity automatically added along with 3% facilities fee. Valet was $20.”

“I visited for a special occasion dinner over the weekend. Our reservation time was close to closing and we had a large group, but I really appreciate them accommodating us regardless. Our group didn’t feel rushed and everything came out pretty quickly. Our server was Estrella and she was awesome. She skipped no beats. Other staff were also friendly and happy to answer questions/provide guidance.

The main room is very beautiful and they gave a complimentary dessert and card which was a sweet touch. I enjoyed my food, but the lemon butter prawns were especially a standout! I loved that the steaks were not over-seasoned so you really got the flavor from the cuts. I’d definitely revisit to try other items.

Also, FYI-not sure if it was due to our group size(~9 ppl), but there was a 20% gratuity automatically added along with 3% facilities fee. Valet was $20.”

I've walked by Love, Pomelo on numerous occasions and never knew that some of the most delicious pasta was being made. I made a reservation for one and took a seat at the bar for the evening. The ambiance invoked a comforting romance novel, dimly lit with soft antique touches.

Since I planned my visit on a Wednesday during happy hour, I was able to not only partake in happy hour, but also their $20 pasta specials. So, I started with a Spritz as my cocktail and some of their broccoli, which I never knew broccoli could be the main focus and taste so damn good. Perfectly seasoned, crisp, and full of garlic flavor. I'm still dreaming of this broccoli. I opted for a red sauce rigatoni pasta with guanciale, and this pasta literally made my soul dance. A little red pepper flakes on the side for heat and I was in heaven. I couldn't end the night without dessert, although I was stuffed. So, I settled on a small serving of Amaro & Gelato. The sweet Amaro liquor poured over two small scoops of real pistachio gelato was the perfect nightcap to a beautiful meal.

Between the fresh made pasta and broccoli, Love, Pomelo has stolen a piece of my heart, to which I cannot wait until my next visit to relive the experience.”

We shared Shrimp Gondola ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING. Shrimp on toasted baguette bread with simply delicious cream sauce. ( a definite must try) Hubby got pizza with mushroom n sausage. WoW!! I ordered Grilled Chicken Pesto Panni , which came with fries or mixed greens( I opted for mixed greens ) I will have to update on taste because I could not even take a bite of panini.
