“Souvlaki is the cutest restaurant in Hampden. At first glance, it appears to be a small bar with trendy touches. At least that's what I thought until I went to use the bathroom, which was spotless by the way. This place is huge with lots of nice touches that make it such a nice sit down spot. We ordered the spanakopita and platters to boot. The spanakopita was delicious. The pastry was super flaky with just the right spinach to dough ratio. My platter was huge. Honestly, we probably could have shared as we both had plenty of leftovers. My lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I tasted the potatoes and honestly wished I had chosen the fries over the rice. The potatoes were nice and crispy whereas the rice had some type of mint flavor that i could have done without. It was not nasty, I just believe it wasn't my preference. The service was great. I saw that they had plenty of regulars. The music was pretty good too. I would definitely go back for sure.“

“A fantastic find! We wandered in on a Thursday night without a reservation and were seated promptly. The food arrived quickly and was quite delicious. Our waiter Raphael was very attentive and a pleasant conversationalist. We enjoyed the stuffed calamari, Dover sole, and lobster pasta. All were very delicious. I elected to filet the Sole myself, but please note that it does come bone-in. The stuffed calamari is not the little calamari bites, but is the size of a chicken breast. The lobster pasta is very fresh, and the sauce has a sweet acidity that is to die for. Will return again!“

“I won't lie I've never been a huge fan of food trucks but a friend of mine that lives in the area took me to get dinner here I was shocked at how good the food was I got the chicken ?? gyro with extra meat it was excellent everything on it was fresh I haven't sad down and ate a whole meal in years but I finished everything and the only reason I didn't go right back to get more was because he was closed if you get over that stop by you won't be disappointed.“

“This place was a fave of mine while here. I honestly kept going back to try something new. The Chicken or Lamb - regardless of on a pita or plate - was phenomenal! The salad was refreshing and the deserts were to die for! I especially LOVE the chocolate mousse. I was only here for some local training at the hospital nearby but hope if I come back again, they are still here to try! Thank you so much! “A new spot that we’ve been trying to go here since it opened. Very “Octo” themed and has the decor to go with it. It has a nice bar downstairs with tables in the back. Walk upstairs and you’ll find a quaint room with more tables and a very nice separate bar for private parties or as an additional bar. Everything we tasted was great and the presentation was a delight to the eyes. You have to try the octopus ceviche and the ostrich tartar. The drinks were very tasty as well and everything was adequately priced. We’re going to add this spot to our dinner outing rotation and bring our supper club members. Definitely the best spot we’ve been to in the past year.“

I got the Eastern Shore breakfast sandwich which was a crab cake on a bun with scrambled eggs and either sausage or bacon. the table next to me got amazingly good looking waffles and pancakes. “This little establishment is nestled in a nice neighborhood with lots of foot traffic which makes it a fun place to dine al fresco on their patio. The sangria was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Gyro Sandwich and the Mediterranean Lamb Salad. Both were delicious. We had a couple of servers who were attentive and delivered prompt service. Enjoyed our experience.“

I had to go to a restaurant that had halal food, which was about 40 minutes away from the beautiful restaurant. I had to go, I finally got there. The food they served me was delicious, but. Staff was great, took 25 orders very quickly and the food came out all at once. It's a great reasonable place to host an informal party, just make plans for parking, as there was a farmers market at the same time! Thanks to all the staff who helped make it memorable!“

“I have not been here in a few years, I love the Lamb Chops and Chicken SHawarma here. We stopped here for dinner 3 months ago, and it was a nice cold night for some Mediterranean food in the area. I ts a nice spot for families and friends. The Lamb Chops are juicey and tender. I love the jelly lamb sauce or great seasonings on them. Chicken Kebabs are great with the hummus. Nice place and owners here. Good to be back again.“

They are usually overpriced, portion sizes are never up to par and it can be a stomach storm waiting to happen. That being said, after a long night waiting in the ER, I was in an adventurous mood. So I tried Yomna's Halal cart and was blown away! Where do I even start? The price! The flavors! The portion size! I was wrong about it all! For about $10 I got a drink and a meal. I almost felt like I was stealing! The Chicken over Rice is a culinary delight of flavors! The perfectly seasoned grilled chicken, thinly sliced over a generous bed of aromatic rice, smothered in that magical, white, tangy, creamy sauce and topped with a flavorful (not too spicy) hot sauce providing a satisfying kick of heat! All on top of a bed of lettuce, that was still fresh and crunchy. It might be one of the best things I've had in Baltimore. This is a must-try! If you're into food cart and if you aren't and best of all, no toilet roulette!“

“Excellent food! I’m real picky when it comes to Jamaican food so it means a lot when I say the food is delicious—well seasoned, good portion. In this picture, this is 1/2 my take out plate. I got the oxtail with rice n peas and ordered a side of plantain. Hubby got brown stew chicken and we ordered the ginger pineapple drink and sorrel. I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger pineapple drink is fresh. You can taste the real ginger and pineapple and you can taste the ginger and sorrel in the sorrel as well. Whenever we’re in the area, this is our spot.Vegetarian options: If you’re a vegetarian then the escovitch dish is a good option for you“

“I came to have Iftar Ramadan. As soon as I entered, they asked have you had eaten Iftar? And I haven’t eaten yet. They immediately brought the Iftar with less than 5 minutes. The food remained me of Home. It was super fresh and yummy. The servers were super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend and I would definitely comeback again.“
