The decor brightened an otherwise gloomy and stormy day. The service was efficient and friendly. Menu labeled for dietary restrictions and can ask server for help. The food (brunch prix fixe with burrata (no bread) and steak eggs) had the right flavors to waken the palate and satisfy the soul and the stomach. Kudos to the right amount of salt on each dish to highlight all the deliciousness. Cantaloupe to Spain was a balanced cocktail with unique flavors and smooth to drink.

Overall a memorable brunch experience and I'll be recommending to friends in and out of DC. Look forward to coming back.“

“I had a wonderful time at Casamara! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the music was fantastic. We were seated at the front, where the atmosphere was excellent. Our waiter was incredible and did more than was expected to make my friend's birthday special; she was very attentive during the whole meal and offered us excellent wine recommendations. All aspects of the food, the service and the general atmosphere were perfect. It's definitely a place I'd recommend if you wanted to have a fun night out or mark a special occasion!“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! “We went to Alhambra for dinner during Restaurant Week. The food was outstanding and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My husband ordered the borak, which was unbelievably delicious. I ordered the bib lettuce salad which was a lovely choice. I then ordered the halibut which was very yummy. It was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside which was perfectly cooked. It sat on a bed of chickpeas with fried spinach crisps. My husband enjoyed Peri Peri chicken with rice. And then we had olive oil cake with pistachio ice cream and candied orange peel. We both loved it. We ordered a glass of wine with our dinners and a cappuccino with dessert. A very wonderful meal that will be remembered for a long time.“

“Wow, what a TREAT is the best way to describe this place! In a cozy part of DC and serving up such a cool experience.

The concept of getting to pair wines throughout your meal is innovative and so fun! And the availability of wine choices is incredible. The food was also fantastic and we loved the cute “fun pairings” at the end, which we had milky ways paired with a port wine.

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

It was a busy Saturday night so it was crowded and very noisy (not conducive to a quiet conversation). Service was okay considering how busy it was.“
