“My husband and I dined here for our anniversary. We did not have a reservation but we were greeted very warmly and seated right away. The restaurant is small and quaint but it's beautifully decorated. It was the manager's first day there. I forgot his name but he was very sweet and hospitable. Our server Oscar was also very nice and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was delicious. Make sure you try the hibiscus lemonade. The sampler spread with the pita bread is delicious. We also ordered some lamb and the branzino which was also delicious. They kept our glass for water fulll. They kept the bread flowing. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend. They even gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco to toast for our anniversary. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.“
“It's a really comfortable, quiet place, the photo below makes it seem bright, but that's just because my phone adjusted the brightness according to my camera. There was a huge choice of items on the menu including vegetarian, lamb, chicken, beef, and fish. There was a full set of appetizers, desserts, wine and beer. I had chicken in mushroom sauce with rice pilaf, it came with a salad. It was a lot of food for one person to eat, and it was delicious.“
“We ate here twice, the first by chance and the second time because it was our favourite meal of the holiday. Food outstanding. Prices very reasonable. Amazingly not a table empty at a time when most restaurants struggling. Complimentary garlic bread was delicious, as was the brownie and ice cream at the end of the meal. I generally choose vegetarian dishes, but the stifado was so tasty and tender. We loved Gerani.“
“KAT did a wonderful job in explaining the importance of the food options and all the dietary choices. I really appreciate her perspective and customer service. She is awesome and don’t believe I would’ve had any better service. She great asset to the location!“
“We placed an order to pick up, and it was ready at the promised time. The koobideh and joojeh kebob were properly seasoned and prepared. The rice was long grain, aldante, and flavourful. The bread was warm and fresh.Prices are reasonable, and portions are large.“
“Such a romantic restaurant! Perfect for date night. My boyfriend & I had dinner here the Monday after valentine's day as a belated valentine's dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant still had its valentine's decor in the bar entrance. So lovely! We made reservations for seats in the outdoor patio under the grapevines due to the reviews from other guests. Each table has a fire pit. And that was the major selling point for me to pick this restaurant. Great ambience for dinner. The restaurants provide blankets upon request. The seat warmers weren't working, but I still requested to sit on one rather than sit directly on the cold steel of the patio chairs. The fire did a good job of keeping me warm as it was a chilly February night.Since it was a Monday evening, there weren't many guests which was great. Nice & quiet for a romantic dinner. The service was excellent. Our waiter recommended a Greek wine which both my boyfriend & I really enjoyed. The cuisine is Greek Mediterranean. The dishes were unique, creative, & had great presentation. Everything was delicious from start to finish. It's family style so all dishes from appetizers to entrees to dessert are shared. We enjoyed the experience & left full but not overly stuffed, which is always a plus. The citrus salad & housemade focaccio bread were particular delectable.Highly recommend!! We'll be back for sure.“
“I stumbled upon Tail Up Goat while wandering the streets, and what a delightful discovery it turned out to be. Walking in for dinner at the bar, I was immediately impressed by the flawless service. The staff struck a perfect balance between professional hospitality and genuine human connection, making my dining experience truly enjoyable.Unlike some other restaurants where servers bombard you with uppity culinary jargon and $2 words they learned in a staff meeting, Tail Up Goat provided a refreshingly authentic experience. The food overall was excellent, with only one minor hiccup. The pork tenderloin, while flavorful, was a tad dry, possibly sliced too soon. However, even my "least favorite" dish was still enjoyable.Unfortunately, my experience was slightly marred by a small issue. I was offered a glass of bubbles, which I assumed was complimentary but was later charged for. It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively speaking, but thankfully didn't completely sour my overall experience. It's entirely possible it was just a misunderstanding on my part that I should have clarified.Despite this minor blip, I would still highly recommend Tail Up Goat for its warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious food. It's definitely worth a visit.“
“We came here for friend’s birthday and although imperfecto doesn’t scream birthday vibes the restaurant absolutely delivered. Food was immaculate- the drinks were delicious and the service was great. It was peak brunch time so the restaurant was super busy - but the staff was very timely and attentive.Onto the drinks, we had a variety of drinks, a crowd favorite was (classic) the espresso martinis. Some food highlights include the wagyu burger, the avocado toast was supreme, mussels, chicken and waffles and the pancakes.Be sure to specify if you are celebrating an event as the staff will be sure to make it special.“
“This is a gem of a spot in Cleveland Park! I discovered it one day and now I’m a regular and have started bringing my friends. Who all have said they wanna come back. The restaurant is small, but intimate and the food is amazing. The Scallops are a must try. Every time I’ve gone and sat at the bar and have always had an amazing experience. Kyle & Victor are so knowledgeable on their wines and just make the experience 10x better. The playful pairings on the menu are also another highlight and a lot of fun. Definitely a spot worth checking out!“
“I don't remember how I found this place online, but am so glad. You'll feel like you're on a treasure hunt and maybe in the wrong building, but go to the G (=LL) floor via the elevators and it's there. Simple decor and the owner is really friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent - I am vegan and he had no problem using tahini instead of tzaziki in my falafel sandwich, which was one of the best I've had! The prices were extremely reasonable and I am just sad it's so hidden away that people won't just run across it without knowing about it. The food was obviously prepared with care. Worth a visit - I plan on returning!“
