“Cava is a great alternative to fast food when you need food on the run. It’s also a great place for picky eaters to get their food exactly how they want it and gradually expand their food choices. My daughter started with white rice and meat. Next visit added romaine lettuce. Next visit chopped tomatoes. Next visit added greek dressing on the side, etc, etc.

“Decided to try this place out, and I was very much impressed. The staff is very attentive and gives their customers such good care. The hospitality was just amazing. Even the ambiance gave the whole restaurant an inviting atmosphere. Not only that, but the food was phenomenal itself. Their havuc (carrot dip) is incredibly addicting as well as the grilled red pepper dip. The meat was seasoned very well, giving my food amazing flavor. I typically don’t like chicken, but the chicken dish I got was absolutely phenomenal. The cocktails served not only tasted great but were aesthetically pleasing (and perfect for pictures). Before I left, I got the date soft serve ice cream and it eas absolutely delicious. There was a little salt sprinkled on, giving it a perfect balance of salty and sweet. It tasted similar to salted caramel and overall was delicious. Everything from the food to the environment at Kirby Club was fantastic and I will definitely be going back.“

“I'll be honest, I'm a California food snob. I've struggled to find affordable, consistently delicious food in DC and miss spaces that are clearly family owned where the food is made with love. I have found that at Green Almond Pantry.

My partner and I have made a routine of going every weekend and every single thing we have tried has been fantastic. I remembered to take a picture of the foccacia after I had already quickly inhaled half. The breakfast sandwiches were to die for. Each frittata has been mouth watering. I'll try and remember to take some photos next time I go.

Not the quickest option as they carefully heat and create each dish, but you can grab a coffee or boba from the spot next door while you wait.“

It felt like fine dining, he gave us a bit of conversation and seem like such a pleasant gentlemen. I enjoyed the food. It was amazing. “The new kid on the block is a great lunch spot with reasonably priced and delicious food. I had the chicken shawarma sandwich and spoke to the chef. He elevated this basic dish to really nice levels and there's a unique spice blend that you won't find anywhere else. This is a tough location for a business but hopefully they can survive.“

“Last night I had dinner at @villa yara. Ash was our server, amazing and knowledgeable. The food was bright, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The beet hummus was my favorite. The atmosphere is intimate with amazing lighting, decor and ambiance! I highly recommend if you are in Georgetown! Don’t skip dessert, the baklava is soooo yummy!“

“Came for a tasting as part of Tasting Collective and was glad I did. This was truly a great experience. The 5 course tasting had 2 courses (1st & 4th) that needed to be altered as I'm a pescetarian therefore, don't eat duck. So in place of the duck paté, I was served figs and brie and in place of the duck breast I was served branzino. Each course was nicely paired with wine, again adding to this wonderful experience.

The fig and brie with the croutons was delicious, followed by the roasted pear with gouda, pecans and pomegranate sprinkles which was a delightful tasty plate. Who would think white chocolate and cauliflower purée would be delicious and pair beautifully with seared scallops? Clearly Chef Moore did and how right was he. That purée had folks at our table scraping to get all of it. The next course was a substitute dish and was beyond disappointing, especially compared to the other 3 courses. The branzino was BLAND, but the olives that were on the side were extra salty. I thought I was supposed to eat them together, but that didn't help. I couldn't even eat this course. The final course was a butterscotch pudding, a great way to end the meal/night.

Chef Moore was very welcoming. He answered questions and took pictures with the guests.

Harissa and crazy feta will drive madness to pure happiness like no tears. Pita strips be known for simple crunch yet such rigid edges that will satisfy like no other. They do also have some kids items and a high chair. I loved the mezza platter and there was a lot of chicken with the Shawarma Greek Salad, which I wasn't expecting.

Find a table, take menus and choose. Go to the bar and order your food and take your drinks, then pay. Food brought to you, but doesn't always come together - we had almost finished one meal before the rest arrived. However, the pizza is delicious, freshly prepared and cooked, and good VFM. Would definitely return.“
