The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!”

“There is always a place in our hearts for the easy asian takeout restaurant, and this has taken the role from the 3 others we kept drifting between. Considerably above the average (although the dumplings are soundly beaten out by another of our options), this has become our regular stop when we have a hankering for this variety of cuisine.”

“We stay at this Ritz-Carlton location from time to time, and Entyse is a focal point of those visits. It’s an all-day operation, and indeed the only dining option on-property. The bartenders and wait staff are highly attentive, personable, and quick to remember your preferences. There’s usually a decent crowd, and on weekends there’s live music ranging from jazz piano to a classic hits band.

While it is definitely a lounge first and a restaurant second, there is a decently extensive menu for each breakfast, lunch and dinner with a number of tempting options. There’s also a bar menu that’s served all day and until midnight daily, which is a godsend for the weary traveler arriving late in the evening.

So many places close early in this post-Covid era that it’s great to see a proper hotel bar open late nightly.

Oh, and if you’re a wine person like I am, you’ll certainly enjoy the 25+ options offered by the glass. Although we are guests of the hotel, it’s easy to see why so many locals frequent this lounge too.”

“This is my go-to for lunch when I am at the office and I've been going for 5 years. Family run business that makes the best sandwiches in Tysons. It's in the basement of an office building and is a very utilitarian space--you don't come here for the atmosphere. That said, it is always clean and well stocked with non-alcoholic drinks. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches are both great. You can eat there, or grab and take back to your office if you are nearby. My co-workers and I think the prices are on the low side, but that may be the economics of their location. A typical sandwich there is anywhere from $3-$5 cheaper than what you would expect topside in the Boro or Galleria, and the portions are actually bigger.

The venue itself is fantastic for hosting events, and I highly recommend ShipGarten for birthdays, gatherings, or any special occasion. As soon as anyone in the restaurant needed anything, we witnessed him assisting the service staff to make sure that it was done immediately. He is the type of manager that people dream of! Wish he were on my team. Luis was our server and was great! He was on top of our every need, was attentive, and easily on of the best servers I've ever had. To round out the team, Juan was behind Luis with any additional support that we needed. Quiet professional with great service; Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Overall the service, ambiance, food, and staff were wayyyyyy more than we expected. We look forward to patronizing this location again. I wish I had pics, but we ate too fast.”

“I ordered some dairy free cookies because I lost my brother unexpectedly this week. He was only 34 and was just craving a chocolate chip cookie. Unfortunately, the store did not have the items I ordered, the employee called and explained. Then they didn’t have the right number of cookies available. They were super apologetic and offered to make some fresh ones. I am pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness both in adding the note and adding more cookies, they were so warm and delightful.
