“Wish Tea is on the first floor of Tyson Center. The store has a nice and large environment, but it's not very obvious and easy to miss. The taste is okay! It's not the kind of flavor that makes people feel amazing, and I won't go out to repurchase it, but it is a smooth cup of milk tea. If I happen to be thirsty, I will buy a cup to quench my thirst. This is the first time I have seen a super large cup capacity, which is very good. The grass jelly is quite delicious, I recommend adding some.“

“There are not many choices for hand-cranked drinks at Tyson Center. It seems that they only have Kung Fu Tea and Yuan Tea. Both businesses are doing well, but Kung Fu Tea is doing better. You have to queue for five to ten minutes to order a drink. The taste is similar to other branches, and the oolong tea is quite thirst-quenching. Kung Fu Tea is located on the side of a certain aisle. It is easy to walk by, so you need to pay a little attention.“

“Worker here at GC/PokiDC, I think the poki is pretty tasty and healthy too, and I would suggest ordering on Mondays/Fridays (it’s a bit less busy) and the weekends. The spicy mayo sauce is the most requested but has a high fat/calorie content. Opt for brown rice too if you’re cutting. Come grab a bowl, and maybe a boba tea, but I would suggest getting 50% sugar as the drinks we make are quite a bit sweet. Average poki bowl comes out to be $16 at the minimum and ranges to $18-$24. “My 4-month-old and I absolutely love this place. The ambiance, environment, and design are wonderfully spacious and kid-friendly. The top-notch food and drinks, especially the fresh sugar cane juice, are my personal favorites. My little one would probably agree if he could express it (maybe in a year). Overall, I'd rate this place 9.5/10. The only thing missing is an entertainment center or a selfie/promo spot for young adults, but they more than make up for it with their incredible drink.“

“We are regulars as we live nearby, some of the best fruit teas in Alexandria. We come once every 2-3 weeks (when we can resist). I also love their taro with almond milk too, and they have friendly service and an inviting atmosphere. Super close to the metro, too. Give them a try!

Dietary restrictions: They have almond and oat milk as substitutes for lactose! Not sure about gluten, but they would tell you if you asked.

Parking: Usually there’s at least one street spot open in front, and if not there is also a free parking garage around the corner when you head towards the Colecroft condos, and 3 retail spots you can use too. The walk is short.“

While it might look quaint it makes great boba, they know what they are doing. It might not be the fanciest drink you can get but it sure is tasty. “Excited to try a new bubble tea shop. Not a knock on them, but they're really tucked away in the corner of the shopping center.

I went in late afternoon and there were a few customers, but not much of a line. The cashier was up on the Yelp event and helpful, so no issue figuring out how to order. I peeked at the menu ahead of time and decided on the Japanese brown rice milk tea with boba. I also grabbed an ube cookies & cream cookie for later.

Order was ready pretty quickly. I've never had Japanese brown rice milk tea, so I'm not sure if the flavor is inherently mild or if this has a lot of milk. I did like what I tasted, with it being slightly nutty/earthy. Boba were cooked well, soft exterior with a nice bite to them.

Wall art was fun... I think French bulldog focused. While a bit out of the way, I'd definitely like to give some other flavors a shot the next time I'm in the area.“
