“Great ice cream with tons of flavors, one flavor for $5, two for $6!Like most places, they offered free samples and I really appreciated the clipboard wall to clearly display all the flavors they had available. There were 3 different freezers, and so many options for cones, shakes, toppings, and even pints to take home ??I really enjoyed the matcha cheesecake and the orange chocolate chip flavors, as well as red velvet cake that had chunks of cake in their ice cream, that I tried but there were so many to choose from that I couldn’t try so I’d be happy to check it out again!Dietary restrictions: Ice cream flavors with nuts are clearly distinguished“

“We discovered this place during our son's practice nearby and become a regular now. Here are a couple of reasons, this place is big so you don't have to wait for a table. The portion is big and definitely has more ingredients than other pho. They have a lot of variety to choose from. Of course, they taste good as well. So give it a try and you won't be disappointed.“

“Great Vietnamese in DC! I got the Fresh Summer Rolls and Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Rice Plate for $22. The Summer Rolls were really good and great quality. Came with a yummy thick peanut sauce that complemented the lightness of the rolls well. The lemongrass chicken was very good and had a satisfying flavor. The rice with it was good, you can’t go wrong with rice. I don’t know why, but there was also large cucumber, tomato, and lettuce pieces that came on the plate. I ate those separately, but the carrots and onions there went well with the chicken. The service was extremely fast. I was talking with this older lady who said the Pho Ga cured her illness, and before I knew it, my food was here. Great service and the atmosphere is nice but it was a bit crowded by the front desk. Overall, though, I give it 5 stars and will be back to try the Pho Ga.“

“The menu had too many good options and I wish I could come here all the time to get through the entire menu. During this trip, we tried the ube milk and the mango yuzu black tea. Both with boba of course. The ube milk was made with real ube so it was starchy like a potato, thick like a watered down milk shake, and really delicious. It wasn't sweet to me, it felt like a dessert vs a drink. The real winner was the mango yuzu black tea. It was also made with real mango fruit puree and tasted like a mango fruit leather. Bursting with flavor from the mango and had a zing from the yuzu, it was the perfect drink for the warmer weather outside. The boba was also so soft and chewy. This was a true boba place. And it was literally ran by one guy. If I lived in DC, this would be my go to boba drink place for sure.“

“So far I've only had two of their dishes, the signature bowl, and the salmon lovers, but both were impressive!I've been to a few other similar places in the area, but I feel like there were more varied ingredients, and you actually got a lot more food at this place for about the same price. They were friendly, happy to walk me through whatever choices I wanted to make and my food was out quick. Both dishes were tasty and I will definitely go back here again when I'm in the area...“

“We’ve been going to this place at least 2x a week. Is been one of our favorite bubble tea place. We love all of their drinks especially their strawberry lemonade and rose milk tea. Their popcorn chicken is amazing. I am also grateful for their wonderful service. They always have a kind smile whenever I go. I am wishing them lots of success so I can always go get my strawberry bubble tea with strawberry boba“

“Teaism is a well-known teahouse brand with four shops in Washington, DC. I prefer the one in Dupont Circle because it has a cozy and homely feel, especially the upstairs dining area with windows overlooking the street. The place has an Asian-inspired decor and offers quality teas, all-day breakfast, bento boxes, light Japanese and Thai-style meals, and some snacks such as cookies and Asian-inspired desserts like matcha gelato, jasmine creme brulee, and mochi. We ordered salmon and Korean Beef Brisket bento sets, which tasted amazing. The salads that came with them added crunchiness to the food. The mochi had the expected texture and taste. It's a self-service establishment, so there is little to discuss about the service.“

“It's pricier than other places, but the consistency and quality is worth the price imo. This is my go-to over Gong Cha, KFT, Cha time, and Beng Gong's. Good songs also. Decent parking. Heavily enforced parking lot, so PAY FOR IT, it's not a bad rate.“

“Great option for take away or carry-out of ramen and poke bowls. This place has a variety of offerings including bubble tea.The first floor has an order counter where they prepare your poke bowls and bubble tea in sight. If you are looking for a different environment from the first floor to dine in, there is a nice downstairs bar with a few tables.During the week, it’s pretty fast and sometimes on the weekend, there are lines, though everything moves pretty quick. The staff are very friendly and the food is fresh and tasty.“

“hi, I had a few crepes from here (banana strawberry and Nutella) and they were really good . however I would say that the beverages vary.. I ordered a bubble milk tea and it was too sugary for my liking even when I requested for low sugar percent, I was eating literal tiny chunks of sugar. the strawberry banana smoothie was better. I did not dine in but the place is clean and has a nice atmosphere“

“Having lived in Japan for several years, it is difficult to find a place that possesses the traditional qualities and aesthetic as an authentic Ramen shop. After eating at Oishii, we felt transported to both Japan and Thailand, as the Khao Soi (northern Thailand) and pork Ramen (Japan) bowls, were of the utmost authenticity and the environment had that Asian ramen shop quality feel. If you truly want Ramen in its most traditional sense or any other Asian dish that focuses on Ramen, this is the place to go to.“

“We stopped by this Luna Hall in Chinatown Washington DC for teatime. It’s a cool looking place with lots of seats and different stalls selling various types of food. We ordered some Shanghai Shumai and Stir-fry Noodles at Dumpling District. We also tried their Rainbow Soup Dumplings with 6 different flavours… Pork Soup Dumpling, Crab Meat Soup Dumpling, Shrimp & Zucchini Soup Dumpling, Chicken Soup Dumpling, Mala Soup Dumpling and Black Truffle Soup Dumpling. The dumplings tasted so flavourful and yummylicious! At Kungfu Tea, we ordered two medium sized Matcha Red Bean Slush and Mangonada Slush (a spicy slush with intense flavour). Overall, it’s a nice cool place to relax and catch up while enjoying some yummy food.“

“Easy five stars. There is so much passion in this little place. It feels like a home cooked meal. Pretty much is. The owner is so kind and welcoming. It's a glimpse of what I wish more businesses were like, with charm, quality, and love of the craft of tea making and food. It's a cute little place with lots of personality. I can see this place becoming very popular.“

“Very pleasant dine-in area and there is a kiosk for ordering (I like all the options available for sugar and ice levels, as well as the non-dairy alternatives i.e. oat milk, lactose-free milk. There are also many toppings to choose from.) On my second visit here I ordered a matcha bubble milk tea with oatmilk and it was very decent (the main drawback was the boba was not quite at the consistency I preferred). Overall, ia good place for bubble tea and worth a visit....“
“Dear Diary - Within the area there are a lot of boba tea places to try/go. This is a place to definitely try. Some of their flavors are something you do not usually get at other general boba locations which makes it appealing to go and try. I will definitely go back again to try more of their seasonal menu.“
“Small, cute shop, located next to A&J in the shopping center. Tried the green tea yogurt drink, which can be customized by sweetness and ice amount. Bubbles were extra, but good and chewy. They also have other topping options, which aren't available at all bubble shops.“

“One of the best places to enjoy bubble tea is here in Rockville town centre . They are specialize in creating this delicious drink and offer a wide range of flavors and toppings for customers to choose from. As soon as I walked into the shop, I was greeted with a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. The creative balck and white decorations on the walls created a fun and energetic vibe. The staff behind the counter were friendly and eager to help me navigate the menu, which featured an extensive selection of bubble tea flavors, milk teas, and fruit teas. I got my favourite milk tea series of honey dew melon and vanilla . Both are very delicious and highly recommended from this place . Am sure am Gona visit often .“

“A coworker recommended this place for bubble tea which surprised me as I didn't know they offered it. The staff were very friendly and patient as they walked me through ordering. If you want a regular size, make sure to bring cash - they have a $5 min for cards which is understandable with the fees charged by credit card companies! I got an Oolong Milk tea with 50% sweetness and bubbles, which made it refreshing without being too sweet. There were tons of bubbles: they are smaller and chewier than other places but have HUGE flavor (wonderful brown sugariness). I hope to try their loose teas in the future (I enjoy a nice hot cuppa): based on the amount of people I see visiting and the fact they have been around so long makes me confident they have quality teas (even President George H.W. Bush visited them!)“

“Updated: Carol reached out to me regarding my previous review. Having to come from LA to visit a 4.0-rated boba place definitely has caught my attention and I had high expectations. She admitted the drink that was made (strawberry matcha latte) was an error on her team's end, and asked us to give SecreTea another try. We are glad that we did, as Carol & Greg was open to our suggestions and recommendations. It definitely tasted better than the previous visit we had encountered. Thank you, Carol, for your customer service and your willingness to make sure your customers are satisfied. We hope to visit again soon!“

“If you've never tried boba tea, please let this be your first. This is the one of the best places I've ever been to, and trust me when I say this, for I have went to tons of places in search for great boba. The place is clean and the workers are friendly. I ordered taro boba tea, crystal boba, aloe jelly, and no ice. That was my usual order.. until I tried the milk foam here. It is perfect! The texture is so nice, the flavor is sweet but not too sweet. I ordered that drink so many times that I can't even count. Another one of my favorites is the brown sugar cloud. Not many places have such cloudy boba that is this delicious.“

“Recently went to Fuji Japan since most restaurants in the area were closed and my parents and I were craving some type of Asian cuisine.Food is average, but decent given the price. It's a casual restaurant so when ordering you go up to the counter and pay for your food. If you decide to dine-in they'll serve you. Service is fairly quick though so no complaints about that. I had tried their boba which was not the best but not the worst. I don't think I would get it again in comparison to actually boba stores. It's definitely not tea based but I'm just glad it wasn't overly sweet. The tapioca tasted pretty good though! I recommend their miso soup but their salad and tempura you can skip out on.“

“I tried their (smoothie) sky shake and it was probably the best bubble tea flavor I’ve ever had. I was curious about the flavor since blue isn’t a common color for drinks and they described it as “blue matcha with coconut.” I personally don’t enjoy the flavor of coconut but this didn’t have a coconut flavor to it. It was subtly sweet and creamy. The tapioca pearls were not as dense as I would have liked them to be but that may just be my preference. The price was about $10 for a cup so it was a bit steep but it could be due to the location. Overall, I would suggest giving the sky shake a shot!“

“I was in town from Tampa Florida and found Share tea across the street from my hotel. I went twice in the same day I loved it so much.!!! I am still thinking about the tea I had..:not sure if I will be able to find a place here in Tampa as good as ShareTea … The girl was also so helpful that was working there to explain the different teas that I could have.“

“The boba and fried chicken here are both great! Placing an online order makes for almost zero wait time and the staff is always friendly. However when you place a boba order they often forget a topping which is frustratingParking: There is a lot for free parking that required a little walking and also paid street parking“

“Loved my second visit here with my hubby this time. I ordered the same thing again with different toppings-- the Strawberry Lady consisting of strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, marshmallows, and fresh strawberries. My husband got the Reese's Blast that had lots of chocolate and peanut flavors to it. Both items weren't overly sweet which I really appreciated. The order can be placed by using the touchscreen or by letting the cashier know. The price can be a bit extra except it's worth it. Our two ice cream orders came out shy of $16 but it comes with at least 3 free toppings of our choosing. The only gripe I have is parking. The lot in front of the store is perpetually full. It's best to park across the street if able.“

“I was pleasantly surprised with the ube (purple yam) mochi donut! I'm from Los Angeles visiting for business and the mochi donut craze has simmered down over there. The ube mochi donut here was perfectly sweet for this kind of donut, and it had a really nice mochi chew to it. For those unfamiliar with mochi, it's a rice flour, which makes the texture more chewy rather than a traditional donut. It's not a fluffy donut, so if it sits out for too long, the fried oil gets absorbed into the dough more. The one from Donutchew was still fresh enough to not have the oily texture to it.I also got a jasmine milk tea (half sugar) and really enjoyed it. Jasmine tea had a strong floral aroma/taste to it and this milk tea didn't dilute it out. If you like the taste of teas, I'd really recommend this one.“

“I came here recently and everything is good, the food is very good, but too expensive in my opinion. The portions of fish in my bowl were also small. There’s also a bubble tea shop right next to it (2 different counters, same building space). The only thing that really turned me off about this place was that they were playing r&b music, rap music, and soft rock. Put on oriental-themed music instead! The music that was playing seriously messed up the good oriental vibe! Also, the decor is very nice, but consider adding more if you can... Otherwise, all else was very good. I will come back for some good food and bubble tea in the future:)“

“A lovely milk tea spot that is known for plenty of milk tea options that come in reusable glass jars and aims for sustainability with paper straws as well. Prices range from $6-$8. One orders from a kiosk but the staff are incredibly friendly and the cafe setting is a nice place to meet friends or enjoy a drink. I didn't have a chance to try their snacks, but they definitely look really good.“

“I stopped by Kokee Cafe because I was really in the mood for some bubble tea. I ordered a strawberry milk tea. I liked that they only had one size, which made things simple. But, if you prefer a smaller or bigger cup, it might be a bit tricky. Now, the strawberry milk tea was a pleasant surprise. It tasted a lot like the milk left over after eating Froot Loops cereal - for me, that's a big win! The service was super fast. I didn't have to wait long, and everything was done smoothly. Quick service always makes things better, right?“
