“Delicious beverage and comfortable environment! I ordered the House Special Milk Tea with 50% sugar and 70% ice, and it was the perfect sweetness. The four seasons milk tea itself tasted amazing, and the boba pearls were chewy. If you’re not an oats person, this isn’t the drink for you. The oats were a little much for me, but it was still good with the drink. The seating area is nice and comfortable. Would love to come again!“

“This place is great! I got the spicy beef noodle soup and my wife got the scallop and pork soup dumplings and pan-friend pork buns and everything was very much to our liking. The broth was good, the pork buns were perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and qq on the inside, and the soup dumplings were CRAZY savory. I have no idea how they got the dumplings to be a punch of umami, but they did it!

The prices weren't crazy and the service was attentive but not overbearing. We also got the classic milk tea with boba and a mango-pineapple refresher and those were both good as well, though the food I think was better. Also, the menu recommended 50% sweet but we thought that even the 75% wasn't too sweet and the 50% on my refresher felt a little low.“

“This is my go-to poke bowl spot whenever I visit my parents in Rockville, and honestly, I feel like it’s a bit underrated because it’s so damn good. The salmon is always incredibly fresh, and I love pairing it with imitation crab.

My usual toppings are scallions, sesame seeds, sweet onions, mixed greens, spinach, lettuce, seaweed salad (a must), sweet corn, edamame, cucumbers, cilantro, masago, and sweet egg. The portions are generous, the flavors are consistently great, and the price is very fair for the quality you get.

Definitely one of my favorite poke spots in the area!“

“I ordered the Passion Mango Green Tea and wow — this drink is absolutely amazing! The flavor is bold, tropical, and incredibly refreshing. What really sets it apart is the green tea base — you can actually taste real jasmine in it, which gives it this delicate, fragrant depth that you don’t usually find in boba drinks.
I customized mine with regular ice, 50% sugar, mango jelly, coconut jelly, and mango pop — and every sip was perfectly balanced. The toppings added such a fun texture without overwhelming the drink. The mango pop was a delightful little burst of flavor!
The shop itself is clean, modern, and the service was quick. My order was ready right on time. If you haven’t tried the Passion Mango Green Tea yet, stop what you’re doing and go get one. Easily one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time!“

“I also ordered a basic pearl milk tea at 70% sugar. The milk tea itself tasted good great even, but the sweetness was a little off. The sugar or syrup they used tasted more like a sugar substitute, almost like the sweetness you get from chewing gum. Not bad, just not the typical milk tea sweetness I expected.

Overall, decent milk tea with a slightly unusual sweetener taste. I’d try other flavors before deciding if I wanted write this place off for milk tea.“

“My boyfriend and I went in to try their bingsoo and we just had to come back and try all the flavors. It was amazing!! the shaved ice part was creamy and fluffy (more like frozen cream, not shaved ice). all the flavors were good but I loved the red bean the most (actually i can go for any except the mango but it's a personal preference kind of thing). it was a tad expensive but I would say it's worth the treat plus the couple (I'm assuming) are lovely and nice. this is definitely our go-to bingsoo place.“

“I came in today and got a white chocolate milk tea. It was very sweet so I recommend reducing the sugar level to suit your taste. It was only $5 for 24 oz which is a lot better than some of the other options I have seen. The staff were very friendly and willing to correct the sweetness level of my drink with more tea. “I’m addicted to boba I have to drink at least one a day otherwise get withdrawal 😊 I’ve been to all the boba shops in Rockville and tbaar is definitely one of my fav. Boba and tea are fresh and the staff are helpful and friendly. They don’t seem to cut corners and I appreciate that. I like my teas with no ice, and cups are always filled to the brim, and they don’t skimp on ingredients for my smoothies.
Late closing is super convenient when I have late night cravings, and I can always find ample parking nearby.“
