“Having lived in Japan for several years, it is difficult to find a place that possesses the traditional qualities and aesthetic as an authentic Ramen shop. After eating at Oishii, we felt transported to both Japan and Thailand, as the Khao Soi (northern Thailand) and pork Ramen (Japan) bowls, were of the utmost authenticity and the environment had that Asian ramen shop quality feel. If you truly want Ramen in its most traditional sense or any other Asian dish that focuses on Ramen, this is the place to go to.“
“It is difficult to find stores that sell good loose leaf tea, and I was pretty happy to find this one at Westfield Montgomery Mall...I'm a fan of Assam and Japanese green teas (among many other types) and this store located on the second floor of the mall (near Starbucks) has a very good plain loose leaf Assam tea (as well as many flavored varieties). The Assam is very pricey, however, at 4 oz for around $23. So I go here only if I have a tea emergency. )Otherwise I order most of my tea online from TeaSource). I like that this store always has yummy samples to try at the front and exudes a cheerful, bright vibe...the associates are also always helpful and friendly.“
“The white foam coffee is delicious and better an experience than other foam topped coffees at other chains.Sui mai, the shrimp wrapped in wonton-like skin with their sauce. A definite trip back to your mother's table!Join Chinese table.Welcome Poke DC. to the tastiest tea house cafe, Gong Cha!“
“Hong Kong also has Kung Fu tea, but the American one is not as delicious as Hong Kong’s. I don’t know if the Kung Fu tea in the two places is the same company. This Kung Fu Tea shop has no faults. It’s not particularly delicious but it’s not terrible. If there were resting booths to choose from, I would definitely not buy this one. If there are no other similar shops nearby, it’s something you can buy and drink. . A cup is about six dollars, normal price.“
“We discovered this place during our son's practice nearby and become a regular now. Here are a couple of reasons, this place is big so you don't have to wait for a table. The portion is big and definitely has more ingredients than other pho. They have a lot of variety to choose from. Of course, they taste good as well. So give it a try and you won't be disappointed.“
“This place is unique and a delight to have in pentagon row! They have flavors I’ve never had anywhere before. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is made in house and it’s absolutely wonderful! Good excuse to take a walk to try every flavor! Yummy!!!“
“Great Vietnamese in DC! I got the Fresh Summer Rolls and Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Rice Plate for $22. The Summer Rolls were really good and great quality. Came with a yummy thick peanut sauce that complemented the lightness of the rolls well. The lemongrass chicken was very good and had a satisfying flavor. The rice with it was good, you can’t go wrong with rice. I don’t know why, but there was also large cucumber, tomato, and lettuce pieces that came on the plate. I ate those separately, but the carrots and onions there went well with the chicken. The service was extremely fast. I was talking with this older lady who said the Pho Ga cured her illness, and before I knew it, my food was here. Great service and the atmosphere is nice but it was a bit crowded by the front desk. Overall, though, I give it 5 stars and will be back to try the Pho Ga.“
“The menu had too many good options and I wish I could come here all the time to get through the entire menu. During this trip, we tried the ube milk and the mango yuzu black tea. Both with boba of course. The ube milk was made with real ube so it was starchy like a potato, thick like a watered down milk shake, and really delicious. It wasn't sweet to me, it felt like a dessert vs a drink. The real winner was the mango yuzu black tea. It was also made with real mango fruit puree and tasted like a mango fruit leather. Bursting with flavor from the mango and had a zing from the yuzu, it was the perfect drink for the warmer weather outside. The boba was also so soft and chewy. This was a true boba place. And it was literally ran by one guy. If I lived in DC, this would be my go to boba drink place for sure.“
“I was there today and the costumer service is great the people who works there are really friendly and nice.I’d order a mango slush and it was very refreshing and good.I definitely will come back thank you John and Mary for your service☺️“
“Great ice cream with tons of flavors, one flavor for $5, two for $6!Like most places, they offered free samples and I really appreciated the clipboard wall to clearly display all the flavors they had available. There were 3 different freezers, and so many options for cones, shakes, toppings, and even pints to take home ??I really enjoyed the matcha cheesecake and the orange chocolate chip flavors, as well as red velvet cake that had chunks of cake in their ice cream, that I tried but there were so many to choose from that I couldn’t try so I’d be happy to check it out again!Dietary restrictions: Ice cream flavors with nuts are clearly distinguished“
