Kid-friendliness: My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I saw a family with kids there (under the age of 12). I personally would not recommend bringing kids and I wouldn't bring my own until they were late teenagers. The atmosphere and food options are not really kid friendly“

“Walked up and they were playing a Tribe Called Quest, so the vibes were spot on. Music the entire time was perfectly in my wheelhouse. Located in a trailer across from an entrance to NIH. Bagel sandwiches were great. Big fan of the Grand Villa, an overloaded PB&J with some added peanuts and sunflower seeds. If you are hungry, try the Mountain View. Egg, a Latke, cheese, and avocado is a wonderful combination apparently. Outdoor seating only with some picnic tables. Parking is scant the two times I have been here.“

“My go-to for cookies here and in Los Angeles. The cookies make great food gifts, especially for people not from the East Coast. While the cookies themselves are delicious, they are painfully expensive.... although GIGANTIC! Prices went up recently which hurts. It is hard for me to say whether that high price is truly justified. My favorites for gifts are the traditional chocolate chip cookies, with and without nits, and the oatmeal raisin. MY personal favorites also include the new lemon cookies and the seasonal rocky road. I understand that the non-cookie items are also wonderful and can be cheaper than the cookies. I almost always also treat myself to their coffee whenever I pick up cookie-gifts. I am not a coffee afficionado, but find it really good. I highly recommend Levain and even at this current price point, will continue to buy. Sadly, I am not sure after the next hike. TRY THEM! PS - Door (Dash) Pass has a great $21 special for 4 cookies - usually my choice.“

“If you haven’t tried dolcezza you are really missing out. They have incredible flavor including some adventurous ones that switch up every now and then. Definitely the best gelato place in the area, is it the only one in the area that’s good? ? they also have ridiculously good coffee! I always take a bag home with me to brew. They don’t have a lot of seats inside the store but there is more seats outside if the day is nice.“

“Went 2 weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon. I normally purchase online but stopped past since I was in the area. I was greeted immediately by Yanni behind the register. He was extremely nice and welcoming. Sebastian was also welcoming and provided great conversation while he brewed me a sample of the Voltesso.“

But their water glasses were very dirty and we had to ask for plastic cups (you know it was so bad when you ask for plastic). Their mug had lipstick on it from another customer. So I say to the manager, please check your dishes, change/clean the dishwasher filter. No matter how good the food and decorations are, dirty dishes is not acceptable.“

I paired it with a delicious biscotti that was crunchy and not too sweet, making it the ideal complement. My husband tried the cortado, which was beautifully balanced with strong coffee flavor and silky milk. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for any coffee & Gelato lover! Try the mojito gelato is delicious!

“Everything about our visit to Marketplace Cafe in Nordstrom Montgomery mall was fine except the noise level. The restaurant was only about 50% full at best but the noise level was very high. I did not see much in the way of sound dampening finishes and that should be considered.“

“Beautiful salads and sandwiches. Extremely fresh. Prices are reasonable. A large chef salad is $6.25, dressing included, a Ham & Swiss on Croissant is $5.70. Coffee is fresh and hot and delicious with a lot of choices and much less expensive than the coffee shop that starts with an "S". I haven't tried them, but the great variety of breakfast baked goods looks fantastic too. Immaculately clean.“
