“My partner and I work occasionally at Imagination Stage. This place is perfectly situated just off the main part of busy downtown Bethesda. Very accessible, quick, clean service. I've been to plenty of places in the DMV which claim this "New York" aesthetic and this is the best I've been to so far. The staff is incredibly friendly and always attentive. My partner has made friends with the girl who works the register. I'm sure she does so much for the establishment and it makes the place a comfort to spend some time in. Their selection of drinks and food and other confectionery is really good considering their smaller size. I hope this place keeps going strong because they are always a happy part of my time in Bethesda.“
“It was the best coffee experience. Barista was well educated and he was able to answer questions about the coffee they have. Cortado has various flavor comes from Sumatra espresso and their brew coffee (it was Ethiopia) was the best brew coffee ever.“
“A great spot to get some work done, nice atmosphere, even in a busy weekend morning. Good seating options including an enclosed and heated outdoor patio. We had lattes, a cinnamon roll, and the avocado toast, all very good. I will absolutely be back!“
“This place was a very pleasant surprise. It had a very modern city feel, but very high quality food and drink that felt more like a fancy local cafe. Wait staff was friendly. The space is a bit crowded as you are competing for a seat with an army of laptops slow sipping their cappuccino (which was also great by the way).“
“The Red Bandna Bakery is outstanding. Because of my medical condition, I love the fact that all of their goods are gluten free. The cookie I bought was so sweet and tasty. The owner was a very pleasant young lady. It is my practice to put the positive and negative in my reviwes. I cannot think of any problems.“
“If you work nearby and don't feel like dealing with the food court at the Mall, then this is the spot for you! I usually eat here once a week, and the sandwiches are delicious. They have all types of sandwiches, a hot bar, a salad bar, and tons of beverages. Everything you would want from a deli/cafe. “Thank you Avenue Cafe for serving great eats at such late times !As a restaurant manager, I get off late sometimes when everything is close but Avenue cafe is open even later than when I’m off! & the food is always fresh and delicious !I highly recommend the steak and cheese sub as well as the crispy 2x Buffalo chicken sandwich. But to be honest , from what I’ve experienced - you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!I appreciate y’all at Avenue cafe!“
“I'm so happy to stumble upon Rock Cafe, because there are not many (or any other) places to grab a bite to eat within Bedford building complex. The cafe on the ground floor of Total Wine HA. The entrance might be a bit hard to find, but it is on the side that is facing the main road. While it's a small cafe, it has a menu that contains various salads, soups, and sandwiches. Also, I believe Rock Cafe has Indian food on Mondays and Thursdays. Since I visited on a Thursday and didn't want a sandwich, I decided to go with the Butter Chicken. OMG! The dish was so yummy. In fact, the plan was to eat half of it and save the rest for dinner. However, it was so delicious that I ate the entire thing!The owner/manager has a great rapport with the Rock Cafe's visitors and seems to be on a first name basis with many of them. I have a feeling that I will have a few more lunches at Rock Cafe.“

There's almost never a wait when I go there. And they have all the flavors available. You can also buy machines and other accessories. “I love a market that sells overpriced canned beverages and snacks. This sounds sarcastic, but I couldn’t be more sincere. I come to Foxtrot specifically for Bawi (pineapple or passion fruit flavor), Barbet and Torres (black truffle) chips. Foxtrot is the only retailer that I can find these brands at.Coffee bar: Coffee is SO much better than Starbucks. All the traditional coffee shop beverages are very good. Specialty beverages- I had high hopes for the tiramisu latte it was nothing revolutionary, but haven’t tried any other specialty drinkBreakfast tacos are excellent for the cost and ease. “One of the few restaurants that has stood the test of time. Tasty gluten free food in an unpretentious atmosphere. If you get the lunch special it's pretty good value. With it being a beer and wine store as well, the drink prices and options are above average.If you are gluten free this is a gem. If you aren't, it's definitely worth a try. The gelato is good too.“
