“I recently discovered nomtastickim on Instagram and her Asian restaurant reviews. I don't like American food, but I've liked everything I've eaten after seeing her Asian restaurant reviews.
I picked up three items this morning at Morning My Day. The choices were plentiful and tempting. A coconut braid-not too sweet, just perfect for early morning with coffee or tea, a curry pork sung bread that was absolutely hands down delish-heated it in the oven for 5 minutes and ate it with hot sauce, and a purple yam flower bun-delicious but know that the bread consistency might not be what you're used to? It's a very moist dense dough. The lady had a genuinely welcoming smile. The shop was easy to find. I found parking quickly. There is one table, maybe two. It's more of a carry-out place. I will be back.“

“I was heading to an appointment but I could smell the spices in the air. This was a major surprise. Quick service and flavorful food, with a fusion of Habesha and American cuisine. Truly a hidden gem in Silver Spring!!“

“Literally so cute and the food/drinks were SO GOOD! The owners were very sweet. I got a hot chocolate and a Nutella and banana crepe and both were absolutely amazing. The hot chocolate was creamy and chocolatey and it was also the perfect temperature. I recommend adding whip cream as it really elevated the flavor with the contrasting temperatures. My friend got a turkey and cheese crepe and a caramel Frappuccino, both of which were very tasty. The savory crepe was super yummy and the caramel Frappuccino was sweet and frozen/creamy. Overall 10/10 and I definitely want to come back in the future.“

“Thank you for opening an outpost 10 minutes from my house. Service is always great and love the food. Today I had the Bacado Omelet which was great. Also took an order of the Lemon Blueberry Cornbread to go. It’s something for the table to share - or if you’re solo to eat over 3 or 4 days.

I frequently get the Traditional. Friends love the Lemon Ricotta pancakes.

Servers are terrific. Always friendly and welcoming.“

“Open on Saturdays now!Best food in the whole area. Fast food and great prices for quality food is hard to find. Love the crab food items especially the cream of crab soup they do once a week sometimes. Big fresh chunks. Man. So good.“

“I love this place! Small locally-owned cafe with a full service coffee bar where you can get lattes, etc. Coffee is great, sandwiches are great, and I love the Korean bulgogi bowls for lunch. They also do a really delicious breakfast burrito. Nice place to stop into on the way to work or for a quick lunch, and it’s fast.“

“This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven't been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.

This a solid place for your essential breakfast and lunch. I try to always support local and small businesses.“

“Starbucks does everything well, except those boxes of coffee, which, when ordered, are never done on time. Their one mystery. Oh, that and running out of the little green stoppers.....Otherwise, they're the best coffee company in the world....“

“been a Panera fan for a while so I expect a good experience, but at this point I don’t really expect to be impressed. This particular location has become a regular spot for me. The staff there is consistently friendly and my orders are accurate 99.99% of the time. I often get veggie sandwiches and I really appreciate that they are generous with the veggies. That .01% where I did have an issue, I called and spoke with the manager Evan and he immediately offered to fix it Another manager was on duty when I went in, but there was no hassle and she went above and beyond to make it right. I’ve also encountered other managers/leads who also seem eager to just take care of you. It’s an attitude that trickles down to the cashiers, the prep and the cleaning staff as well. Because of my background, I’m pretty sensitive to customer service and I notice the extra efforts they take to make customers feel special (not just me). That said, I have to say they’ve impressed me over the past few months.“

“I admire this place! They serve sensational dishes, their menu is varied, The chef in that spot is an expert, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently tasty, the attitude towards the customers is helpful. I often go to this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.“

“Wow! We ate here as a family, party of 9. It was my fathers first time eating Ethiopian food. This was by far THE BEST ETHIOPIAN food we have had in the DMV! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with amazing service, accommodated for our large party and assisting my father with handicapped access. They served us delicious homemade chips and the food was mouth watering. We ordered two larger platters and every bite was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Very fresh food and my dad was very impressed with his experience. We topped off our meal with yummy desserts! We will be back soon, I highly recommend eating here.“

“Although the place doesn't have the word "vegan" anywhere on the menu, they in fact have several vegan pastries, including baklava, napolean and millefeuille. They also have some vegan cakes (slices and full cakes) including black forest, mocha and more, and they even have some vegan cookies. The cashier confirmed that they don't use honey; they make their own sweet syrup which was reported to be vegan. All pastries I have tried have been delicious!
