“Cool concept it’s like +6 kitchens in 1. They offer a lot of different promos on social media. From Alana pizza, I ordered the burrata and the bacon pesto pizza. The burrata was really fresh and I enjoyed the pesto pizza. From Di Fara pizza, I ordered the pepperoni, sausage and meatball pizza. Not sure if it was dough or the pizza was undercooked, but I wish there was more of a crisp to the crust. I found myself chewing longer than expected.

Location was really clean and ordering via the app was easy. There’s plenty of street parking around the shopping center. Prices are high for the area. I would definitely be back to try some of the other restaurants.“

“My friend and I arrived for brunch earlier today, and our experience was outstanding! We both enjoyed our meals tremendously. The serving size was such that we both had enough left over for the next day. Our servers, Jamari and Jamaal were top notch. They provided us with a balance of dedicated service without being overbearing. I definitely plan a return visit. Hopefully, I'll get the same servers, although from what I observed, all of the servers were excellent!“

“One of the best coffee shops in DC and definitely a favorite of mine. I find myself coming back all the time. The orange raspadura latte is a must, and they have the best carajillos in the Union Market area. The customer service is always great, too.

They also have a really reasonably priced happy hour, especially for DC. Great coffee, great drinks, and consistently a good experience. I haven’t tried any food yet but can vouch for the drinks. Highly recommend!“

“Sylvan Cafe has a quiet and quaint atmosphere with lovely jazz playing in the background. The staff is very kind and lovely and the food comes out fast.

The food is amazing and I mean really good for the price. 17 dollars for a veggie platter, is an amazing deal and the quality is out of this world it tastes delicious. Would recommend for anyone passing by in the neighborhood to stop by and support this small business.“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). “Now here is a hidden gem that is worth finding! I was craving a sandwich but I also need it to have gluten free bread. I searched and found this wonderful little cafe tucked into an office building. Our sandwiches were ordered online and when we arrived they were hot and fresh. Everyone in the cafe was so friendly and we had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We will definitely be back.“

“Staff and baker were both so kind and welcoming to all who walked in. Some regulars they clearly acknowledged. It didn’t matter what one purchased. And calmly efficient to get everyone in/out. Patrons were also so wonderful, clearly a neighborhood gem. DC is still a city of people trying to hurry along, so I am not expecting lingering and community chit chats. Also around it are few hotels. Now the baked goods, one of the best chocolate croissant, orange scone and the banana chocolate loaf (I slathered it with some peanut butter for protein and that made it even more elevated). The egg sandwich with fresh focaccia a mist try on the spot. I would totally nominate them for an award. No fancy baked goods but that is why it is such a gem.“

“Exactly what I was looking for my remote work day. I got a little table in the corner with a plug and the london fog and pastries were excellent. Even with the high ceilings the space was not excessively loud where I was sitting, and there are both cubbies for focused work and larger tables and larger parties.“

It’s never disappointed me and the staff have always been accommodating when I make a mistake in my words, and very in and out— quick with giving you food and drinks to let you go on your merry way! Everything else was great, I had a omlette and it was delicious and very well prepared. Our only complaint was the A/C, it was pumping, luckily I had (2) light jackets in my car. I noticed the couple next to us went to his car and got an sweatshirt for his Mom. It was just a bit cold, but I would deal with that versus A/C is broken. “My wife and I visited here several times during our trip to Washington DC for breakfast.

We both enjoyed the coffee and the relaxing atmosphere.

Two times I had ham and cheese omelets, and one time my wife had a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough bread. The meals were very delicious and you can see them preparing the meals too.

The dining room was very clean and quiet enough for conversation.“

“Big Bear was the best wedding venue we could have asked for. Between the atmosphere, the staff, Bri Hartmann, the amazing Event Manager, our night was beautiful. Bri made us feel so important throughout the entire process, she kept us informed, listened to our vision, and kept us calm as we tried not to freak out about the weather. And even beyond the basics, Big Bear made sure that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Big Bear was incredibly accommodating to the various accessibility needs of our guests, and never once made us feel like a burden. The venue is beautiful, especially in the spring and we got so many compliments about how perfect the space was for us, how delicious the food was (especially the cookies), and how well executed every detail was. Being able to have our ceremony and reception in one incredible spot was truly the icing on the (wedding) cake. Big Bear was prepared with a rain plan that worked for us and we cannot recommend it enough.“

“This has been my go to place for lunch when in DC. I love the sampler platter with food representing the cuisine of the different native cultures in various geographic areas of the continent. They reflect how the peoples incorporated the available fish and animals and the types of grain and vegetation into their meals. Not inexpensive but a cultural as well as a gustatory experience.“

Vigia was sweet, patient and a very welcoming employee at the register. I got the chicken Milano and it was 10/10. I ate it there and got a small sandwich to go (ham and Swiss) and couldn't have been happier with my early morning dining experience. The place is quiet and located in an office building. I have to try the rest of the menu..especially the bulgogi special. Whomever is behind this concept has done an excellent job and the employees are great at what they do.“

“Atmosphere is 6 stars. 90s / 2000s R&B jams wtih background video. Great food: the wraps are really good; steak & chimichurri bowl/wrap my favorite. The coffee is good and crazy cool selection of different coffee mixes if that's your thing. I bring my dog during the workday and he enjoys the ambience as well.“

“The staff at the Laurel First Watch are so wonderful. The hostess with glasses is always very friendly and upbeat, I once saw her doing sick yo-yo tricks for a child to make them smile. It made us smile too. One of the waitresses always recognizes us and gives us a warm welcome. Every staff member we have interacted with has been so friendly, and our order always comes out perfect & in a timely manner.

“La Colombe has been one of my favorite coffee shops ever since I was introduced to it in Philadelphia. Every time I visit, the coffee is consistently excellent.

This Washington, DC location was no exception. The apple Danish was fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious, pairing perfectly with the coffee. The shop has a nice atmosphere, and the service was great as well.

Overall, it’s a wonderful place for coffee and a pastry. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.“
