Big Bear Cafe is a charming neighborhood spot with a warm atmosphere that’s perfect for gathering with family and friends. The cafe offers great coffee, including popular options like Latte, Cappuccino, and macchiato. Customers enjoy delicious food such as the breakfast burrito and cinnamon pastry, with the sopressata pizza being a highlight. The cafe features ample covered outdoor seating and a cozy upstairs area suitable for larger groups. The outdoor space is heated and dog-friendly, making it welcoming for everyone. The setting is very cute, with vines on the outside that give it an Italian vibe, and inside, there are nice wooden tables. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always smiling when guests arrive. Occasionally, local musicians perform, adding to the charming vibe. The café is a good place to hang out or get work done, with both indoor and outdoor spaces that are great for relaxing. Customers appreciate the affordable prices compared to other Washington DC spots, though some mention that food can be a bit overpriced for what it is. Overall, Big Bear Cafe provides a delightful experience with friendly service, tasty treats, and a cozy atmosphere.
