“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)“

The decor brightened an otherwise gloomy and stormy day. The service was efficient and friendly. Menu labeled for dietary restrictions and can ask server for help. The food (brunch prix fixe with burrata (no bread) and steak eggs) had the right flavors to waken the palate and satisfy the soul and the stomach. Kudos to the right amount of salt on each dish to highlight all the deliciousness. Cantaloupe to Spain was a balanced cocktail with unique flavors and smooth to drink.

Overall a memorable brunch experience and I'll be recommending to friends in and out of DC. Look forward to coming back.“

“We chose Bistro du Jour at the Royal Sonesta because we needed an ADA-accessible restaurant and bathroom, convenient parking, delicious food, a sophisticated atmosphere for a family dinner, and a place where we could actually have a conversation. Boy, did they deliver! The space is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous floral arrangements that deserve an 11/10. The lounge area behind the bar is particularly sexy and charming—an excellent spot for a date night. The restaurant, service, and ambiance were all lovely, but the food exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality and setting. The menu offered some intriguing options, including raspberry macarons with chicken liver and fig jam, alongside classic French favorites like escargot, bouillabaisse, steak frites, and boeuf bourguignon. Our party of eight happily devoured everything and thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. It can be difficult to find a restaurant that combines accessibility, an elegant atmosphere, excellent service, outstanding food, and reasonable prices. Bistro du Jour checked every box. “I'm from Texas and have been dying to find a breakfast taco spot. I might as well have been in my mom's kitchen, eating tacos on a Sunday morning. that's how amazing La Tejana tacos are!“

“If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.) This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast. It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather. The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.“

“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.“

“I had a wonderful time at Casamara! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the music was fantastic. We were seated at the front, where the atmosphere was excellent. Our waiter was incredible and did more than was expected to make my friend's birthday special; she was very attentive during the whole meal and offered us excellent wine recommendations. All aspects of the food, the service and the general atmosphere were perfect. It's definitely a place I'd recommend if you wanted to have a fun night out or mark a special occasion!“

“The music is fine and it plays to a level that allows conversation, there are seats outside for those who like to be al fresco early in the morning. I like the lighting and there is a combination of live plants and an artificial garland inside. I had the ube cake, croissants, the savory bun and they were great. I'm not a fan of donuts but friends rave about them. The coffee is excellent. If you eat in place they serve the pastries on China plates. Do you have a sweet tooth ? Try the vietnamese coffee. Black coffee is your choice - drip, expresso iced and hot are fine and mellow. There is an interesting choice of teas too. When it comes to the banana cinnamon cookie, not so great, took a bite and the prevalent taste was baking soda. Nice touch to combine salt and sweet on the cookie but the baking soda ruins everything. Tried the cookie at the other end and it had no cinnamon flavor. Stick to pastries and you will be safe. Should have got the hojicha roll not the cinnamon cookie but this will be for next time.“

“We loved having dinner so much on Friday night that we had lunch on Saturday! Lobster roll was delicious. Great selection of raw oysters. PEI mussels were the best! Service was on point. Friday night Ashley was great and sorry I didn’t get our great servers name on Saturday. Manager Ronald Vasquez was so personable and made us feel like regulars. Wish we lived a bit closer because we would be. Highly recommend!“

We were treated to a serving of kheer for dessert - creamy and cardamom-y. My friend really enjoyed her vegetable korma, saying it was maybe the best she’s ever had. My sister-in-law had the avocado salad. I would come here at 10 out of 10 a time every single time and don’t forget to ask for Dylan as your waiter. It was amazing. And order the Mojito!“
