“Really delicious and awesome vibe! This is a creative Asian place where I would say noodles are their forte. The area is really small and cozy, with great decor. They only seat about 20 people at a time in their space, so I would reserve or come early. We came as they opened and were seated as a party of 5.For food, LOVE the brontosaurus! The broth is excellent and rich but too too rich, nicely smoked ribs, excellent selection of side veggies and the noodles had a great texture. The noodles in the mazemans were the same noodles as the brontosaurus, but the mazeman has no broth and so I prefer the brontosaurus. The ribs in the brontosaurus could’ve been more tender but I still loved it overall! Pork buns were good as well. Beautiful presentation and great taste on all! And nice edgy underground atmosphere/decor and reasonable prices.Vegetarian options: Mushroom ramen“

“Kudos to Byron and the staff behind the bar for their impeccable service! This place is my go to for brunch and happy hour so I was happy to return for brunch and even more happier with my meal selections. The ambiance is perfect for date night, drinks with coworkers, or friends-it welcomes all! I regularly order tostones because they're so succulent and once again, it did not miss! The lechon hash was a new order: braised pork, ají panca, onions, crispy potatoes, and poached egg (menu description) This dish packed so many flavors! The braised pork was perfectly seasoned and the sauce covered the crispy potatoes without making them soggy, it was like culinary magic! What I didn't like was the poached egg because it was hard lol so hard that it rolled off the potatoes when I touched it. Dessert was my all time fav, the con leche cheesecake and as always, that was a hit! The sangria is worth the buy every time as are their mimosas. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend them for quality food and drinks.“

“Amazonia is a great bar/restaurant. Daniel was a great server and recommended great veggie options. The food and drinks came out promptly with great presentation and the upstairs staff was all really friendly. Can’t say the same for the downstairs hostess who wouldn’t let me go up to Amazonia without asking her and then couldn’t find my reservation after asking me the details 3 times and not being able to pull it up. After she pulled it up she said none of my party was there even though everyone but me was there. Maybe it’s a communication thing between upstairs and downstairs but for such an expensive restaurant, the hostess shouldn’t try and fight you as you’re walking in.“

“Service is very attentive, if not completely knowledgeable of what exactly their menu offerings are trying to achieve (it's kind of a blend of local with New Orleans, we gathered). We are not huge fans of several of the menu offerings, so of course, our ratings reflect that. Oysters, duck, and several N.O. options were just not our thing. We were mostly there for the drinks & ambiance, which were top shelf. Bottom line, go for the traditional & reimagined Louisiana fare, excellent libations and good times.“

“My partner and I walked in at 6:30 PM on a busy Friday night without a reservation (I didn’t realize they had started taking reservations!) The host said the only options were bar seating or outdoor seating under heat lamps. We didn’t really want either of those options, but understood that since we didn’t have a reservation, we could not be very choosy. The host then kept looking at his reservation app and offered us a very nice table as long as we could be finished by 8:30 PM. We said that two hours is plenty of time! He said he felt bad that there wasn’t room for us but we assured him this was perfect and we would definitely be finished by the time he needed the table back. He was so kind and accomodating. I had the pad see ew and spicy eggplant. Both were very good. Dine in: I came in for lunch yesterday and had a good experience. I ordered a Thai tea and pad Thai noodles. The Thai tea was delicious and the pad Thai was also very good. The pad Thai did taste slightly burnt but not so much so that i didn't enjoy the dish. Pad Thai 4/5 Thai tea: 5/5 Ambiance: clean. Service: good. It wasn't busy so there's one FOH person. He handled front desk, serving and to go orders just fine. He checked on me throughout my time there. Menu: they do NOT have a lunch menu. I read from previous yelpers that they ordered off the lunch menu, but unfortunately they don't have a lunch menu anymore. Other: i came in to eat and work, but right now they do not have WiFi. “Second time to Ceibo and it once again did not disappoint. Start first with the excellent, interesting, and perfectly made craft cocktails. Next move on to the food, everything is exceptional and intriguing. It's hard not to order the entire menu. You can't quite place the food concept; part Latin flavors, part Italian, part Asian, but how this team has put it together just works. Each dish is beautifully plated and with appropriate portions for a filling meal. Everyone reported their dishes to be both delicious and unexpected. One of the most exciting food experiences in DC right now. Last, the restaurant itself is minimalist, but reminded me of a hip restaurant in Mexico City. The tables are nicely spaced apart so you don't feel you are eating with your neighbors and the noise level is lively but not loud, so you can have a relaxed conversation with your dinner mates. The dining space is split between an upper level and a lover level. The bar is on the lower level, so feels a bit more lively than the upper level. All around a wonderful experience and a fantastic addition to the AdMo/DC dining scene.“

“Absolutely amazing experience! I almost never write reviews, but this place was so incredible that I had to this time.We went on a Friday night and did the 7-course tasting menu and drink pairing at the chef's counter. I'm sure it's not part of the experience every time, but it actually turned into about a 9-course tasting because they served some extras not on the menu that they were excited to share. Every aspect was incredible.Starting off, before we even arrived, with personalized contact from Brian to ensure that they knew everything from our names, if it was special occasion, dietary restrictions, etc. It was clear they wanted to make sure it was a special experience for us before we even stepped foot in the restaurant. On arrival the environment was incredible and the whole staff was friendly and consistently went out of their way to make the evening memorable. The food was, of course, incredible. But even more enjoyable was the detailed explanation of both the food we were being served and the wine choices for pairing. We learned a lot about how they prepared the food, where the ingredients were locally sourced from, etc. Not only was it informative, but their true passion for the quality of what they were serving really shined through.Just as top notch as the food, the service was incredible. They were true professionals that knew exactly how to strike the balance between being highly attentive without interfering with our date. The pacing of the servings was absolutely spot on. We neither had to wait between courses nor had courses stacking up. Everything was executed flawlessly.Hands down the best dining experience I've ever had. “Absolutely delicious cocktails and the seasonal drinks were so fun to try out! The tater tots were a tasty snack and would definitely recommend. What impressed me most was the customer service from the time we entered til we left - had a small hiccup with our reservation and the staff did everything they could to go above and beyond to make it right and I really appreciated their efforts. We had such a great time and can't wait to be back!“

“This is intelligent and well thought-out food that is delivered with kindness and engagement. Truffle dumplings with a corn foam were genius. Terrific vegetarian drunken noodles. And silken tofu in a complex fermented black-bean broth that made me see through time. My wife's cocktail had a tiny touch of a Chinese cough syrup in it, which sounds funky and was, instead, kinda transcendent! We sat at the bar and watched the passionate precision of the kitchen. Bartender was super friendly. Great evening that we hope to repeat soon. Keep up the great work!!“

The outdoor seatings are not too conjusted so that you dont have to worry about what others might hear of your business dealings.Food is good but not exceptional (not that i was there for), the drinks menu are seriously unique and i cant wait to go back to try the rest.“

“If I could give this place 100/5 I would. Went for a drink, stayed for 3 hours. Luke is the best bartender both in the drinks he makes but also helping find the right cocktail for your mood. Even gave us a few small samples of the drinks on tap to try beforehand.GET THE RHUBARB SODA it might change your life. Most of the people at the bar with us were locals and regulars. Very cute decor as well.Small spot so limited seating. If you want to go for dinner recommend getting a reservation ahead of time.If I lived here I’d have my name engraved on a stool.“
