“Had a great Saturday night before a holiday party. Service at the bar was excellent. Four starts because the menu could use a few more vegetable options. Smoked fish dip was too creamy and that drowned the taste of the dish in the dip. Oysters were insanely good.
That said, cocktails and the bartender were excellent. Beautiful decor too.“

“Food was exceptional. Very interesting flavors. My wife and I were blown away by the food quality. Portions are small, but that allowed us to try a lot. (Drinks are also small.) Service and staff were great.
Keep in mind they automatically add 22% gratuity to your bill.
We will absolutely be back the next time we are in D.C.“

“I’ve dined at Michelin-starred restaurants across the globe, and Black Salt stands out as exceptional! From the exquisite food to the impeccable service, everything was top-notch. JJ, who oversees the front of the house, demonstrates an extraordinary attention to detail. Our server, Tom, was an absolute delight—knowledgeable, attentive, and a true professional.“

“The food was extremely delicious, tasty with flavor. Whoever is cooking is putting their soul into making those dishes because it was so good that it made me want to visit Mexico. Next time we're in DC, we're definitely coming back.“

“This is probably the best pasta I’ve had in DC. I’ve been here twice for dinner now, and the pastas were all great. We got a few smaller portions - the alla norma, taglioni, rigatoni, and agnolotti - all were good. We also tried the sfincione [we are both Sicilian], which was OK but not really a sfincione. Good wine selection and great espresso martinis too. Will return.“

“OMG!!! GO TO STAN'S!!! If you can hold your drinks, this is the place to go!!! And ask for JOEY, if he's off...make them call him in!! 😂😂 He's great!!! I had a Washington Apple, Ciroc Obama (don't be political about this, this drink is freaking Fire!!! FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥), and the Lemon Drop (with Patron). SOOOOO smooth!!! My friend had the Spicy Mango Margarita (Joey's concoction) and it was amazing!! We also had the wings and they were Chef's kiss!!! Seasoned and all!! This needs to be your 1st, no exceptions!!! And ask for Joey!!! This will get your trip on the right track...... GUARANTEED!!!“

“We celebrated our 12th year wedding anniversary here, and it was the most amazing dinner. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the diligence of the staff (especially Michael and Devon). We laughed all night long. We also had the honor of meeting the humble Chef Danny Lledó, who curated the AMAZING 10-course meal and wine pairing. Can we talk about how delicious the food is? The BEST ever. We ended the evening with Paulina in the mezzanine. Perfect finish. We cannot thank the chef and staff enough. We will not forget this experience. We can’t wait to come back.“

“Drinks and food were great. My only complaint is the starter salads. My $18 salad was a head of lettuce, 4 walnuts, and a single piece of blue cheese. The Cesar salad looked ok. My friend ordered the only other salad on the menu for $16 and got a head of lettuce with a singular piece of parmesean on top of it. It was honestly a bit funny. Other then that the salmon, steak, calamari and wine were great.“

“I took my teenage boys here on our last night in DC during spring break. The staff is absolutely wonderful, so friendly, kind, fun, energetic, and genuine. The food is completely amazing and all three of us loved everything we ate (scallops, filet, chicken) but it was very much the staff that made the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommended. Beautiful restaurant.“

“Had an early dinner, and I love this place and definitely will come again!! Even though my first language isn't English, and sightseeing by myself, alone, the GREAT waiters at the bar were very kind and polite to me. LOVE the atmosphere, the oysters were delicious, and so were the cocktails.“

“Really nice place to eat. Ambience was ideal, I don't know how I feel about patrons dressed in shirts and sandals though. Food was excellent except that our food was barely even lukewarm. So it most have been sitting for awhile. The crispy duck was delicious, my wife had the surf and turf (lobster tail and filet mignon) it was decent. The sauce on the lobster was a little off putting. Our waitress provided us with superior service, unfortunately her name slips my mind I think Nikki maybe.... We went for our anniversary but I do believe we shall be going again.“

“Backed by Clyde’s reputation (and finances), Cordelia did it right. Stefano took care of me at the bar and is a seasoned professional. Explained the restaurant’s approach, menu, and fun facts plus chatted with me appropriately throughout the dinner. Their happy hour is unparalleled and I got a decent rum punch cocktail (not pre-made) with 12 delicious oysters, a hamachi crudo (that was wildly on point), and jumbo raw shrimp for well under $100. Couldn’t recommend this spot enough and will return.“

“I went to Hen Quarter Prime for Brunch on a Sunday and the food at the buffet was great, the only thing I wish was the crab legs were steamed instead of being on ice. But I understand that is difficult to do for a buffet setup. Z gave amazing service, my cup for the bottomless mimosa stayed runneth over. I will definitely be returning.“

“Went to watch a DC United game and stopped by for dinner before so as it was super close, was greeted and treated amazingly all throughout dinner, had the burger and the caesar salad to split with my wife and we didnt even get to finish the salad as it was such a nice portion and with such fresh products , the burger was also lovely on presentation and taste and it came along a side of fries that I think I've never tasted any better anywhere else
Thank you for a wonderful meal!“

“It's wonderful to find a little piece of your culture in Washington DC. After walking around the city on Christmas Eve, coming across this restaurant and tasting a delicious meal that transported me to Madrid was the best Christmas gift I have ever received.“

“H&D never disappoints. The food is tasty. The cashier was friendly (a rarity these days). The cook was considerate in venting the container so the fried items stayed crispy. I (and many colleagues) were regulars at the Northeast location. I am so glad there is location so near me now.“

“we went to the Vegas location and how Gordon Ramsay can put his name to the crap this place serves up is beyond belief. the batter is way to thick and over cooked and the highlight should not be the Dijon mayonnaise that comes with the food. terrible food and a waste of $39“

“Walked to this little place from Watergate hotel. Definitely worth the walk.
The staff working there were super friendly and you can tell immediately that your happiness was at the center of their attention. Special shout out to the waitress Sarah, super attentive, nothing but smiles and really looking to give lots of customer care and attention.
I initially ordered a shrimp wrap and maine lobster. Both of which, juicy, and add on the dip and it was perfect. Got the hush puppies on the side with the lobster per their recommendation, first time I can say I actually liked hushpuppies. Mellow sweetness and crunchy.
Great price for what you're getting.
Finished up my food and was feeling so comfortable I decided to order a crabcake as well. I was thrown off a bit just by the fact it came as a sandwich but it was a welcome surprise.
The only reason the atmosphere isn't a 5 is because otherwise this glowing review wouldn't be believable.
P.S. - pardon my poor camera skills as it doesn't do the food justice. If anything, let that attest to this authentic review as I don't take frequent foodie pictures.“
“Solid & tasty tacos and other fixings, but small portions for the prices. The staff was mostly nice but also seemed to mostly ignore me as a customer even though I ordered two rounds of food. Overall I’d say very similar experience to La Neta in Stockholm, but for twice the price. I wouldn’t rush back.“

“I stopped by Dionne’s for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no line. The food came out within 10 minutes. I got the sliders and the crab fries. The crab fries were loaded and the sliders were delicious. The price was also right as this came in just under $20 with tip.“

“My daughter and son-in-law treated me for my birthday and what a treat it was! From the birthday champagne treat to the special popcorn to the dessert and all meals in between—nothing disappointed. The food was delicious. Filet mignon prepared to perfection. Lamb chops, braised beef, shrimp—all delicious. The sides; I could go on. My husband also enjoyed his meal. Our particular teenaged granddaughter loved her chicken tenders. Even our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal. Definitely will return. This was our first time but it won’t be our last. And last but not least—our server, Micaiah, was the best. Her recommendations were on point. Top notch and so professional!“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Limani for their brunch, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic meal. The brunch spread at Limani was truly impressive. They had a wide variety of options, ranging from fresh lobster and succulent oysters to delectable shrimp and grits. It was a seafood lover's dream come true! The quality of the seafood was exceptional, and each dish was prepared with great attention to detail. One of the highlights of the brunch was the made-to-order station, where I could customize my own french toast and omelettes. The chefs were skilled and accommodating, ensuring that every dish was cooked to perfection. However, what truly stole the show for me were the baklava pancakes. The combination of the fluffiness of the pancakes with the sweet and nutty flavors of baklava was simply divine. It was a unique twist on a classic breakfast item that left me craving for more. To complement the scrumptious food, Limani offered bottomless mimosas, which were a true delight. Served in elegant glasses, the mimosas were perfectly balanced and refreshing. They added an extra touch of indulgence to the already incredible brunch experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Limani for brunch. The quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the inviting ambiance all contributed to a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their menu. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking for a delicious brunch, Limani is definitely a place worth trying.“

“I'll start out with saying this is not a traditional dim sum restaurant so this review is not to compare it to places like China Garden or AJs. Han Palace's all you can eat option is called their tasting menu and I think THAT is an accurate description.
And I really enjoyed it!! For $35pp, you can get a lot of solid options for dumplings, noodles, fried rice and congee. For the two of us, I thought that was the best deal. Option B is $48 and opens access to their whole menu to include their roast items which is great. I would only do this option if I was very hungry or if I had a larger group as I don't think I would have been able to eat my money's worth.
I won't list everything we tried but I will say their dumplings were acceptable but not as good as traditional dim sum places. We tried their beef dry chow and the veg lo mein and both were excellent.
Service was quick, not un-friendly, and the ambiance was adorable. Will definitely be back and with friends!!“
