There was a mice running back and forth. The manager on duty was informed and his first words were you gonna still pay the bill. She paid the bill in full. My daughter was crying and traumatized because she has never experienced anything like this and it was her 30th bday celebration. Who wants to see a mice running around while eating? Based on the reviews, Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab offers a wonderful dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious, with specific meals like the crab cake, calamari, crab flight, gratin potatoes, crab fried rice, and brie mac and cheese being fresh and delicious. For mains, the lobster scampi is rich and flavorful, the steak frites is very good, the branzino is the best in a long time, and the lobster pasta is excellent. The cocktails are amazing, especially the “Voilà!” and the Mother’s Day special cocktail. Desserts like the key lime pie, blueberry bread pudding, and a complimentary Baked Alaska with a tableside presentation are great for sharing. The service is fantastic, with servers who are welcoming, attentive, and provide excellent service. The atmosphere is good, with a cozy booth and gorgeous ambiance. However, parking in DC is terrible, adding cost and time, and sometimes entrees come before appetizers are finished. Overall, it is a great experience worth every penny.
