“I went with a friend to The Capital Burger on Newbury last week. The space was clean and comfortable, our server was really friendly, and the food came out fast. Great experience—I’d come back without a second thought.“

“The smash burgers and fries are indeed delicious! The special sauce they serve is to die for! And the staff genuinely care about their customer and their restaurant. I was disappointed that they had no lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, or salt, and that they charge for extra sauce (I was using it on my fries). The friendly, handsome cashier gave my friend and I cards for free burgers and asked that I leave a review, which showed they care about their customers having a great experience and appreciate the feedback. Oh yeah, I thought the smashburger should be listed as such on the menu, and that they should be either bigger or cheaper. Over all I'd give them a 4.5!“

“My girlfriend and I went here three days in a row 🤣 it’s the best burger in the DMV in my opinion, as someone who was born and raised in the area. The smash burgers are so fresh and loaded with the house-made sauce, onions, pickles, and tomatoes, and served on a fluffy bun. Highly recommend the savory truffle sauce for the fries. Get the double patty burger and you gotta try the ube soft serve. Will definitely come back. Just wish there were more seating inside, but there’s parks nearby where you can eat so it’s not too bad“

“Had 1 buffalo chicken pizza and 1 meatballs pizza with fries. My only issue is the meatballs had zero favor but then the fries saved the day. I almost turned around in a storm to get more fries. No one else is allowed to order fries anymore. MINES😆“

I often get nervous allowed my daughter to use public restrooms, but this one was very clean and Kia stood at the door while I went in to assit my daughter to clean herself and get dress. She really cares. The food was good but the customer service was excellent. This was our first time in the DC area. We will definitely come back here on out next trip here.“

Our food was a little slow to come out, but without even having to bring it to their attention, they apologized and comped us 2 drinks. When the food did arrive, it was absolutely delicious. The sliders were juicy, and if you get them, make sure you order the fries because the seasoning is divine. Also really loved the fried green tomatoes! We had a lovely time!“

“A place that has a simple menu but executes it well. You can get a single or double and burgers come with house sauce, grilled onions, cheese and pickles. Cheese was gooey, house sauce was nice and the fries were hot and crispy. It’s definitely a basic setup but the music was good and there is a decent amount of seating.“

Far better than a chain steakhouse like a Jeff Ruby or Del Frisco, steak is actually juicy and flavorful. It was hot in the restuarant but they are doing renovations next door so the AC isn't working. They do have outdoor seating which was a lot cooler. The food and milkshakes will not disappoint!“

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“10/10 experience at Wingos in Georgetown! We stopped in well after 1 a.m. and everything was still fresh, hot, flavorful, and made with care. We ordered the 8-piece wing combo with two different flavors, seasoned fries, and a drink, and everything was delicious.

OB, the owner, gave phenomenal service and really knew the menu inside and out—from the specials to the flavor options and recommendations. DJ, the cook, even hand-delivered our food, which made the experience feel extra personal and welcoming.

The wings were perfectly seasoned, the fries were excellent, the portions were satisfying, and the customer service was top-tier from start to finish. Great food, great energy, and even better hospitality.
