“All I can say is the only thing better than the outstanding food is the incredible customer service. The next time we are on DC, I will go out if my way to visit one of the locations.“

“Genuinely super delicious and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients!! Definitely will be coming back. Such a simple menu, but it’s working in their favor! The space is on the smaller side but they have an adorable outdoor seating. I also love how kid-friendly the place was , including allowing kids to draw to decorate the space! Staff were also super friendly and it just feel a like a great local spot, that I hope is here for as long as possible.“

“Always busy, but seriously the best burger in town (if not the world), so it's worth the wait. I grew up on Good Stuff burgers and shakes. The Prez Obama burger (I think now known as the Prez Burger) with house fries (rosemary and all things delicious) with a toasted marshmallow shake (or cherry blossom if it's in season) is to DIE for. Also Spike's Sunnyside burger is delicious. Highly highly recommend for tourists looking for a dope local find.“

“Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

“Good evening, We ate at your facility on Sunday evening. I ordered a Lancaster burger on gluten free roll. My husband ordered the OK burger. I have to tell you that I am soooo thankful that we ate there. The burger with the gf roll was phenomenal! The roll didn’t fall apart, it had delicious taste and the burger was perfect. I have celiac’s disease so sometimes it’s a little hard for me to eat out & not worry about cross contamination. But your facility is fantastic! Thank you so much!“

“One of the best restaurants I've been to in my 34 years of life. Visited January 2017 and still remember my experience. The food was very delicious and generously portioned. My personal favorite dishes were the nachos and crab cakes. I remember that the service was excellent. We were seated in minutes, and it was still very busy. All and all I highly recommend this restaurant and I cannot wait to go back for all their great dishes/service“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“

“Love it, a great spot with character, good burgers and chicken sandwiches, and a fantastic beer list.
Bonus points for playing interesting movies and music that doesn’t rely on an algorithm!
Kid-friendliness: They have kids sliders and chicken tenders, just not seen on the main menu I think. They’re always great to our kids. And kids generally love rock music, which is what goes on here. Go before 8-ish, I think bands play after 9 or so.“

“This place is all about burgers, but I usually seem to come here during happy hour, which goes a little longer than most places (until 7, I believe). Nice outdoor space with good people-watching on 18th Street in Adams Morgan.
Happy hour has good drink deals and a few smaller versions of regular menu items, if I remember correctly. The mumbo nugs absolutely "slap" as the kids say. Think they're cooked in a sweet Thai chili sauce and come with mint leaves and cilantro and crushed peanuts. For someone who's spent a lot of time in SE Asia and whose favorite cuisine is Thai, I absolutely love these.
Fries are big ol' steak/diner fries and come with a delicious vinegar cream kinda sauce.
Last night I got a burger for only the second or third time and maybe I was especially hungry and/or the perfect amount of buzzed, or just happy to find a place still serving food at 10:00 on Thanksgiving weekend, but it was quite simply one of the best burgers I've ever had. I asked them to surprise me with their best chicken burger and they served up a "mumbo bun." It's the best burger I've had in DC for sure. I've heard a few people grumble about having to pay extra for fries, but the burgers are absolutely huge and have so much going on with them flavor-wise that I was glad I didn't order fries and could barely finish the burger on its own.
I've lived in the neighborhood for a few years now and overlooked this place until recently. Now it's one of my go-to spots. Nice people working there, friendly service, and they knock the food out of the park.
Parking: Might be tough to find parking right on 18th Street, but go up the side street (the restaurant's on a corner but can't remember what the intersecting street is) and you can probably find free street parking.“

“I'm still thinking about my burger 6 hours later so I figured I'd write a review. This place is so cool! The outside seating area is beautiful. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered and our food came out very quickly. My burger (the De-Lux) was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, and I literally can't stop thinking about it. I also recommend the fries, they're huge and they have a bunch of different flavors. I'm definitely going to be coming here next time I'm in the Wharf area. AND it didn't even break the bank.“
“The price for a burger, side, and regular milkshake was around $27 with tax. I ordered the limited time Southwest Burger, which came with chili and cheese; the chili cheese tater tots; and the pistachio milkshake. The food was about on-par with BGR and Five Guys in terms of freshness of ingredients and taste. The burger was run-of-the-mill, and I was surprised that the burger came with pepperjack & chili rather than the nacho cheese & chili that were on the tater tots.Overall, the experience was good, but there are better burger joints for the price.
Vegetarian options: Wayback Burgers does have vegan/vegetarian options with the Impossible Burger.
Wheelchair accessibility: The building and eating area has full wheelchair accessibility.“
“The rooftop setting is lovely especially at sunset. We went on a Friday. There was a band playing street level that you could hear from the rooftop - wasn't our genre. Later, there was jazz on the roof which we enjoyed but it could interfere with conversation. Food was uneven. The crab appetizer was yummy as were pizza and burger. Salad and pasta just OK. Margarita was good. Service was uneven. Our server was very rushed and forgot items (had to ask twice for a beer ordered after meal was served and finally got it at the bar) and left us unattended. Think he was covering too many tables and just needed to slow down a bit. Did not inform us that 20% is automatically added to bill but we noticed it. Despite that, it's a great spot for a drink and apps, pizza to share. As our friend said, it doesn't feel like DC, more like Miami.“

“I've been here several times right before/after a ballgame at Nats park. It's the traditional Shake Shack if you know what to expect. For those who don't, they have pretty good fast food burgers and crinkle cut fries. Their burger sauce is very good!“

“This was my first time ordering from 7th Street Burger. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries through Uber Eats and I have to say I was impressed. I normally don't order burgers because they are usually either the pre frozen hockey puck type patties you find at a cheap drive thru or they are super fancy and super expensive but have no flavor. This wasn't the case with 7th Street. They make a simple and actually good burger. This is how burgers should be made. The flavor was good, it had a balanced meat to cheese ratio, and it was a good size (not too small where I am left still feeling hungry and not too big where I had leftovers afterwards). The fries were good but kind of basic. I will definitely get food from them in the future. I will visit in person next time and I will add an edit to this review about my in person experience.“

She really cares. The food was good but the customer service was excellent. This was our first time in the DC area. We will definitely come back here on out next trip here.“

“The fries were super crispy, the sauce was acidic and creamy and the burger was really flavorful! I wish there was one closer to me but happy I got the chance to go today😄I will be back when I’m back in D.C. (This one is in the Whole Foods. It’s a bit awkward standing and waiting for your food but you could go and shop after you order if you wanted!)“
