While this bar serves some up some pretty killer food, I came here primarily for the live music. The layout is similar to that of the Black Cat, with the main bar downstairs and the music venue upstairs. There are two very important differences between DC9 and the Black Cat: DC9 is smaller and has better food and a more extensive menu. Wife & kids came here for a concert & loved every bit of the experience! From the food to the bands & the bartenders . I had to work and could not attend ? so I guess I missed out on a great night.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved this venue. Can't wait to come back again.
