They're amazing.Ours came still steaming, and they give you all the tools you need to get into them enjoy them, we got the half dozen regular and with a salad and coleslaw they were a wonderful lunch. The boiling spice is salty and spicy and so good. And being from a Chinese background having apple cider vinegar on the table was a treat. Dipping the meat in the vinegar was how we used to eat blue crabs when I was a kid.“

“Had the opportunity to experience this dining venue for a Sunday brunch,recommended by family member. The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“

We came our first night in DC and had the delicious vegan nachos and vegan BBQ “chicken” bites and I was beyond impressed. We had such a great experience that we came back again…. And again while we were in DC. Everyone in my family (vegan and not) raved about their food and our service was phenomenal. “I went there because no other restaurants around there had open seating and I didn't have reservations. I should have come here first because the food was great. The hostess set us up for a table for five right away, which suprised me because it was crowded. Our waitress was right on top of things and our food came quickly. “I don’t go very often (it costs a pretty penny) but I never have a problem when I order there. I usually would get just the shakes, which are soy-free, and aren’t heavy on the coconut milk like a lot of vegan products are, and I believe it’s free of canola oil based off the allergen list, but not sure. (Tried finding what’s used and only concluded potato protein is used.) I also like the Meati chicken sandwiches; they’re pretty good. Definitely not the same flavor as meat, but flavored well enough and does deliver protein (mycoprotein) and less ingredients than the beyond burger base (and a nice alternative for those who have issues with pea protein like me). Also the green bean fries were phenomenal, though I didn’t taste the horseradish much in the horseradish sauce. But yeah overall, I’ve been consistently pleased.“

I went with the lucky burger - huge 2 patties covered in cheese and sauce. The ingredients - tomatoes, pickles, etc., were super fresh and so so good. We ordered some cajun fries for the table - it was huge, and awesome. The view here is great - wonderful to take in the wharf and do some people watching - really, who needs tv here!?!? Tbh the restaurant name is misleading, because they really don't have burgers. They only had a sandwich with pork. Majority of the items on the menu seemed to be noodle dishes. After scrolling menu pages many times, I ordered braised pork rice bowl and dumplings. Food took about 15 minutes. But then they gave me a sandwich although I ordered a rice bowl. So I had to wait a little more while eating dumplings. Dumplings were nice and juicy. Hot. The sauce that came with them was good. The rice bowl was Ah-mazing. I added free toppings: onion, green pepper and cilantro. The eggs were the best. I should have paid for extra eggs. The braised pork was so flavorful and juicy. A lot of rice. O recommended it for anyone who's very hungry. It's a smaller restaurant, and not suitable for groups of 5 and more, but it is perfect for solo diners and small groups. Will go back.“
