But on top of the excellent food, I was very impressed by the attention to detail by our server and the overall honesty of the restaurant. The tip is calculated pre-tax (one of my pet peeves is restaurants calculating tip post tax). Will definitely visit again in the future!“

We walked in, immediately we were escorted to our bay by Tim and he kindly provided us with water and set us up to play. I, and other friends, go out of our way for the hand-dipped chicken fingers (a staple pickup for take out since I live nearby).In addition to great selection of beers, they always have NA beer selections too, which I get when coming with the kids. “Lived in Buffalo for 5 years so the bar for wings is extremely high. These were pretty good though. I tried the lemon pepper, which had good flavor and were crispy. Also had the honey bbq which were drenched in sauce; it was a bit much. The beignets were delicious and the chicken noodle soup hit the spot. Attended networking event on a Thursday, good space inside and upstairs (heaters on the rooftop). Friendly staff and good beer options - if you are in the mood for a pilsner, I recommend Three Floyds Speed Castle. My colleagues enjoyed the food but I didn't try anything.“
“I've been to Midlands twice. First off, props for being a Michigan alum bar - Go Blue! Love the patio and chill vibe - great spot to relax while hanging out and sampling beers, etc. Solid beer selection, per my husband. Today I ordered the Strainge Beast hard kombucha which was awesome. Ginger, lemon, hibiscus. Loved it! We also needed a light midday snack so my husband got the $3 happy hour brat and I ordered hummus/pita. The hummus tasted great and was the perfect consistency. I'd love some veggies in addition to the pita bread, though. The service has been welcoming both times I've come. All in all, Midlands is a terrific neighborhood hangout spot and I'm sure to be back when visiting the area.“

My husband leans towards the IPAs and I always go their seltzers! In-laws were visiting so we wanted to take them to one of our favorite spots! The pretzel is by far my favorite pretzel and THE best I've had so far! And the we also love the fried chicken thighs! Pair it up with one of their small salads (still a HUGE portion!) and you have a great meal!“

“Popped in here with friends to watch football and grab dinner. It's a narrow space under Tiki on 18th with TVs covering almost every wall. We were all pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was, since we were just expecting standard sports bar fare! We shared four items: lumpiang Shanghai, mumbo salmon lettuce rolls, spicy pork sisig, and the jojo pansit. Everything was incredible. I loved how crispy the lumpiang was and the mango chili dipping sauce was great. The sauce on the lettuce rolls was SO good. We wanted to get the beef pares but they were out, so hope to try that again in the future. I'm glad I didn't know it was associated with Tiki on 18th before because I would have missed out on some delicious food. I stopped going to Tiki on 18th because they are predatory with the 20% included gratuity, by only showing you a final total on the card reader and automatically prompting for additional 20% tip. All that to say, I'll make an exception for The Game because the waitress reminded us about the included 20% which I appreciated and the service was excellent.“

Ordered 12 wings with 2 different flavors but I couldn't tell if they were actually 2 different flavors because they tasted the same. Neither was the flavor I ordered. Then again, I'm from Memphis, TN home of south and flavor is a must. According to reviews I was excited to go but unfortunately it was not a friendly environment in my opinion. “There is nothing about this place that doesn’t merit five stars. The service from the bar - Chris, Olga, Jake, and everyone else- are friendly and welcoming. The drink selection is solid and full of favorites. And the food - good lord, the food is outstanding. The best cheese curds, top notch legit red beans and rice - there’s not an off note on the whole menu. Top it off with the fact that I believe that all of their sauces and dressings are house made - like I said, five stars all around!“

“My company sponsored a corporate event here back in October. I worked with a person by the name of Ryan Hoehne. Ryan was awesome to work with! The event from planning to execution was fantastic. The food was setup and the ease of getting our drinks was excellent. We allowed staff to also order from the menu and the wait staff was wonderful as well. The overall atmosphere of Astro was really cool. Our staff enjoyed playing pool and watching a game on TV. Everyone had a great time and expressed that we should come back for another event!
