“Stopped by on a whim. Wanted to watch the football games. The food was amazing, a hybrid of korean/American bar food. The service was on point, Brandon and Samy took care of of me like I was one of the family. Everyone playing pool was soo friendly and there was so many tvs playing the games. We’ve loved eating at Her Diner before it was. My child (now almost 23) and I started going for the Drag Watch party when they were 13! They would win shots for me with their drag trivia knowledge 🥰 They even did their first few drag performances there thanks to Kelly, Thida and their Queendom💝 And when Her Diner finally took form, I think the food and decor got even better! Being able to travel with seafood and grits for nearly 3hrs. This along with the flavor, portion size is just outstanding! My mom and I didn't want to finish it all so we saved half for the next day! “I am here for a conference. I had just gone on a 2.5 hour walk to /exploration of memorial park & was absolutely exhausted and wanted something in the hotel that I could take up to my room. I walked in, there were no tables in sight. Super busy. I ran into one waiter, Francis/Francisco, he personally brought me to the point of sale to put in my to-go order and told me to come back and ask for him. They had it ready in 30 minutes (a quick waiting time for how busy it was), and it was amazing. Francis was so sweet. I can’t thank him enough!!“

“After coming back from a 10 day trip in Ireland The Blaguard is the spot to go. Not only do they pour a perfect Guinness but the vibes and ambience are unbeatable. The bartenders and staff are kind and fun to chat with. Not to mention the Buffalo Wings... OMG they were so good!

Great Happy Hour prices and weekly deals between 5-8 PM. I plan to become a regular after stumbiling in on this great pub.“

The bar itself was very animated and the staff was more than happy to play into the prizes, and the punishments >:)
Don’t yell wrongly bingo or you will regret it with a shot of fernet 🙈

The only downside of our night was the truffle Parmesan fries, we really didn’t like it and can’t recommend it. Try another side dish if you pass by.

For other people who are into bingo or trivia, they have bingo every Thursday at 7pm and Trivia every Wednesday at 7pm. As far as we’re aware it is free to participate to both.

“Mahlet, jose and Rechalle: This is the most customer centered staff ii have ever met. I was compelled to comment on the Embassy Suite brand because it stood out. They make you feel like you are the only customer, but they do it for everyone. Mahlet and Rechelle were so attentive.“

“Amazing and fresh oysters! My sister and I sat at the bar and ordered a dozen oysters while we waited for our takeout order. Bartenders Jim and Brian were amazing, friendly, and great service!

From our takeout order, we ordered a bunch of appetizers, our favorite were the fried calamari and clam chowder soup. Definitely will be back.“

“At the I was there I was a customer there that was 20 years ago from 1999-2002. It was a great atmosphere everyone that worked there at the time were very friendly and I got along with everyone. I met alot of people and made friends there. I live in North Carolina permanently with family I left Washington D.C area in 2017 and I regret not visiting back at Hard times before I left. Hopefully when or if I come to D.C (Springfield virginia). I will definitely stop there again for a visitor. Does anyone remember me? Jeremy Page“
