Just visited this new Ethiopian restaurant and was blown away! They serve fresh meat just like back home—raw, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It’s hard to find this kind of quality and authenticity around here. The service was excellent, and the team made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. No complicated menu—just amazing food done right. If you know good Ethiopian cuisine, this spot is going to be one of the best in the area. Highly recommend!“

“Dined here as part of a dinner group. The service was great, fast, and I love how they delivered the courses on time throughout the evening. We raved about the food. I will be coming back for that waffle & ice cream dessert! A great venue for groups. Here’s what we had:

“There is something for everyone at Her Diner! Kelly & Thida are serving up their dream come true: A fun, delicious dining and/or drinks space… that is a safe space for all! We’ve loved eating at Her Diner before it was. My child (now almost 23) and I started going for the Drag Watch party when they were 13! They would win shots for me with their drag trivia knowledge 🥰 They even did their first few drag performances there thanks to Kelly, Thida and their Queendom💝 And when Her Diner finally took form, I think the food and decor got even better! “Illusions is a must dine restaurant!!! I ordered shrimp and grits and catfish and grits!!!!!! After traveling to Pennsylvania and warming up my food……it was outstanding!! Being able to travel with seafood and grits for nearly 3hrs. This along with the flavor, portion size is just outstanding! My mom and I didn't want to finish it all so we saved half for the next day! And it was still sooooo good! The ONLY issue we only had a little bit left! So not only am I’m going back I’m going back asap!!! 5***** food!!!! So sorry I forgot to take pictures

“I am here for a conference. I had just gone on a 2.5 hour walk to /exploration of memorial park & was absolutely exhausted and wanted something in the hotel that I could take up to my room. I walked in, there were no tables in sight. Super busy. I ran into one waiter, Francis/Francisco, he personally brought me to the point of sale to put in my to-go order and told me to come back and ask for him. They had it ready in 30 minutes (a quick waiting time for how busy it was), and it was amazing. Francis was so sweet. I can’t thank him enough!!“

“This is the closest Hooters to me, about a twenty to thirty minute drive with traffic. I miss the Hooters that were in Rockville and at FedEx Field. I came here for their original breaded wings and they were like how I remembered them. A bit greasy but still good. Their steamed shrimp is still good though my fries weren’t that hot. Service was friendly.“

“Wow, Sunday happy hour from 12-6, at 5pm place was packed. Reduced price included $1 oysters! Had bunch of O's, Onion rings, Bruschetta (unique that it was baked), Chicken slider 2 sliders (half of tender) with Cole slaw and fries, Smash burger, wings. All from happy hour menu. Lots of drink choices (beer, cocktails, wines,....) Food was very good, service was good but waiter did forgot the Onion rings, I reminded twice and it came out with last orders. But, will visit again. Normal menu prices are in line with typical sit in restaurant (20-30 avg).“

Drinks are great and decently priced and they have a nice pub grub menu - their tater tots are fantastic. The food was excellent—beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the menu offered a nice variety to choose from. The drinks were also well-crafted and paired perfectly with the meal.
The service stood out just as much as the food. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was smooth from start to finish without feeling rushed.

“At the I was there I was a customer there that was 20 years ago from 1999-2002. It was a great atmosphere everyone that worked there at the time were very friendly and I got along with everyone. I met alot of people and made friends there. I live in North Carolina permanently with family I left Washington D.C area in 2017 and I regret not visiting back at Hard times before I left. Hopefully when or if I come to D.C (Springfield virginia). I will definitely stop there again for a visitor. Does anyone remember me? Jeremy Page“

“I was rooming round in DC and saw this restaurant so we decided to go dine in, the very welcoming server made eye contact and showed us our table gave menu, come back to take our order also suggested that I should try sautéed Lamb onions, tomatoes and potato wedges with Engera or freshly backed bread I took the suggestion order Lamb. While waiting for my food I turned to see dine areas the atmosphere was great, the Lamb was cooked Beautifully and the portion was large so I asked to go parcel, definitely I would suggest this restaurant and when I go back DC I would love to visit the restaurant again.“

“Food is fresh and hot. The Seafood here is amazing, but they do offer Non-Seafood items as well. The portion size is great. It’s worth the prices. Delicious.“
