“We have eaten here several times now and the pizza is always amazing! their black truffle mushroom brie pizza is to die for. Today I tried Pizza Bianca and it tasted soo fresh, you can always taste the individual ingredients in the pizza.. and the Stubborn agave vanilla cream soda is addictive!“

“We went here randomly and the outside of this restaurant- in a strip mall - does not do the inside or the delicious food justice. Inside it’s both elegant and yet still down to earth, with a full bar, beautiful plants everywhere, and impeccable service. We ordered three different items and each was fresh and tasty, and prepared with fresh ingredients. I’d say the food isn’t overly salted / nor overly heavy, so you may find yourself asking for a squeeze of lime or salt to spruce something up, but we really enjoyed ourselves immensely. “I've always been a fan and a regular customer for years at this little neighborhood place esp when they run a much loved lunch buffet. I went back a few days ago to revisit their food and service. The service is as good as ever; however, I was surprised at how much they have increased on their prices. I guess expansion and growth (they opened another branch in Arlingnton several years ago) is inevitable and capitalizing on this popularity has its own upside and downside. I ordered their Paa Tad fish dish which did not disappoint but a simple fried fish and for its size, the price was a bit exorbitant for me. I would still visit the place but would be more careful about my choices next time.“

Highlights include their pastel de queso, the sonso de yucca, the empanada arroz and the sopa de mani but there's so much more including delicious Saltenas and if you're really hungry their Majadito. The staff is super friendly and attentive and they are easy to find with good parking. This will definitely be one of my first stops anytime I am in this area.“

“Now that the hype has somewhat died down, ramen enthusiasts like me can return and enjoy a bowl of ramen without the crazy wait times. Initially, the restaurant didn't handle crowd control well in their early months. There was no waitlist system, making it hard to justify waiting a couple of hours just for a bowl of ramen. But now that the curious crowd has dispersed, I've come back a few times to check the consistency of the flavor and to see if it might become my go-to spot for ramen. For this visit, we ordered the Classic Omurice Combo with curry sauce and the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu. The Omurice Combo really stood out. We chose curry sauce over demi glace, which was a great decision – the curry sauce seemed to have more depth and paired better with the dish, in our opinion. The egg was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too runny. The Amazing Lemonade drink with cucumber added to the experience, being refreshing and elevating the taste to another level. The Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was also impressive. It featured thin slices of pork chashu, similar to my favorite ramen place in NYC. The smoky flavor of the chashu was excellent, adding aroma and depth to the dish. The slightly salty seaweed, along with the soft, sweet bamboo shoots, made for a good combination, enhancing the dish's flavor. The marinated egg, with its balanced taste and just-right cooking, was another highlight. Overall, Kyuramen delivered a memorable meal, with each element of the dishes complementing one another beautifully. The flavor has remained consistent during my recent visits, really standing out. This makes it not only the top spot on my ramen list in VA but also probably my second favorite spot overall in the East Coast. What sets Kyuramen apart is that it's the only ramen place in Northern Virginia that gives you the authentic feel of a ramen store. Sitting at the bar and watching the ramen-making process is a unique experience that adds to the charm. It’s definitely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys a mix of well-prepared flavors and dishes.“

Our family has enjoyed Open Road since it opened and it has consistently remained a go-to dinner spot for our family or a game watching spot with friends. only slight drawback is parking, but worst case there is parking about 2 blocks away.“
