“Wow the chicken was actually fresh and tasty! It felt less greasy and actually healthier. I was afraid it was going to be super salty but it was not! It was great with the sauces. The 2 side dishes that come with the chicken were also great: Chicken fried rice w/ pinto beans and fried plantains. Both were tasty and good portions. The fried rice alone could make me feel full, and I really appreciate the fried plantains here... because they are usually quite pricey but disappointing in size and quality :/ I never had Havanna/Argentine alfajores, but the alfajor here was good enough for me--dulce de leche with coconut flakes between two sweet+buttery biscuits. Yuquita balls were creamy/cheesy, and of course, better than just yuca fries. Homemade flan here is also satisfying. Overall, I appreciate the authenticity, unique menu, good portions, and fresh ingredients here.”
“This place is very authentic and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. They have more pupusa options than I’ve ever seen before and the curtido and salsa is amazing. The drinks are great and the desserts for the most part are good too. Would definitely ”
“Great Food! Great Music on weekends! Loved the Api Morada and Chicharron! Even the Saltenas are fabulous the next day- highly recommend getting a few to go! Breakfast Lunch and Dinner here over a weekend all of it was great!Parking: Easy to park!”
“Casual no frills Churrasqueria in a strip mall. Attentive quick and very friendly service. Good selection of wines by the glass and smoothies made of fresh fruits. We ordered the special platters: short ribs, steak, Argentine sausages are delicious; the unusual blood pudding, and liver stuffed intestine are tasty if you are feeling adventurous. The chicken and pork chops are marinated well but a bit on the dry side.$84 appears pricy but fed us, two hungry adults and one starving kid with the pork and chicken remaining.”
“Having no experience with Peruvian food culture, I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings here. Our family tried the seafood dish, the shrimp dish and the beef dish. All of which I cannot pronounced but tried anyway. They were ALL very good. Tasty, hot, with just the right amount of spice. But, the star of the evening was their Chimichuri. We put that delicious green, spicy sauce on everything and it made good food taste great! Don't let the traffic or the outside appearance throw you off. It might look like a Pizza Hut from the outside, but the food and the service is anything but pedestrian. Try it.”
“A very cute and nice little Bolivian Restaurant around the heart of Falls Church. I only had the Saltenas and their maize corn drink, which were both good! The staff were nice and the prices were decent as well. Great place!Update: I tried their trancapecho, which was very good, but it was a bit too small and pricey in my opinion, and it had no mayonnaise on it. I also tried the mocochinchi (peach tea drink), which was also nice.”
“Recently visited Ruta 50 Bar and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The place has a laid-back ambiance, making it easy to unwind after a long day. Their drink selection was diverse, catering to both classic tastes and those looking for something a bit different. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that my drink was just right and checking in at just the right moments. The background music added to the vibe without being overwhelmingly loud. A solid spot for a casual evening out. I'd be keen to drop by again when I'm in the area.”
“Awesome food and service. I confirmed and they provide all halal meat. We got Quesadilla, chef special tingerene beef and beef tacos can be rated as 10/10, 10/10 and 8/10 respectively. Would love to go there again n again. Service is 10/10 and full marks for Mexican atmosphere too.”
