Like, the service here is much friendlier than the sit down restaurants I go to. I have almost always received better than average fast food here as well and rarely have to wait. I think the negative reviews are just people who come to complain, because I come here regularly for two years and find it’s pretty good. I worked in fast food before and know it can be stressful and customers can be pretty rude and demanding so I think these employees do a great job.”

I guess expansion and growth (they opened another branch in Arlingnton several years ago) is inevitable and capitalizing on this popularity has its own upside and downside. I ordered their Paa Tad fish dish which did not disappoint but a simple fried fish and for its size, the price was a bit exorbitant for me. I would still visit the place but would be more careful about my choices next time.”

They used to be located on the other sode of Falls Church more in the central part of that area, and me and my gorfriend used to go there for dinners. I would also order carry-out gyro platters on a regular basis. Ever since those days, gyros and spaghetti have been my go-to orders from this restaurant. This is a real authentic Greek restaurant and they never cut corners when it comes to the quality of the food. The gyro meat isn't processed meat either, and they always add an ample amount of fetta cheese and gyro sauce.”

“The food was really good seasoning wise but I like my noodles a little less al dente to hit the perfect mouth feel. My sister did however, really enjoyed the vegetarian option. That being said I will still definitely be back! At the end of the day the customer service was so excellent here it was the real star. I had never been to this particular restaurant and Danny was such a help that he helped take all the guess work out. He was also so very caring and came to check on us and other customers in the store which is definitely not your typical casual dining experience. It’s people like these who give us hope in the service industry/humanity again! In other news, the industrial and rather breezy—on a hot day—atmosphere of this place was great and it was ULTRA clean. “If you’re a fan of authentic Japanese comfort food, Kajiken in Falls Church is a spot you absolutely shouldn’t miss.

We started the evening with Gyoza and Takoyaki, and they were the perfect way to begin the meal. The gyoza were nicely crisped on the outside with juicy, flavorful filling, while the takoyaki were warm, soft, and savory — a classic street-food favorite done right.

For my main dish, I ordered the Teriyaki Tori, and it truly stood out. The chicken had a wonderful aroma and a beautifully grilled texture with a slightly crispy bite on the outside while remaining juicy inside. You can really tell it was grilled with care and precision. The flavor was incredibly satisfying and unique — honestly, I’ve had chicken dishes in many places, but it’s hard to find one quite like this. Paired with the noodles, the combination was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced.(And if you’re not a noodles fan, you can easily ask to swap the noodles for rice.)

My husband ordered the Sukiyaki, which was warm, savory, and deeply comforting — the kind of dish that makes a dinner feel complete.

To end the evening, we treated ourselves to dessert: Matcha Crepe Cake with Matcha Ice Cream, and Taiyaki with Vanilla Ice Cream. As someone who truly loves matcha, I have to say the matcha flavor here is the real deal — smooth, fragrant, and beautifully balanced without being overly sweet. The crepe cake layers were delicate and light, and paired with the matcha ice cream it was absolutely delightful. The taiyaki with vanilla ice cream was also a perfect sweet finish.

From the appetizers to dessert, everything felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. A wonderful dining experience overall — we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Guy at the front was friendly and quite helpful, especially considering there were a total of 2 people running the spot. They're burgers are similar to a golden age Five Guys burger, without the egregious amount of grease involved. It's a good burger without the typical guilt of eating one. Would reccomend.”
