“Picked up dinner last night. I'm gluten free and Nick, the manager, rang my order in and was so polite and courteous. He addressed every question I had about what I could eat. I was really impressed and can't wait to return.“

“I came in with my girlfriend and we ordered the burrito and quesadilla. The food was amazing. The portions sizes were big and the food made me feel light. The customer service is some the best that I have ever had. The owners did a great job at explaining the menu and were quick to extend a helping hand. They were so kind and gave the place a warm and welcoming vibe. Also big shoutout to all the workers who helped make our meal and a special thank you to Vikas who was our server. He treated us so kindly and made the experience 10x better. I cant wait to go back and try other menu items.“

It felt like fine dining, he gave us a bit of conversation and seem like such a pleasant gentlemen. I enjoyed the food. It was amazing. I eat every drop and the baklava ice cream with everything took a friend for the first time. My friend said he enjoyed it, and we will definitely be back again. Tried the classic country fried steak and Greek combo of spinach pie, masouka, gyro meat and Greek salad. Menu doesn't have the punctuation so I did not expect a sampler plate with huge portions. There's special menu on the board as well.

I agree with other reviewers that prices are fair and portion is generous. Vibes of the place is interesting and does feel like a typical diner and being in the 70s-80s!“

“The Parthenon is my go-to local restaurant for dining outdoors or inside at the bar. I love the wide range of dishes, from vegetarian Greek dishes to very reasonably priced gyro plates with tzatziki, salad, and fries. The cold mezze plate is great and the swordfish is superb. Don't miss the crabcakes which I think are the best in DC -- all crabmeat, no breadcrumbs, and delicious taste. When I want a treat I get a dinner with one crabcake and one soft shell crab. The Greek wines are very good and reasonably priced. I love the fact the restaurant is family owned and run, and the staff is very attentive and friendly.“

“My first time here and I was impressed with how nice and friendly the lady at the counter was. She gave me potatoes to try and lamb. It was quick, and the food was amazing.
I got a small plate with 2 types of chicken, tiny bit of lamb to try, orzo, green beans. Flavor was popping, food was warm and plenty 😋 it was all in one container so it didnt look very artsy but it tasted sooo good that I ate all of it and it was def 2 or 3 serving size for someone my size. 😆 and the bread that came with was amazing, smelled and tasted fresh. Outside was crispy ish yet soft and inside very fluffy. My only one issue was that green beans was very oily. But I still ate it all.
Overall- will def go back, and may bring my friends. Def will bring family. They have so many chicken, lamb, turkey varieties for those who dont want pork or beef all the time.
It was just me and a friend so we sat in their tiny table but I will say this is take out place. Not a lot of space to sit and eat. It gets busy too, but they are extremely quick with service.“

“Mylos is one of our go-to favorite places. Very kid friendly! The vegetables are shockingly fresh to the point we asked how the vegetables are so good, like unusually good, every time we come. The kind server said they take pride in their fresh ingredients and get vegetable deliveries every couple days. It makes their salads AMAZING!!! Especially the horiatiki salad! I usually do not like salads. Sometimes I just order a salad because they are that good

The gyros are pretty good, olive oil is amazing, tazatziki sauce is good, grilled halloumi is great, keftedes are great, overall can't really go wrong.

Service is fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. Definitely give Mylos a try. So happy we found Mylos!“

“I’ve been coming to this location pretty much every weekend for the last 3 years and realized I’ve never actually left a review! They have another location that is bigger than this one, but honestly, this one is the better spot for food, service, and the overall vibe. I actually live closer to the Falls Church location but still make the drive here because the staff are always super friendly and the experience is consistently good. On Fridays and Saturday, it can get a little busy a hectic but the wait usually isn’t too bad, maybe around like 10–15 minutes. My order has always come out right and the food tastes fresh and delicious every time I’ve been here.

The place itself is clean, condiments are always stocked, and there’s a really nice mural on the wall that gives it a cozy feel. Nice music playing most of the time I come and seating is a little tight but it’s comfortable. Every time I come in,I’m greeted right away and the staff have been the same since I first started coming so they know what they’re doing. If there ever is an issue, they’re quick to fix it. If you have any allergies or food restrictions, they are pretty accommodating to requests so that is something to consider.
Overall, this has been one of my go-to spots for Greek food for years! Consistently good food, good prices, and really great service.“

There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. “Their signature thing The Gyro is spot on copious gyro meat balanced well with tomatoes, onions and tzatki. The side Greek Salad was tasty but heavy on the greens and a real Greek salad is cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, green peppers. I ordered way too much as the Gyro is a lot. Enjoy! Opa!!
PS Dolmades are cooked fresh when you order and are hot which was me to me, but also spot on. A really good side if you like Dolmades.“

“Athena Grill is absolutely phenomenal and a true neighborhood gem. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care, and the portions were generous. I especially recommend the gyro pita—it was delicious—and the falafel was perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The galaktoboureko was an excellent way to finish the meal and is definitely worth trying. My pickup order was ready quickly, everything was packaged well, and the service was warm and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Highly recommend!“

Stopped in today and had an old favorite a gyro with some black olives - it was great as usual. Fast & friendly service as well.
