“Their signature thing The Gyro is spot on copious gyro meat balanced well with tomatoes, onions and tzatki. The side Greek Salad was tasty but heavy on the greens and a real Greek salad is cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, green peppers. I ordered way too much as the Gyro is a lot. Enjoy! Opa!!
PS Dolmades are cooked fresh when you order and are hot which was me to me, but also spot on. A really good side if you like Dolmades.“

“This is a pizza shop mostly for pick up or delivery.

The food was delicious. The wrap i got was warm and delicious. The mango habanero wings had great flavor and were cooked well - maybe make the sauce a little less sticky. And the calzone was off the charts. We'll worth the price for all of it and very fresh.

“The Parthenon is my go-to local restaurant for dining outdoors or inside at the bar. I love the wide range of dishes, from vegetarian Greek dishes to very reasonably priced gyro plates with tzatziki, salad, and fries. The cold mezze plate is great and the swordfish is superb. Don't miss the crabcakes which I think are the best in DC -- all crabmeat, no breadcrumbs, and delicious taste. When I want a treat I get a dinner with one crabcake and one soft shell crab. The Greek wines are very good and reasonably priced. I love the fact the restaurant is family owned and run, and the staff is very attentive and friendly.“

“Mylos is one of our go-to favorite places. Very kid friendly! The vegetables are shockingly fresh to the point we asked how the vegetables are so good, like unusually good, every time we come. The kind server said they take pride in their fresh ingredients and get vegetable deliveries every couple days. It makes their salads AMAZING!!! Especially the horiatiki salad! I usually do not like salads. Sometimes I just order a salad because they are that good

The gyros are pretty good, olive oil is amazing, tazatziki sauce is good, grilled halloumi is great, keftedes are great, overall can't really go wrong.

“I grew up coming to Cava Mezze with my family, and we’ve been eating there for almost 14 years. I have so many special memories there, from going as a 10-year-old, to having my send-off dinner before leaving for college, to celebrating my 21st birthday there. I live in California now, but whenever I’m home, coming to Cava is always a priority. I went with my dad last night, and once again, we had such a wonderful experience. Noah was an amazing server and made our evening even more special. “My first time here and I was impressed with how nice and friendly the lady at the counter was. She gave me potatoes to try and lamb. It was quick, and the food was amazing.
I got a small plate with 2 types of chicken, tiny bit of lamb to try, orzo, green beans. Flavor was popping, food was warm and plenty 😋 it was all in one container so it didnt look very artsy but it tasted sooo good that I ate all of it and it was def 2 or 3 serving size for someone my size. 😆 and the bread that came with was amazing, smelled and tasted fresh. Outside was crispy ish yet soft and inside very fluffy. My only one issue was that green beans was very oily. But I still ate it all.
Overall- will def go back, and may bring my friends. Def will bring family. They have so many chicken, lamb, turkey varieties for those who dont want pork or beef all the time.
It was just me and a friend so we sat in their tiny table but I will say this is take out place. Not a lot of space to sit and eat. It gets busy too, but they are extremely quick with service.“

It felt like fine dining, he gave us a bit of conversation and seem like such a pleasant gentlemen. I enjoyed the food. It was amazing. The menu is carefully curated, and it shows. This is their second restaurant—the first has been around for over 30 years. They know what they’re doing. Small space, so definitely make a reservation—but bar seating is just as good (we sat there and loved it). Carlos the bartender and the whole staff were amazing. It was warm, and served with really good olive oil. However, it lacked the taste of good Italian bread. Prices were moderate & reasonable. I would definitely go back again, having passed by it many times & finally decided to give it a try. Having parking in the back was a bonus. Ordered after I finished work and came home to my wife at 12am.

Ordered Delux Steak sub and Calzone plus frys.

I called. He told me 10 minutes, when I got there it was ready.

Around $30. Got a giant calzone along with not one but 2 pretty big subs(around $17). I am extremely satisfied with the food I got for my money especially that late at night.

Highly recommend, especially for college kids, night shift workers.

“Came here at a random time after the zoo with kids and it has been a blast. I'm not sure if elementary school kids are their ideal demographic but they gave them free Shirley temples, off menu kids burgers and fries, and my kiddos are cheering for the soccer shown at the bar.

They have some interesting live music coming up, so I hope to come back (without kids) soon!“
