I was in the mood for Veal piccata which is hard to find and even harder to find done right. In this case everything was perfect - the lemon sauce, the capers etc - but the chef hadn’t tenderized the veal so it was tight and curling up instead of soft and easy to chew. The meat was good but it needed to be tenderized. Have been coming here for years. Cozy dinning place on the small side. Let’s call it intimate. They have amazing tomato sauce and chicken parm; the lasagna, pizza, and soup are also good. We take friends and family here when they visit. The staff and owners are great.
