Tavira Restaurant Reviews
Tried to order carryout from the 3-coure meal menu. Told that the items on the 3 course meal were not there. Tried to order filet of sole and salada da Horta. Seemed like bait and switch
The portion sizes here are one of the things people consistently mention and rightly so. The fruta do mar as a starter is substantial, the mains are generous, and nothing feels designed to make you order extra just to feel fed. Good calibration.
we took visiting family to tavira for a dinner out and it was the right choice. the portuguese character of the menu was something they hadn't encountered before and they were genuinely impressed. the bacalhau and the caldeirada were the table favorites and the setting made the whole thing feel like a real occasion

Tavira Restaurant, located in a parking garage, offers an exceptional dining experience. The food is exceptionally good, featuring dishes like Calamar, tender New York striploin, and grilled rock fish. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, despite its unique location. The menu includes a three-course lunch menu, with options like pasta and burger sliders. The service is amazing, even during busy hours, and the staff is helpful with allergy restrictions and knowledgeable about the menu. Although the wine can be a bit expensive, the portions are decently priced. Many customers have praised the authenticity and freshness of the dishes, highlighting the charming presentation with different plates for each meal. Tavira Restaurant is a hidden gem that leaves a lasting impression, making it a place worth visiting again and again.
