I had a reunion dinner with my friends at noon on New Year's Eve. The taste of this restaurant is very good. The hoof pork is a New Year's special dish. It's a big portion and worth it. The roast duck is also delicious. The skin is crispy and rich in fat. The stir-fried pork is full of black bean flavor. It goes well with rice. The fried bean sprouts may seem ordinary but the heat is just right. The service attitude of the waiter is also great.
Delish - much better than your average asian fare + thoughtful professional touches. Walked from subway - easy. The retail in the area seems a bit tired but the Round House Theatre is right across the street. Went for simple lunch specials: Basil Eggplant and Kung Pao Tofu + whole grain rice (never seen that - better than others' brown rice option). Hot pot of tea on cold day - nice. The place is light and airy - a sanctuary in the concrete jungle.

Everything was excellent. Reminded me a bit of Mission Chinese in style (not an expert, but wife is Chinese and she kinda agrees); and comparable in quality. In other words, it was excellent. I don't understand the low-star reviews at all. We had beijing duck, beef wrap, and spicy lamb shank. All were fantastic. We dined around 1pm on a Sunday.Kid-friendliness: Brought our antsy, loud 5yo. No problems
