PLANTA
“We arrived promptly for our 7:15 PM reservation. We were seated right away. Upon sitting at the table, my mom noticed that a section of the table was not clean. She told the host, and he returned with a wipe. He gave my mom the wipe, for her to clean the table. We were too excited about our very first experience at an vegan restaurant to make a fuss. We started off with some cocktails and appetizers. The bang bang broccoli was a hit! The sushi was ok and everyone enjoyed Thier cocktails, despite the excessive amount of ice. Every one enjoyed their entrées. I had the chick n waffles, which I really enjoyed. We even order dessert! The brownie was so moist and delicious on its own. The ice cream was a added treat. Our server was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu.We will definitely be back for brunch as well as check out the other two Planta in the DMV.”

“Very good tacos with the delicious hot sauces on the tables. Great service even if a bit disorganized. The only thing I was not impressed was the margarita which was kind of average.”
“Persimmon has very attentive service, lots of great menu options, and a nice buzzy atmosphere that is cozy and not too loud. Our favorites were the tuna tartare and blue cheese ravioli with truffle sauce. I love that they have so many seafood options. Don't miss the sunset dining from 5-6pm M-F: 3 courses for $45!”

Aventino
“Tried this new restaurant in Bethesda. The service was excellent. Even got to chat with the owner’s mother. The appetizers were very good. The fish dish was superb and the spaghetti dish with clams was good although they were small. Apple cake was a nice desert and the sambuca was good but lacking the coffee beans. Only negative thing was the noise. Could barely hear the server. But I would definitely go back.”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Virraaj, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a truly memorable evening. The menu at Virraaj is a culinary masterpiece, offering a diverse selection of dishes that cater to every palate. Each dish is expertly crafted with precision and care, using only the freshest and finest ingredients. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a revelation, bursting with flavor and creativity. What truly sets Virraaj apart, however, is the impeccable service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we were seated to the final goodbye, we felt welcomed and cared for every step of the way.The ambiance at Virraaj is also worth noting. The restaurant's elegant decor and inviting atmosphere create the perfect setting for any occasion, whether it's a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory gathering with friends and family. It's clear that the team behind this establishment is committed to excellence in every aspect, from the cuisine to the service to the ambiance. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable dining experience, look no further that Virraaj. It's a five-star experience all around.”

“Servers were great. Tapas were good. Shrimp, potatoes, mushrooms were really good. I have lived in Bethesda for 30 years and just now found it. We will be back soon.”
“We came here late on a Saturday afternoon, technically while happy hour was going on, but we chose the dinner menu. My son had the fresh burrata an appetizer (tasty) and hanger steak (good). My husband and I both started with the seasonal soup -- a carrot ginger which felt a bit thin. He and my mom both had the blackened salmon -- she thought it was great and he thought it lacked some flavor. I had the smoked duck breast which was fine -- the side it came with was great. The restaurant wasn't full which meant we could hear well and the hostess became our server was nice -- though maybe a bit nervous. The bathrooms were clear though it felt a bit like a rest stop bathroom -- odd given their menu and prices.”

“Super service coupled with fantastic authentic food. Easily the best Indian place in this area that we've had.Edit - if anyone is particularly craving a very spicy curry, go for the Vindaloo. We just went again today, March 10, 2024 and had that for the first time and it is phenomenal!”
“Delicious gluten-free breads and other baked goods! They make sandwiches with said GF breads as well and label their ingredients thoroughly, which I deeply appreciate. The owner, JC, is a genuine gem! He started out with the mission of making food and breads his wife could eat. From there, he branched out to offer this shared labor of love with other folks with dietary restrictions. The effort and love that goes into the community through happy tummies cannot be understated!Vegetarian options: There are some GF crepes and GF sandwich options which include no meat. Additionally, you can ask them to remove the meat in an otherwise meat inclusive option.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread and GF options!”
“Very popular, often there’s a line, but they’re so efficient that it moves quickly. Quality is consistent and always first rate. One scoop is generous and sufficient for me.”

“We wanted to visit this place from a long time after hearing about it from friends but since we live 45 minutes away, we never got a chance. Luckily, today we were in the area and finally got to try their pizza. I have had fusion pizzas at a few other places in the past but this was the best so far! Thin crust, well done, and perfect taste! We had a large Kadhai Paneer and a medium chicken tikka between our family of three which was more than enough. We have some left overs for lunch now! The owner Manoj was really nice and gave us recommendations for choosing pizza, (out of the so many options they have) since it was our 1st time. The kind of customer service he provides is rare to find these days. Would love to eat this pizza more often if we lived close by.”
“The food is light and refreshing. The price is extremely fair. Its great to eat right as it comes out and it also saves pretty well. The servers are kind--they'll even bring out the food to your car just to make things easier. The vibe is chill. This is a nice, local place that I will definitely be going to again.”
“Omg, District Falafel - what a real treat! As a Palestinian, I rarely eat at ME restaurants cause it's easier, less disappointing and always better to just go to mom's! My sister/friend introduced me to this place and I enjoyed it so much that I will even tackle the beltway to go into Bethesda from VA! The manager (M'hammad)/counter/table (Edwin?) staff were extremely nice, friendly, patient and just really kind! Pricing was quite reasonable & the same regardless of lunch/dinner - a real bonus. Easy parking, casual and just the right size inside. We had an amazing set of beautifully presented dishes before us incl: Adas soup (thinner than I'm used to, but SUPER delicious!), the falafel was so fantastic that I took a few dozen home to share w/family (will definitely try the spicier ones on next visit!), chicken shawarma & kifteh were nicely flavored & tender, and all the side dishes, hummus, baba ghannouj, salads, pickled items, pita bread hit the mark. Thank you for everything - Can't wait to come back!”

“I was recommended this location by a friend who tried CYM and I loved it! The little deli (food truck) was near my house and was a pretty quick trip. The ordering process was seamless. I ordered online and picked up my order right the window. I got a Sun City Bagel which featured cheddar, eggs, and bacon! The food was HOTTTT and fresh... literally to die for! It stayed warm even an hour later when I finished my nail appointment that I was heading too! Also the branding and location is just aesthetic! Even though this is a food truck location, they did have a few parking spots which was easy enough to just park and get out grab my food and go! Good food + aesthetic location = happy Cindy”
“Great ice cream with tons of flavors, one flavor for $5, two for $6!Like most places, they offered free samples and I really appreciated the clipboard wall to clearly display all the flavors they had available. There were 3 different freezers, and so many options for cones, shakes, toppings, and even pints to take home ??I really enjoyed the matcha cheesecake and the orange chocolate chip flavors, as well as red velvet cake that had chunks of cake in their ice cream, that I tried but there were so many to choose from that I couldn’t try so I’d be happy to check it out again!Dietary restrictions: Ice cream flavors with nuts are clearly distinguished”
“Best breakfast burrito around… Great service, always quick to get our food out the door and look forward to returning most weekends for our Chorizo Breakfast Burrito!”
“I came to Andy's Pizza - Bethesda on a Sunday evening. There is street parking available and we were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself. There are a handful of seats available upstairs as well as downstairs. After ordering our pizza and drinks at the counter, my husband and I grabbed a seat right at the front window with our son. I ordered a slice of the Buffalo Crispy Chicken, this comes with mozzarella, provolone, ricotta, crispy white meat chicken and buffalo sauce. The pizza wasn't as spicy as I had anticipated, but it was still good. The crust and pizza itself is thin with less dough. Although the pizza slices seem large, they were not that filling. At $6 for a slice, it makes more sense to order an entire pizza. Overall, the staff were friendly and the food was good. I would definitely order from here again, but just as I mentioned above, I would order an entire pizza next time :)”
“My students enjoyed lunch at Hawkers for our minimester program callled “Street Food.” Our server, Kay, was incredibly helpful and communicative. The food was phenomenal and each of my teenage students said the experience was unbelievable. We also met Sous Chef Ever who came out to check on us and received a raucous applause from all of us.”
“The food at this place is out of this world and probably one of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. The service was impeccable. Our server Flora could not be more attentive and sweet. We will definitively come back next time we visit our son in college.”
“Had a great HH experience here on a Friday evening. Left full and with a very nice buzz for $42 (2 orders of empanaditas, 1 mini cuban sandwich, and 3 double mojitos). Bartender was friendly and attentive. Recommend stopping in for eats and drinks.”
“Underappreciated place but we didn’t object to personalized service! Exceellent chicken mole enchiladas and quesadillas, flan delicious and margaritas as well. Passed on many tempting menu options but will return.”

“We are happy to get some tasty, really spicy authentic food in bethesda, so we don't need to drive to rockville all the time. Only downside is that their dishes can be a bit pricey. Unlike other chinese places, their dishes are also smaller portions.Updated: We are back for more delicious ? .A couple years later, price has gone up and taste ? is not as good.”
“My wife and I visited the Bethesda location. Our server was extremely helpful and kind. She explained basically they only cook with good oils. Everything is fresh and organic. The terminology today is clean food. My wife ordered a gin and pineapple martini and it was delicious.! They have an open kitchen concept and the cooks bring the food right to you after they prepare it! Which I thought was a great touch and would answer any questions you might have. I ordered the OG burger medium and it came out perfect so juicy and flavorful the grilled onions on the burger were fantastic and it came with a side of roasted baby red potatoes that were. Delicious. My wife ordered a salad with fresh grilled salmon and the salmon was prepared just the way she liked it not pink in the center and not overly done. Definitely a great concept and the food was extremely tasty. I would highly recommend it. They also have outside seating for a pretty spring evening.”
“Gregorio's catered our Super Bowl party and the quality of the food made for a great success. Here's something you may not know (yet) - Gregorio's wings are FANTASTIC! They went faster than all of the homemade potluck dishes our guests brought. Pizza is consistently delicious (why we order from Gregorio's in the first place). But the wings....! Best I've had in years!”
“They do a great job of reflecting India's regional cuisines in authentic flavors. The service is excellent, and the desserts are delicious. For mains, loved the Coorgi Murg, the Chicken Malai, and the Fish Vendiam. For dessert, loved the Mango Shreekhand and the Kesari Rasmalai. Looking forward to trying the new mains and desserts on the menu!”
“Lots and lots of food options (don’t forget to look at their Menu Specials, separate from their regular menu). Loved that their menu was marked for dietary restrictions (I.e., GF) so we did not have to ask additional on how the dish was prepared. The server was very attentive and all dishes came out fast and fresh. Absolutely loved their garlic fried rice, good to have in addition to sushi rolls.Dietary restrictions: Menu is marked with all GF options.”
“I had to knock off a star. The fare is quite amazing, I’ve always had great meals here. But . . . . . I have to take off a star. They added large TV sets since I was here before and the dining atmosphere is ruined by soccer games and what I guess is Indian rap music blaring on another. Totally awful distractions from trying to intimately enjoy their incredible food. Also, a mysterious “service charge” appeared on the very bottom of our bill. If it was noted on the menu I never saw it. The server’s explanation of this extra 15% charge was unintelligible. When the credit slip arrived, it was asking for yet another tip. I’m not a cheapskate. I worked in restaurants for many years and know how difficult it can be. Asking for a tip on top what already has a service charge is a bit arrogant. So, pretty awesome food. I would go back with earplugs and a sharper eye on the bill.”
“This pizza is one of the BEST ever. The sauce ,cheese ,and dough is so scrumptious. Last Friday was my first time here ( we ordered take out ).First of all i love the fact it's in a gate community with security. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The staff here are so nice ( I think a guy who appeared to be chef even checked on me) . i cant wait for me and hubby to dine in !Don't change a thing. You all Rock❤️”
“Enjoyed a fantastic brunch here! The breakfast crepe was delicious with a thin and fluffy crepe filled with ham, egg, and cheese. The steak frittes was also delicious--the steak was thin and perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy and tasty. Also a lovely dessert, both the mousse and the crème brûlée were wonderful!”
“Chef Tony's has so much going for it. Great location, off the beaten path, in a gated condo. Parking is pretty easy. Getting to the restaurant is fun, a little like Henry and Karen entering the Copa to see Bobby Vinton in Goodfellas. The restaurant is on the Arcade level and is sleek, fresh, well-lighted. There is a separate bar area with softer lighting and an outdoor patio as well. The dishes I've ordered or tried have all been solid. The portions are more than generous, which is nice to know with prices everywhere being higher. My favorite is Dad's Crab Pasta. They also have Pizza, Detroit style. My go-to is the 4-4-2. Deep dish, sausage, bacon, ample sauce, milder cheese blend, hot honey drizzle... You can opt in to receiving messages/ from them, which can be nice, if you want to know about specials and such. Service is on par, prices as well”
“The food was outstanding. Friend and I left so full we couldn't even try a dessert. The oysters were delicious as was the beet salad and fish. No compliments about the cocktails either.”
“I made reservations ahead of time for Valentine's Day and we were immediately seated. We ordered the pizza del campo, ravioles 4 quesos, rigatoni frank sinatra and the fettuccine alla bolognese. The service and atmosphere were excellent. The only comment I have is that the sausage was missing from our pizza. Otherwise, I'd recommend La Panetteria to anyone looking for good Italian food!”
“as someone who’s had ramen in japan, this is the only place in america (that ive been to so far) that can even compare!! all of the food is so good and the bubble tea is a perfect companion!! the staff are also incredibly sweet and very accommodating. DEFINITELY try the tonkotsu ramen it’s sooo good ???”

Takeout Restaurants
“One of the few restaurants that has stood the test of time. Tasty gluten free food in an unpretentious atmosphere. If you get the lunch special it's pretty good value. With it being a beer and wine store as well, the drink prices and options are above average. If you are gluten free this is a gem. If you aren't, it's definitely worth a try. The gelato is good too.”
“This place is a 10/10 I just finished eating and I already wanna go back and get more environment is nice and a really chill spot to be around and the food is great a lot of amazing options if you can make your own sub that would be cool but the options here are already good and the service here was the best seems like the owner likes to treat everyone here like family and that's the best and I'm definitely coming back here again for sure thankfully it's close by if you're in the area check it out right now”
“Prices are high for a cookie but its worth it. I got the oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip walnut cookie and a mocha came out to like $16. No seating inside plenty of seatinf ”
“Outstanding organic breads and artisan pastries (Viennoiserie are tops!) make Fresh Baguette a go-to to enjoy exemplary French bakery treats, especially the savory Crogel (croissant sandwiches) and seasonal offerings like the Passion Fruit Croissant (summer) and the Pumpkin Cruffin (hybrid of croissant in a muffin shape during the autumn)! Gary leads a team of very personable and courteous staff that makes the Bethesda location a true star versus the occasionally brusque Rockville spot.Vegetarian options: As with most bakeries, the majority of options don't include meat.Parking: There are 2 spots in front of the bakery with a third one sometimes available and one more that is a temporary standing zone.Kid-friendliness: Wholesome treats that are attractive to burgeoning and refine palates alike!”

“Delicious and authentic Palestinian food! The Norma’s wrap was so wonderfully flavored and spiced, I ate it so quick. I am so happy to have this spot near my work, can’t wait to return.”
“Low prices for a Bethesda business. The young Asian lady who takes my order is kind, professional, and always has a smile on her faceThe food is cooked the way I ask, and any questions I have are promptly answered. The pancakes, egg, and meat platter are on point. Along with the honey / ginger hot tea.Good place to go, and I don't eat out oftenKid-friendliness: This is a place you can bring your child(ren) for a quick bite to eatWheelchair accessibility: There's room if you are wheelchair bound”
“I think this is the best ramen place in Bethesda ? Love the real spicy of Gekikara Ramen. Taste great with perfect level of saltiness. The spicy is not overpowering the broth and other stuff ”

“I swear by this bakery for my job. I work for UDC and order for our Faculty and Staff Service awards. People fight over these cupcakes and someone ALWAYS gets theirs stolen when they take their eyes off of them. A true gem.”

“Exemplary! We dined here first because it is so close to the Strathmore concert venue but have been back for a a total of five visits in less than a year. I've never had a bad dish. The pizza is fantastic (crust and toppings, red and white), the salads are fresh, and the side dishes are delicious and fun to share. How many fast casual restaurants serve mussels? Piccoli Piatti has several different versions and all the ones we've tried have been great--save your pizza crust for sopping up the goodness. Service is friendly and efficient. We showed up one Friday or Saturday during the dinner rush. The line was from the counter to the door but it moved quickly. I can't wait to go back! (PS: If you save room--sometimes we don't--there is an ice cream shop several doors down.)”
“I got the spinach and cheese pizza and I can tell you this is the best pizza I have ever eaten! If you are a fan of thin crust, go enjoy! I am from out of state and plan to order a whole pizza to take back home. I also ordered the meatball sub which paled in comparison, but was also good.”
“I wrote about it in my previous post but awesome cocktail list and finger foods. They just rolled out a new menu and it's giving SPRINGGGG and high volume. I love Nikola and the manager Eric!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Would love to see the coke machines in the dining area fixed, they're always out of syrup, out of ice, and broken.Workers are always nice in the drive thru. It's a Wendy's.”
“My family and I went to the Uncle Julio’s in Bethesda and we had a great experience! While we were there we especially appreciated the manager Darius. He was friendly, attentive and professional. Our food was great and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant!”
“This is the BEST smoothie king in all of the DMV area. I’ve been to most smoothie king locations, but this one is set apart for smoothie quality (so good), atmosphere (spotless and quiet) and customer service. Every person who works here is so kind that I drive 20 mins away just for a smoothie at this location. Go see for yourself!”
“Absolutely creamy deliciousness. I especially love their coconut and their dark chocolate ice creams. They have a couple of nice benches in a garden right outside their door so that you can relax there with friends or family this making the whole thing an enjoyable experience.”
“The food was typical Panda Express not bad. The Atmosphere it's a military food court exchange area not exactly a restaurant. Service is always great here! Quantities of food are decent I got the spicy shrimp with vegetables and rice as sides.”
“It's always my top go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal. Whether it's their iconic Big Mac or a simple order of fries, the food always hits the spots. The convenient drive -thru and friendly service make it a reliable choice when I'm on the go. Can't best the taste and convenience!Parking: It depends at what time you visit there. Or go-thru is also good.”
“I love everything from this place, really clean and definitely the staff are always friendly they always make me happy because they help me all the time.Recommend this store”
“Quick lunch today at Panda Express while holiday shopping. Really busy, but we were able to quickly get us through the line. Everyone was pretty good behind the counter including the servers and the cashiers. Impressive given everything they have to deal with daily.Todays lunch was grilled teriyaki chicken with white rice. Delicious. Large portion and quite filling.Enjoy!”
“I was mistaken, and called Chick-fil-A for an ice cream cake for my dear sister’s baby shower because she was soon to have a baby girl Chick-fil-A did not have the available ice cream cakes I desired, but he was very nice and researched where I could get a sweet., delicious ice cream cake. Can you forward me after asking his informative Kahlig I wanted. I still have gotten a cake from Dairy Queen and so with that information I feel satisfied in this Chick-fil-A’s customer service. I wished him a good day.”

Olazzo
“If you find yourself in the Bethesda MD area I recommend checking out Olazzo. The best calamari I've ever tasted. Dinner and bread hit the mark. Anthony had eggplant Parmesan, linguine and sausage. The sausage was amazing. There were a couple other choices I wish I had time in town to try. Very quaint neighborhood restaurant. Server was attentive and very friendly.”

“Salmon with citrus roe. I’m a fan. The shopping center left me questioning the idea of buying sushi from a 7-11. This though is a separate business. I took it to Clara Barton’s house in case it wasn’t good and I needed a nurse, but it turns out not only is she not here right now, but the sushi was excellent.”
“In love with Mother nature bowl with steak!A friend took me with there, now I’m trying to use every chance to get there for the next bowl?. Amazing fresh healthy great combined bowl?”
“I wanted to post an update since my last review. I’m so impressed at the professionalism and follow up I received from the manager after my feedback. Ms. Robertson was thoughtful. Kind and helpful in discussing what happened and she also rectified the situation by providing gift certificates so we can have another opportunity to go back to the restaurant. Thank you for taking care of your customers. We are very pleased with this outcome.”
“The bakery was delightful! The staff lady was helpful. They were busy yet when I was greeted it was a good interaction. So much to choose from ??. I bought 2 bear claws, 2 twist donuts, and a cream Danish! I couldn't take a picture of it all - but just know it was delish ???.I'd go again if I'm ever in Bethesda or in Anne Arundel County. Next time I'd buy more Danish treats, Scandinavian bread, spinach quiche (they didn't have any at that time), and a muffin or two ?. I would absolutely recommend the shop to anyone.Parking: The parking is in front of the shops and extended parking is to the shops left, as you walk out. It has about <100 spots and a huge elevated parking garage (not sure if it's free or paid parking there.)”
“Visiting Bethesda from Idaho and THIS is the place to go for a great bite to eat. I mean, how often do you get to have some of the best hotdogs and brats you'll ever have, plus the flavor combinations for what they put on it has a food connoisseur like myself tearing up with joy. I had a bratwurst on 3 slightly toasted Hawaiian rolls with grilled onions, coleslaw (instead of kraut), and mustard. Wife had the cowboy with beef hotdog, cheese sauce, BBQ sauce, and topped with crushed fried onions. All I could say is wow that was really good food, and the service was awesome too. Can you believe you can actually get these 24hrs a day? This would be my go to weekend spot if I lived here. Thanks for the great food, service, and atmosphere you gave to us.”
“Yogitopi is awesome. It has a great variety of flavors and toppings. You can tell the staff does a great job to keep everything clean and take care of the store. And Pablo is so friendly and helpful! ”
“Great food and amazing service! My usual is the Little Italy on a wrap. I recently got the strawberry banana smoothie and it’s a great treat for a warmer spring day.”
“Great food. Plenty of healthy young to put in your bowl. Good service.Vegetarian options: Falafel and greensParking: Plenty of parking in the garage and lot outside the mall.”
“A great spot to get some work done, nice atmosphere, even in a busy weekend morning. Good seating options including an enclosed and heated outdoor patio. We had lattes, a cinnamon roll, and the avocado toast, all very good. I will absolutely be back!”
“I have been here for breakfast and lunch and it’s definitely my new spot for a breakfast sandwich. This place has excellent NYC Bodega vibes and it’s gonna be my neighborhood deli spot for as long as I live within walking distance.”
“Holy smokes I loved it!The only knock would be speed of cooking.... That's a very small penalty considering how good the food was and the depth of options offered. So many drink choices.... So many food choices....Size of portions was fantastic.Friendly staff.Location is easy to find and access.I got chicken tacos, carne asada, and Birria.Vegetarian options: Can customize to your needs.Dietary restrictions: Will certainly meet whatever needs you have.Parking: If you're in the area for the day, better to walk. If you're coming just to get this food, look for a paid spot nearby.Kid-friendliness: Extremely friendly for families.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access menu and window.”
“I love this place! I've only been for lunch and tried their salads and bowls, which are very tasty and portioned just right. The name is kind of misleading, because the menu is full of options that aren't tacos and don't have fish. They also have beer and margaritas.”
“Finding a place to eat gluten and dairy free is not easy. Especially one that tastes good. I love &pizza! Their topping options are also great. Lots of vegan things to choose from. The food is consistently amazing. I think I'm lucky to go in on the days Sterling works. He definitely cares about the customer experience. He delivers excellent service with a smile. I live between this location and Pike and Rose and choose this location because of the amazing service. Just a heads up, it's a smaller store and is takeout only.”
“Everything here was delicious!service is great here the owner is super kind.I only come to get my chicken from here no other placeKid-friendliness: children can come eat here as well family oriented”

Tastee Diner
“I was visiting Bethesda with the family and wanted something we don't have in central Illinois. After searching Google for help, I came across Tastee Diner, and it didn't disappoint. My wife had liver and onions, which she said was amazing. I went with the seafood platter. The oysters were good, as well as the flounder, clams, and shrimp. Kids ate breakfast food, and they were content, and its hard to satisfy all three of them. I would recommend this place to anyone. Quiet place, and the staff was awesome. 84 dollars for 6 people to eat can't beat it.”

“Best sandwiches in Bethesda. Very high quality ingredients. Imported meats and cheeses sliced with an old fashion slicer on great bread. Amazing.Great selection of imported pasta and other Italian items. All very high quality. The store is packed with imports. It is fun to see all the different types of pastas...The store has two small inside tables and a few outside seats. If the owner isn't in his cell phone is posted so you can contact him.”

“Been dining at Bacchus for decades and can't think of a bad thing to say. Occasionally service is slow but you could regard that instead as Middle Eastern "Leisurely" and enjoy your companions' sparkling conversation. They do eggplant several ways, all good. Don't miss the Bacchus eggplant dip. My DH thought he hated eggplant with a passion till he tried it - now he can't get enough! I'm a pescatarian and love small plates as I'm also ADD - this place is perfect for that. My family adore the shish taouk. And unlike many Mideast restaurants, you're not confined to Middle Eastern desserts - they've got a grand chocolate lava cake on the menu if baklava or knafeh aren't your thing. It's usually not noisy and the outdoor terrace is a grand place to sit on a fine afternoon or early evening once DST kicks in (like, now!). My only complaint is lunch ends at 2 and they're closed till 5, so if you want lunch, get there by 12;30. We once showed up at 1 pm and felt rushed by the staff. There, I found something to complain about! Thanks, Bacchus, for many great meals in pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. PS Fabulous ladies' room with mirrors that turn you into 100 images of yourself from every angle. :-)”
“We were having dinner with friends in Bethesda, but got there early so we decided to stop by this place for a margarita before going to the dinner. We had some spicy skinny margaritas and chips and salsa. Both the margaritas and the chips were great. We cannot speak to the rest of the menu, but will likely come back to try it out.”

“High quality food, service, and setting. Highly recommend the toro, maguro, and chicken teriyaki don bowl.I also really appreciate that the water cup is a full sized 24oz cup.To top it all off, some miso soup to conclude lunch rounded out an excellent experience. Grateful I stopped by and will come back several more times!”

“Had the most beautiful coffee moment this morning with Hasifa. She is an elegant and lovely woman. Starbucks is lucky to have her as an ambassador of its business.”
“We loved Jaleo and we think Jose Andres is wonderful - all his other restaurants and his humanitarian work-- but unfortunately we didn't love the food at Spanish Diner (apart from the croquettes & bread). It might just be that Continental/Spanish food is generally not to my taste. The gazpacho had cream and a slight bitter note; I prefer the tomato-colored light refreshing gazpacho that I've had elsewhere. The garbanzo and spinach stew was only okay, a bit bland; I plan to add spices to the portion I brought home. The other dish we ordered - roasted chicken - also didn't pop. The preparation of the food was well done; we just wanted more flavor. On the other hand, service was spot on and the atmosphere is nice.”

“ARIA IS TO BLAME... for me getting real fat. I get a lunch sandwich there at least once per week and have for the past 5 years. The food is consistent, delicious, and the lovely ladies who prepare it do so with care and precision. When they had you a sandwich, there is a genuine feeling that they appreciate you chose to eat at their establishment.”
“Any restaurant that can't accomodate a simple food request has some serious issues. They make scrambled eggs for MANY dishes, but asking for scrambled eggs on a dish that comes with a different type of egg is out of their wheel house. Please explain. The cashiers could use a little work, I don't think they have ever got my order right, thankfully I can see the order screen & correct them. It's really sad because the food is good.”
“The food was only ok, there is no indoor seating and they don't have traditional options for this type of place you would expect. The staff was very friendly However and they did compliment us with popcorn, which was really good, I have to add.”
“Crispy fried Chicken thighs and French fries were a 10/10!Seasoned well, highly recommend absolutely great paired with their wonderful ranch and hot sauce. The crab cake I didn’t have to have honestly. The lobster Mac was great but I didn’t like the taste of the actual lobster inside. Service was good. I will say the Water tasted funny to me, and the guest I ate with as well so I’d get soda next time.”

“I ate in for my birthday coupon (which, if you don't know is a FABULOUS deal. Sign up for Chef's Table!). I go every year, and this year, Ricardo was our chef. He was a great chef and cooked delicious food - exactly as we'd ordered. I was appalled at how the other guests at our table treated him - barking out tailored orders left and right at him. He handled it with astonishing grace and poise. I can't imagine trying to cook five meals and appetizers, doing a show, and having customers tell me personalized things they wanted all through the cooking. Ricardo, on behalf of my table's terrible manners, I offer my apologies and want you to know you did a fabulous job and showed much grace under pressure. I am sorry for the treatment you received. The meal was superb, even if our guests were not (two of the guests reeked so strongly of pot, we were gagging - even sitting across the table from them). Ricardo was a really great chef!”
“Loved the ambience, service was amazing, staff very accommodating but the dish I ordered was so overcooked it was hard to eat. Was disappointed. I would give Salt Line another try despite the bad experience with my food.”
“I love coming here for brunch after Barre class. I always find myself getting the same dish - which is the Bison Huevos Rancheros. Delicious! I love having some extra hot sauce on the side, too. I also ordered a side salad.I paired this with a passion fruit mimosa which was tasty and a caramel latte. Yum!Parking: Parking is free in the lots on Sunday”

“First going there with friends. Menu had options for various taste. Appetizers were great always import fort the first start chicken tenders and roasted cauliflowerMain dishes were also good. Everyone enjoyed their dinner pasta with chicken. Was not crowdedHighly recommend. We plan to go again and move this to the top of our list of local restaurants”

“I love Matchbox! We go almost every week and they have been amazing to me and my cardiac alert dog. Some places make it hard for me but I've never once had an issue here. They are totally fine with him just curled up under the table doing his job! Since I need him to live it's nice having a good go-to with great food and service!.”
“Originally from New England. Lived in NOVA (Woodbridge) now for 25 years. Had no idea Frank pepe pizza was 45 miles away. Had it for the first time since living here and almost cried ?? Delicious!”
“The ambiance is very intimate which is very much appreciated. The menu is very classic which I believe definitely helps in retaining the original taste of all their meals. I had the Hawaiian steak meal with mashed potatoes and (something green) which was a mixture of sautéed spinach, Brussels and some kind of aged shredded cheese. The mashed potatoes were so rich and creamy and I loved them so much! The steak was so succulent, which the perfect taste of sweetness and also savory. This is a classic dish I always get once a year. It was superb! Our waiter was also very attentive, and super helpful. 10/10!!”
“Very popular, often there’s a line, but they’re so efficient that it moves quickly. Quality is consistent and always first rate. One scoop is generous and sufficient for me.”
“Service is great, food is just decent. Fajitas were lacking and not great portions. Solid lengua tacos. Pricey overall for what it is. Good margarita that wasn’t crazy expensive. The chips and salsa were above average however.”
“Maman is my absolute favourite spot for a cozy coffee and pastry. The ambience is charming, the coffee is exceptional, and the pastries are divine. The staff are very kind, friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for those who are pastry lovers.Parking: It depends at what time you visit this place.”
“Super service coupled with fantastic authentic food. Easily the best Indian place in this area that we've had.Edit - if anyone is particularly craving a very spicy curry, go for the Vindaloo. We just went again today, March 10, 2024 and had that for the first time and it is phenomenal!”
