“I went to eat there with my church friends (there was a huge group). Lucy took all our orders. If we had any questions she explained things in detail. I think there were 25-30 of us. Then she gave us all our food. She worked sooo hard. She was sweating and kept being kind. She aplogized for small thinks like one person not having a fork. She was the best waitress ive seen. Ive never seen someone work so hard and be so gracious at the same time. Thanks for all your hard work Lucy! You went above and beyond for us! You deserve a raise!“

“Anju truly made our anniversary celebration a night to remember. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. They surprised us with a beautifully handwritten anniversary card—a thoughtful and personal touch that set the tone for the evening. As if that weren’t enough, they also treated us to celebratory drinks, both at the start and the end of our meal. It was a heartwarming gesture that made us feel incredibly valued as guests.
The food was an exquisite journey through modern Korean flavors. We started with the Half Chikin, perfectly crispy and tender, followed by Sogogi Mandu, which was bursting with flavor. The Seoul Fashioned cocktails were expertly crafted, providing the ideal balance of flavors to complement each dish. The Set of Three offered a delightful variety, while the Dolsot Bibim Bap was comforting and satisfying, bringing all the traditional flavors of Korea with a refined twist. The Ssam Board was a highlight, allowing us to create our own bites, each one as flavorful as the last. The Ori Jjajangmyeon and Jujube Sticky Toffee Pudding were both standouts, adding a unique and delicious twist to familiar Korean flavors.
Anju’s ambiance, attentive service, and culinary creativity made for a perfect evening. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience, especially for special occasions. Anju, thank you for making our anniversary unforgettable!“

“I am sure Korean food is the best when tasted in Korea. That's why I'm not a big fan of Korean restaurants abroad. However this one, Rice Bar in DC satisfied me for real. 다만 제 느낌에 1회용 숫가락이 좀더 크면 좋겠고 젓가락에 일본어 적힌 점이 아쉽.. 그래도 또 들리고 싶네요.“

“Highly underrated little spot. Great for takeout, I always get the tofu stew. Great kimchi too, I always like to order some extra on the side. Husband likes the chicken lunchbox with the corn and cheese. Love the gimbap too. Everything tastes homemade and fresh.“

“It’s official. SEOULSPICE is our kpop dance team’s new post-practice eating spot. It’s decorated so cutely inside and the food was great! We were served by Destiny, who treated us with the warmest energy and like we were best friends. Cannot recommend this location enough. Will 1000% be going back ASAP!“

“Following the reviews, we picked this place and we are so glad we did. We had the fish tacos, bulgogi bao buns, Korean chicken with rice, and steamed dumplings. Everything was delicious and made fresh. The place is very simple but has everything you need. Also, ordering is very easy using their tablet. Keep in mind they don't have a restroom for customers as they do mostly carry out but they have a couple of tables inside and outside. My wife even said she liked her fish tacos better than the fish tacos from the restaurant Fish Taco.“

“We passed by this place at least five times before finally deciding to give it a try—and I’m so glad we did! We customized our own bowls with noodles, chicken, and veggies, and I can honestly say I’ve never had such an incredible bowl of food! It was our last night in DC when we tried it, and we were kicking ourselves for not going sooner.
The flavors were absolutely spot-on, and I can't praise it enough.
Dear owner, please consider opening a location in the Bay Area, California!“

“Tired this place today. It was a 12 pm on a Thursday so when I pulled up was able to find parking on the street and order right away. It’s street parking so I’m sure during busy times it can be hard. I got the honey lemon pepper and hot honey wings. I must say I liked the crunch, it was fresh, juicy and had a nice sauce. I prob like the honey lemon pepper ones the best. I heard folks ordering plain I may try that because I do also love a good wing without all the sauces once in a while. Now the PRICE. ? it was like $19 for 10 wings - wings only no side or drink… They can atleast throw in one or the other. But good customer service and quick and easy way spot. I’ll prob try again. And maybe just get the 5 piece. lol j/k“

“This is one our all time favorite Korean restaurant. Cozy atmosphere. A perfect place to enjoy some soju with friends and family. They serve traditional family style Korean food, in large shareable portions. Family run business, and service had always been great.
From crispy pork, katsu combo, pancakes, to traditional style soups and homemade spicy paste are all very delicious.
Over the years, their prices has gone up a bit, but still within reasonable range.
Easy parking out in the shopping center where the restaurant is located.
Highly recommended by @WineDinenVacay“

“4.3? No. This place should be at least 4.7+.
I initially planned to go to a ramen shop nearby, but the wait was too long, so I randomly tried this place without any expectations. And wow, it was amazing! I was confused the whole time I was eating. The pork belly is on par with some of the best spots in Korea, and the bossam just melts in your mouth.
I've lived in Virginia and tried most Korean BBQ spots here, but I want to give this place the top spot. We ordered galbitang, a portion of pork belly, bossam, and naengmyeon, and we were stuffed—yet the total was only $79! Is this real? It's so affordable and delicious; I can't believe such a place exists. It’s so underrated and unknown. Please promote this place more, owner! The vibe is also trendy and perfect for young people.“

“It was a K I M C H E E’ 김치 kind of Thursday for me I temporarily got my KOREAN Food Fix in DC’s Woodbridge Area at BANGPOP! Food is excellent: I ordered Build Your Own build your own bibimbap, wings & Kimchi.“
“Feels about the closest you might get to a convenience store/deli that you might find in South Korea, in the DMV. The bulgogi wrap was incredible and also got a random wasabi rice snack thing that was super tasty and gave me that satisfying brain stem tingly feeling.
It’s almost like a speakeasy or something because you need to walk into the office building to the right of the Starbucks and then walk down a hallway on your left to locate it.“

“Got 4 different wings
1. Gangjeong
2. Golden Original
3. Honey Garlic
4. Spicy Galbi
all were good. If you like plain wings I would go with the original. I don’t think the spicy one was super spicy but it has spice in it. The honey was nice. Also got the dumplings but unfortunately I couldn’t eat them my friends thought they were pretty solid though. They were fast with making the food. It’s also a good late night bite option
Dietary restrictions: The place is halal ! Great for people who only eat that.“

“The real name of this place es Junie’s. I thought it was Kong Dog because that’s the name of the brand but no worries, the food is better! They have too many options to taste the flavors of Korean chicken.
My kids enjoyed the corndog (takis red and blue). I get the Taro Bubble Tea and the Brown Sugar Bubble Tea which are very flavored. I really recommend them.
They are inside the place with many other restaurants and convenience spots. The parking lot is huge and the atmosphere is quiet, the restaurant looks very clean too.
We will definitely come back!
Kid-friendliness: They offer high seat for kids and food
Wheelchair accessibility: There are enough space for wheelchair“

“Takorean was given a high endorsement from an associate of mine to try while in Washington DC. They were not wrong.Cleanliness. 4.5 of 5. The restaurant was well maintained and appeared very clean.Service: 3.5 of 5. Staff was professional but not talkative to the customers. A little more interaction would have been nice for a first trial run.Food quantity 5 of 5. I ordered the slaw bowl that had romaine slaw with some kimchi slaw. For the meat I had chicken. Additions were tomatoes, pickled daikon radish, and cilantro. A lot of food, left the restaurant full.Food quality 5 of 5. Every bite was full of flavor and pleasant. The aroma of the food matched the taste. Though late in the day when I solicited the restaurant, the food was still fresh, delicious, and delightful.Price: $$ 15-20 per person would be reasonable, I didn’t chose a lot of options that could increase one’s bill.Overall I would give this restaurant a 4.5 of 5“

“It's just a great local favorite for casual dining.
Feels like I'm in Korean, around a backstreet restaurant where everything is made out of wood and traditional comfort furniture.
Food was heartwarming, feels like a mom made it and not some business man following the Korean trends.
Only problem, don't go on busy weekends or else you'll have to wait an hour for food. Which is normal everywhere.“

“This is a great Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant; the service was great; the sauces were good; the raw foods were prepared in a very well manner. The cost of the meal vs current prices as a good bargain. We had a Saturday night dinner service and it was a short wait at the bar and we got our table. The staff was friendly. The only downsides were the bar area was right as you walk in and it seemed an afterthought. The place was loud with everything going on so not a romantic setting.“

“I've been there with my family, and both kids and adults liked the place. Feels like real home cooked meal, very tasty and authentic Korean food. The server was so nice, we spend a really great evening. We will come back to discover the other dishes.
Kid-friendliness: The server was very considerate about what the kids will like, as they knew nothing about Korean food.“
