“My wife and I came here for the first time and were seriously impressed. The service is next level, the staff is incredibly attentive, and even compared to other Korean BBQ spots that cook and cut the meat for you, the attention to detail here is just that extra 5% better.

The quality of the meat is easily the best we’ve had at any Korean BBQ in Northern Virginia. The sides also stood out, especially the crunchy potato (kind of like a hash brown), which we highly recommend. And the sauces are hands down the best we’ve had anywhere.

“As part of our DC visit, we treated six family members to a fantastic foodie night at Ingle Korean Steakhouse--a spot our son (who lives here) highly recommended, and he was absolutely right.
We were warmly welcomed by Natalie, our server, who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. She walked us through the menu like a pro--perfect for us first-timers--while getting us started with some delicious scallion salads.

We briefly considered doing the prix-fixe, but went with à la carte instead... and were really glad we did.

We kicked things off with a spread of shareables: steak tartare, ssam (lettuce wraps), scallion salad, wok-charred asparagus with garlic chips, corn cheese (sweet, cheesy, slightly indulgent goodness), sautéed mushrooms, jjamppong (a spicy seafood and beef noodle soup), doenjang jjigae (rich soybean paste soup with beef), and beef fried rice. A few of us added white rice to round things out.

For the main event, both tables went with the galbi (boneless short ribs), and our table also tried the jumulleok and the ribeye cap. Everything came out perfectly cooked to medium, then cut into bite-sized pieces and served--such a nice touch.

The vibe struck that perfect balance: upscale but relaxed, lively but not loud--easy to enjoy great conversation while still soaking in the energy of the room.

All in all, an outstanding pick for a family dinner. We'd go back in a heartbeat!“

“The service was top notch. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We were there for a birthday and my son's favorite is the marinated Kalbi and it typically always gets cooked last. Seeing that as my son was waiting the server said he would add a note to my reservation for the future so it gets cooked first so my son doesn't have to wait. :) The meat quality was excellent! I would say though since I been to this restaurant several times in the past, the amount of meat per the pre fixe menu definitely has decreased. In any case, excellent service and great meat quality! “Wow! There hasn’t been a good hibachi place near Vienna, and I’m so glad this place offers it now! Their Korean fried chicken has always been delicious, so I come here often. This time, I tried their new menu item — the Shrimp Steak Hibachi with extra shrimp. It was a bit sweet for my taste, but the portion was generous and it was really tasty. It’s much more affordable than fancy teppanyaki restaurants, and the value is amazing. I love that I can enjoy chicken, hibachi, tteokbokki, and beer all in one place. Highly recommend!“

“Solid korean street food. Dish is $13 which is crazy cheap but great food. You can order large variety of dishes and try sharing. Food also comes out pretty quick. The restaurant interior is shabby so not your usual date-night spot. But a quick and cheap decent korean street food.“

“IVY and ANDREA are the best waitresses there by far. 🇻🇳🇹🇭 It was my first time. IVY and ANDREA has great menu knowledge and ensured it was a great time. IVY and ANDREA were working hard, always cleaning, and having fun. They kept smiling! IVY and ANDREA kept the bar clean by making sure I had everything I needed for dining at the bar.

Those waitresses are AMAZING!!! ANDREA and IVY are beyond exemplary, very patient, and very friendly and informative with menu choices.

Every other employee there was mostly forgettable. Next time you go, ask to sit with them.

“$5.50 for an extra scoop of meat…why…

Other than that this place is extremely solid. The bulgogi is usually rich in flavor, veggies are fresh, rice is nice and soft.

My order: white rice, bulgogi, half cucumber, half carrot, creamy sriracha? Chipotle?, sesame oil and seeds. Then when I get home I cook an over easy egg and throw it in. Lasts me three delicious meals!“

“Entrees are a $17 and up but the portions are big. It's a food court so I only tipped 10% but I guess you could also not tip. Pictures show 3 entrees but we got 4. Two of them were the bolgogi beef.

If we had gone to a restaurant then it would have cost more than $120 but here it was $80. My seafood ramen was good and huge. Husband enjoyed his katsua chicken and dad & son enjoyed their bulgogi rice bowls.

It was very good and the gentlemen that I picked up the food from , was very nice and friendly. and the place looked beautiful on the inside . “You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“This place’s jjolmyeon is amazing. I had it last week and was blown away by how fresh and chewy it was.
Today I tried the spicy tuna gimbap, tuna gimbap, and rose tteokbokki, and once again—so impressed.
I’m so happy I found this great spot.

“I have been searching for a place that could make dumplings that tasted like my hominis since she passed away. I have found it here, I will never go anywhere else. When it comes to authentic Korean food this is the place to go. Everything is delicious“

“I can say this is one of my personal favorite to go, especially during summer when it’s so hot outside and I am craving for something to cool down.

Owners are very friendly and always greet you with smile. It’s a self-serve restaurant in a food court, but they answer your questions in a nice manner and appreciates you dining with them.

The food is so gooood. Cold buckwheat soba is a must-try here, especially during summer. There is a bowl of sauce that you mix wasabi and minced raddish, and you put buckwheat noodles into the sauce and eats it from there. Other buckwheat noodle dish are solid as well if you want something warm or hot to heat you up.

Over the summer, I go to this restaurant at least once a month, if not more. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to eat healthy noodles with diverse flavor.“

House of Milae is one of my favorite restaurants in Bethesda and I love the mix of korean dishes and meals. I really appreciate the staff showing me which recipes on the menu were vegetarian friendly since I am a vegetarian. “I had rented a karaoke room for myself and I thought the price was reasonable, though I'm not sure how long you could stay in it but I was in there for about 2 hours- not bad. I had the Tteok-bokki, which the serving size was in a large plate and it was a good size because I thought it was too big for just myself but I finished it. “Unassuming exterior. Delicious delicious delicious food. Since I moved to the US from Korea 7 years ago, I’ve never been able to find a great bunsik (분식) place. That is, until now. This place is even better than most places in Korea nowadays.

We ordered the Holic Sampler + Udon. I was shocked at how tasty everything was. The sundae (순대) isn’t the most typical frozen kind. The 김말이 is clearly made in-house. The fried dumplings were full of filling, and overall the tempura (튀김) was light and very well executed. The kimbap was some of the best I’ve had in the US, with a very generous portion of egg inside. Udon was on-point, I appreciated the addition of 쑥갓 (I wish they gave more, but many places don’t give you any). And on top of it all, this place has great prices compared to other places serving similar fare.

If you’ve never tried bunshik, or if you’re a Korean living in the US with a years-long unfulfilled craving, I would definitely recommend this place.“

“Great Korean spot! The army stew came in a huge portion — easily enough for 3–4 people to share. The pork katsu was a bit on the harsh side for my taste, but still decent. It’s a solid place for late-night eats, especially for night owls, but keep in mind that although they close at 2, the kitchen shuts down a little earlier.( Been there once around 11, was told their kitchen was closed) Overall, good food and worth checking out!“

The fried food is always white, not dark cause the oil changed and not just topped off. I never had any problem with the staff or service cause I treat them with respect. We have been trying to go here with no success. There is never amy parking even after sitting in the parking lot for 15 mins waiting on someone to come out. Surrounding parking areas are blocked off or have towing signs posted. We will keep trying to go, however, since the reviews are good.“
