“Clean store with wonderful staff. Excellent quality of product on the shelves and the seafood is off the charts. I love that there is so much prepared fruit and vegetable that make weekday meals easier. I look forward to making this a regular stop.“

“Their donkatsu is massive! It's the thinner, old school Korean style donkatsu, which I really enjoyed. The sauce was flavorful, and the cold noodles paired really well with it. If you're craving nostalgic Korean style donkatsu, this is definitely worth trying.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the salt bread because I prefer mine a little more buttery. This one was chewier, with a clean, subtle flavor and a nice nutty richness. It just wasn't my personal preference.
The melon bingsu was huge and could easily be shared by three people. It was refreshing and made a great dessert to finish the meal.“

“The chiken good! Yea, but. The Rose Tteok Bokki was good. Hold on thoug! The water was amazingg! Best water I’ve had of all time. This water tastes likes…. like silence finally speaking—clean, weightless, and impossibly alive against the tongue.
It moves through the mouth like a memory you didn’t know you had, something ancient and familiar, as if your body recognizes it before your mind does.
There is a softness to it, a kind of invisible clarity that feels less like drinking and more like being restored, cell by cell, into something simpler.
Good water carries no flavor, and yet it holds the echo of stone, rain, and distance, as though it has traveled the world just to arrive here, unchanged.
In that moment, it is not just thirst that is quenched, but a quiet, unspoken longing to return to something pure and unbroken.
And somewhere beneath that purity, there lingers the faint reminder that everything living depends on it—and eventually returns to it.“

“It’s a very small space, so I recommend going during non-peak dining hours if possible.
One thing I appreciated was that they offer a halal section, which was a nice bonus.
That said, the topping labels were inaccurate or unclear, making it difficult to tell what everything was. For first-time visitors, the ordering process can be confusing, and I think clearer instructions or signage would help. On a busy day, there were quite a few customers wandering around trying to figure out the process, which added to the overall chaos.
Overall we will go again because my kids enjoyed it.“

“Hands down one of the best spots in town.
I had an amazing dining experience at Morak. The food here is simply phenomenal—every bite was a burst of flavor. You can tell the chefs really care about the quality and presentation. The ambiance was lovely and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. I will definitely be a regular here. Highly, highly recommend!“

“Decided to give it a try based off a lot of online hype, and was not disappointed. The gimbap was competitively priced, but fairly portioned. They have some flavor selections I had not tried before like spicy anchovy and nuts, which was delicious. Though the chicken didn’t appear to be traditional Korean fried, it was still crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, accommodations simplified to self serve utensils and beverages, which mad things convenient, ambiance felt comfortable. All in all I’d give it a thumbs and would recommend to friends and family.“

“The lunch special at Honey Pig BBQ was a satisfying meal. We ordered the cold noodles and galbitang (갈비탕), and both were perfect comfort food in their own way. The cold noodles were refreshing, chewy, and flavorful—great for a warm day—while the galbitang was rich, comforting, and packed with tender meat. The lunch portions were generous, reasonably priced, and came out quickly, making it a great option if you want a filling Korean meal before/after shopping at Hmart next door :)“

“20260529 Wow! I haven't been here in 8 years! I came for the pork rib soup. It was huge!! And delicious!
8 yrs ago...Authentic Korean Food... my friends and I often are the only non-Koreans there. This just shows how authentic and delicious the food is. I tried the blood sausages for the first time there... now, I really like them with the salt and hot pepper sauce. I love the short rib soup, and I had it with rice. It is very tasty. I also love the beef bugogi. It is made in a hot pot, baked. The rice touching the pot during baking is crispy and has a tasty flavor. My friend and I also got the dinner portion of pig feet. That was nothing out of the ordinary. No seasonings was used to cook them. Everything I tried is delicious. Highly recommended. The prices are dinner prices. Expect to spend about $20 including tips of you order the minimum.“

“This place is located in the LOTTE shopping center in the food court to the right. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while shopping at LOTTE; the rice cake soup was phenomenal. Some of the best Korean soup I’ve had and the sweet-and-sour pork was very good with a very good portion. Enjoyed the food very much.“

The tofu kimchi was outstanding, the noodle soup had a comforting and refreshing broth, and the bibim noodles had amazing flavor and seasoning. “Delicious soup and side dishes. Their pork hansang rice dish is superb. I don't know what seasoning they put on it, but it's so flavorful. “Literally EVERYTHING on their menu is DELICIOUS! I Love the teriyaki chicken, the beef bulgogi, and their chicken pesto panini 🤤 They are also very very generous with the amount of food you get. For example their chicken panini has a HUGE piece of Chicken breast in it and the mozzarella cheese are HUGE and thick fresh slices. The word "skimpy" is unknown here 🤤 They have an AMAZING drink selection as well. Really love how many different types of Green Tea they have. If you have a chance to stop by or you're close by, I highly recommend you give it a try. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas.“

“Came here with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. The kimchi is hands down the best I’ve had in the area — fresh, perfectly spicy, and not overpowering. I had the beef tofu stew, which was delicious with just the right level of heat. We also split the pork appetizer three ways, and it was a generous portion — more than enough as a side. On top of that, the food came out in about 5 minutes and still tasted fresh. Quick service and great food — we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!“

“The best Korean restaurant in the area(probably best in VA)!
It is hard to find good Korean restaurant where main and side dishes are good, but this is the one. I eat here many times when I am craving for authentic Korean foods.all the servers are kind and know what they are doing.
This is Korean BBQ place with other Korean dishes, it is pricy like other BBQ places, but I think it is worth my money.
Only thing I do not like is, when you are there at a peak time, you have to wait. Also it can be very loud like typical Korean BBQ just like in Korea with people drinking alcohols but no biggie.“

Would strongly recommend eatting here!“

“Brought a party of 4 to Bonchon for the Tuesday $1 wing special and, as always, the wings were absolutely delicious. We ordered a large amount of wings along with cucumber salad, rice, and coleslaw. Unfortunately, the coleslaw never got brought out.
The food itself was great and the Tuesday wing special is honestly one of the best deals around. That said, the customer service could definitely improve. When our server brought out our 4 drinks, she placed them all on the opposite end of the table from where we were sitting, which came across as oddly passive aggressive and inconvenient. Also, throughout the meal, the server never once checked in to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything else — something that’s pretty standard at most restaurants, especially considering we eat here regularly.
Overall, the food quality and value keep us coming back, but the staff could really benefit from additional customer service training and better food service best practices.“

“This place has the soondae that is region specialty. It is going to be a hit or a miss for a lot of people especially non-Koreans. But what I can say is it is very close to how it tastes at a good restaurant in Korea. I am a fanatic for soondae and jokbal and this place food was really good. This place is 1.5 hours from me and I'd drive the distance to just eat this and drive back.“
