“We love coming here! It's great value and delicious. We haven't tried a dish here that we didn't like. The cashier is the best, we really should know her name by now since we visit so often. She's always so friendly and helpful when we need help navigating the menu. She'll give you recommendations and descriptions which is so nice to someone who isn't familiar with Korean Food.We love coming here because it's so casual and relaxed. We know that when we come here, we'll head home feeling warm with our bellies full and smiles on our faces. Our faves: Donkatsu, Budaejigae which is Army Stew, Jjajangmyeon with Tangsuyuk (a must try combo), Jjampong and Griiled Fish. We love how everything has side dishes, it's just so fun.“
“I congratulate this manager and his work team! They have the store in excellent condition. Just seeing ALL the products organized, clean and easy to access is the best! I fell in love when I saw this supermarket! I don't give them 5 ⭐️, because I came to look for the Bread Flour ?? that I have always bought here... and I found this very high increase. I was disappointed not to be able to take my bread flour! I hope they can do something to lower that price ????? Here you can find Latin and Asian products of excellent quality! I recommend it!“
“This is my new chicken sandwich spot. The spicy chicken sandwich is just too freaking good, although I think it's a lunch special only item. Every time I come here both the gentlemen that man the front counter depending on who is working are always so nice and welcoming. The seating area is always clean. I suggest calling and ordering ahead because it does take some time to get the food ready (about 15-20 minutes). If you love extra crunchy and crispy chicken look no further.“
“I did a carry out. Being my first time, I was given recommendations by what looked to be an owner/operator. He was very accommodating as was the young lady present who was doing most of the cooking. The food were fresh and delicious. A huge thumbs up!“
“The wings are excellent, we get Korean BBQ and the garlic ones. Kids can handle those without being too spicy. Seasoned fries are great as well. We're regulars there, the service is great. Nicholas and the owner make us feel at home. Very friendly and the kids love Nicholas!Kid-friendliness: Excellent service for kids and very accommodating. Nicholas is our friend and the kids enjoy seeing him there regularly!“
“Picked it up and on my 12 min drive home, it didn't get cold at all and stayed crispy till the very end. So pleased with the way they packaged it and more importantly, VERY pleased with the taste/quality of the wings! Would definitely order again. Hope the business can keep this up!“
“A worker accidentally made a reservation for my party on the weekend and FYI they do not accept reservations on the weekends for parties less than 6. I didn’t know until I got there and they told me and I had to wait. Fortunately they gave my party the next available table due to the misunderstanding and free beverages. They handled it very well and respectfully. The meat quality and service is also the best for kbbq in nova. Will always be coming here“
“These are the friendliest people in the food business. The food is good, served quickly and always with a smile, respect, and sometimes even a song. This has been a standard lunch spot for me ever since I started working in Tysons every day.“
“My favorite Korean restaurant in DMV area. Very friendly staff and the food is AMAZING! They have so much different things on the menu especially something hard to get from other Korean restaurants. Whatever you are craving for, it is here. They also really appreciate the customer from out of town cause they know that we have to make a drive to come here for the food. Only thing is I am a little far away so I have to come here only during weekends, wish they are right down the street from my home.Thank you for scrumptious food.Nothing to complain about this place. Every time I am here I go home with full belly and happiness.“
“The food is delicious! The popcorn chicken and slider apps are amazing! The half & half wings are really good. I got garlic & spicy. You can literally hear the crunch from the chicken!!!I’d definitely come again.Vegetarian options: I got a tofu salad and it was delicious too!“
“I went to the new Ashburn Honey Pig last weekend and it was soooooooo good! The decor is lovely and the staff was great. But the food... We ordered the spicy pork belly and the bulgogi and they were to die for! The sides were also delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“We visited this restaurant some time ago and really enjoyed it, particularly the high-quality pork meat. We are fans of Korean BBQ and have tried out many restaurants in Northern Virginia, particularly those that offer all-you-can-eat BBQ. This one stands out as one of the best; their meat is of good quality and delicious.“
“We were over in the shopping center for a small car show, and we decided to try Kare Bar for the first time; the space is really nice and cute, and the staff is great. We got the salmon salad, tuna tartare, salmon tartare, and miso glazed eggplant; everything was excellent - very fresh. We loved the dressing on the salmon salad and thought that both of the tartare dishes were seasoned right and weren't too spicy; I would recommend both the tuna tartare and the salmon tarte. I am glad we decided to try it! We will he back again for sure.“
“MGK is a hidden gem tucked away in the southeast area of the shopping center. Definitely the go-to place for fresh kimbap. Service has always been exceptional for us. Thank you for your delicious food, generous portions, and varied selection MGK! Enjoy!!“
“This was a first time experience for me and my family. It was amazing! The food was wonderful and the wait staff were very friendly. Our server was attentive and very patient, and took time to make sure we understood what was happening (it is a very interactive experience) and what was being served (as well as suggestions on combining food). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! I am looking forward to visiting again, with a larger group of people (and a designated driver)!“
“I put in an Uber One order and the food was prepared quickly and packaged securely. I was anticipating trying their famous sweet & sour pork (my favorite) , but. I really didn’t like the taste of the sauce. Very disappointing. It was very different from what I’m used to. The fried pork was breaded with glutinous flour? It was good! The sauce lacked sourness, but was too sweet for my taste. It tasted like soy sauce and honey. Maybe, I had a bad batch? The fried rice was good! I will revisit another time and try something else.“
“Wow, the chefs here are truly remarkable! ????? Their expertise in both traditional Korean dishes and Korean Chinese fusion cuisine not only satisfies my palate but also fills me with happiness. My favorite is jjamppong (Korean seafood noodle soup) and it’s just so GOOD!!! I will definitely come back and I so happy to find this place “
“TL;DR: small menu but everything is done well. Fast service and generous portions. We always love trying a place that does jokbal/soondae. We came here on a Friday evening, and it was packed! Also note, they close pretty early at 7:30PM. Interior has a good amount of tables, but they're fairly close to one another, but not bad since the food comes out very quickly. FOOD: ~Soondae (4/5): not the best soondae I've ever had, but still a solid choice. The flavor was more mild, but when using the salt or sawoojjut, it was pretty tasty ~Jokbal (4.5/5): The portion was HUGE! And it was so soft and flavorful. I like that they give you all the pieces of the hock and not just the the cut part ~Gam Ja Tang (4/5): you get a huge portion of the pork which was very tender. Because the pork bone was so big, there wasn't as much soup but it was still very good Overall, worth the visit, and I would definitely come back here and try other items on their menu!“
“This is a popular Korean BBQ restaurant located in Fairfax, and unlike the typical all-you-can-eat restaurants, they serve combo menus. The meats are delicious, and their seafood pancake is also great. The ambiance is lively and youthful, giving the feel of being at a night market in Korea. However, the wait time can be quite long, although the service is decent.Parking: The parking lot is free, but it tends to fill up quickly.“
“We had a karaoke birthday party for my teenager, and the kids had a great time! We got a party package where they provided a large private karaoke room, 3 pizzas, and soda for 15 people. (Warning: 15 teenagers singing their hearts out at the same gets LOUD!) Chorus had it set up so that you could either use their karaoke system or switch to YouTube, so the kids were able to sing anything they wanted. There were also other features (too many to list) that made the karaoke way more special than anything we could do at home. The place was clean, and the people working there were very kind and helpful.“
“Food is wonderful, only issue is when ordering on line for pick up double check your order before you leave. Last 3 times items have been missing. The staff has always been gracious and quick to fix issue, but if your driving a long way to pick it up, you will be upset having to go back for missing items. But again food is delicious and staff extremely friendly and helpful“
“I really like the food here, especially the bulgogi and chicken teriyaki boxes. The complimentary sides you get with the box are quite refreshing, especially the kimchi, which I ended up finishing in one bite. The meats here are quite succulent, and I love how the juices drip onto the rice to create this popping, umami flavor. Green tea here was a nice refresher to satisfy my hunger.“
“If you are in the Fairfax area, Bebop is a must-try. I really like their selections of bulgogi burgers, the bulgogi rice bowl with purple rice, and the ambience of the restaurant, which is decorated with old music albums. Friendly service. I would also recommend trying out their turkey bacon topping on their burger.Overall, this is a great place if you are looking to try an unique type of burger, and if you are a fan of bulgogi like I am.Dietary restrictions: Turkey bacon instead of pork bacon. Can accommodate with some of the toppings, but definitely ask the server.Parking: It is in a shopping center right by Party City.“
“Our first experience with Korean BBQ but not our last. While all KBB seem to have similar menus I was drawn to Honest because of its seats. My wife suffers with osteoarthritis and Honest was the only restaurant I called which had padded booths. The mundane out of the way down to the serious business of food. In a word, magnificent and lots of it for the two of us. I wondered why KBB restaurants were expensive but rest assured there's enough food for dinner and lunch the next day, for two. And then there're the side dishes, sauces and salad all of which blend together into a culinary symphony. And to pull it together two Korean lads who approached BBQing the dinner with surgical precision.and the Korean Cheese Cake, who knew.Well done, we'll be back.“
“We came to try this place on a Monday and overall it was a great experience. The servers were really nice and kind. We did the AYCE and the tried different types of meat. The meats were fresh, high quality and delicious. The pace of the food coming out was good and we didn't feel rush. We loved the atmosphere and will come back again.Kid-friendliness: All the servers were trying to keep our kids entertained and were really friendly“
“Best Korean restaurant in the area. Whether you’re dining solo or with family - the service here was excellent! Staff was very engaging with my children and didn’t skimp on the wonderful side dishes (salad, miso soup, kimchi). Food was exceptional. This is the place you are looking for.“
“Had dinner here with a friend recently and the sushi was incredible! Beautiful display, great flavor, and super friendly staff. The background music kept cutting in and out, but I don’t think that’s their fault. Can’t wait to come back again!“
“The service here is wonderful! When the server brought over our meat selection, we were informed that their policy has changed, and they do not cook for the table. I explained to the staff that we were not comfortable in cooking for ourselves, and had I known that their policy had changed, we would not have came. The staff was so wonderful and accommodated our request. Thankfully it was Super Bowl Sunday and the restaurant was quite empty. The service was quick and everything was delicious. But have to cook on your own. It’s a bummer that their policy had changed and I likely won’t return here again. But will still recommend it to others who don’t mind the cooking part of the experience.“
“K Bobsang is a Korean eatery located inside the Lotte supermarket, as part of their food court. Their menu offers various Korean eats such as galbi tang, kimchi juhn, chungukjahng, dduk galbi, etc. They also feature daily specials, such as 'Hamburg Steak', daegu maeun tang (spicy codfish stew), etc. We came here for a later lunch, and we ordered: +Kimchi Juhn - kimchi pancake; this doesn't come with sauce, but you can request a cup of their yangnyum gangjang for some dipping; note that this kimchi juhn contains piece of pork, which I didn't know; more on the bland side, but the hubs enjoyed this +Chung Guk Jahng - I really enjoyed this soy bean stew, which uses super fermented soy beans; definitely an acquired taste! It wasn't as thick as I'd like, but the flavor was yummy and great with the bowl of rice that comes with; filled with lots of tofu, mushrooms, and potatoes +Yuhl Moo Bibim Guk Soo - a spicy noodle dish with radish kimchi; this was more on the sweeter end; noodles were prepared perfectly, but wished this was more spicier and more savory There was marinated seaweed salad and kimchi served as banchans. Service was very kind and friendly. Note that this place gets slammed during the lunch and dinner rush - you'll see ahjummas, ahjushees, harabujees, and halmunees all lined up, getting their stews, bibimbops, and soups - definitely a popular spot! Since they have a small kitchen, orders are usually backed up, and you'll be waiting at least 30+ minutes or so. Plenty of seats at the food court area, and plenty of parking in the plaza lot. +Chung Guk Jahng +friendly service +located inside Lotte +plenty of parking“
“I ordered the smash burger and kimbap. The kimbap was solid and portion size was big. The smash burger was overall a decent burger but I wouldn't call it a smash burger. The patties aren't thin enough for it to give that texture that smash burgers are known for and there's too many toppings that went into it making it quite messy. Their other dishes looked appetizing and will need to try it next time.“
“10 wings per order. The snow onion chicken wings are the best ones. They just hit like no other. The crunch and freshness of the onion and the creaminess of the sauce with the savory salty taste of the fried chicken is great!I definitely frequent this whenever I crave fried chicken. I always order online just for ease and pick up after 20 minutes.“
“I love coming here because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable. There is a great variety of meats that are well seasoned and specific to this place, not all Korean bbqs like the orange bulgogi. The tables are spread fat enough that you're comfortable and relaxed. It's not loud k pop music like other restaurants. I like to take my family and my staff here. Julia in particular is our favorite server. She's friendly, attentive, gives great recommendations, and can make great cocktails. I highly recommend this place and be sure to ask for Julia.“
“Tilly Kitchen, a standalone building near Lotte Plaza, houses a restaurant serving mainly Korean food and other fusion dishes and a snack shop selling delicious drinks and small bites. An excellent food hall in the parking lot near Lotte Plaza provides ample dining options after grocery shopping. We ordered food from the Savory section and then moved to the drink section to get refreshing drinks. Everything was delicious! The place was clean and tidy, and I highly recommend it.Kid-friendliness: It's a spacious place with food for all ages.“
“I've had good experiences with this place and always order from here when I go to this HMart. We have tried the soups to the stir fry's and they have all been good. I'm not sure what people expect from a food stall in a grocery store! For what it is, it's pretty good.“
“We have been coming to ToK for over 6 years now. We found this place when we live in Fairfax and we will eat there every weekend. Now, we live in Stafford, so we only come once every couple of months. Although, they changed their service method from restaurant to a combination of fast food. The food is still amazing, and the portions are enough. For Korean food lovers, I highly recommend it. I have never had any issues with the food or customer service.“
“I went to Choong recently to pick up dinner before going home. Truly impressed. I got a 5 piece with regular fries. I believe the 5 pieces was a part of the happy hour menu. I tried the spicy garlic wings. They were fire. Point blank. They give you a sold amount of fries as well. Look forward to going back. The cashier was super friendly. Looks like they have solid options for happy hour drinks.“
“We've tried many different places that sell Korean corn dogs and Gold Miss is one of the better ones. They are made to order so a bit of a wait after you order, but they come out hot and crispy. If you order it with cheese inside, it's nice and gooey. The outside is like a donut texture. It's so good!“
“As expected, the kimbap is famous... but the people working there seem to be very tired, so they all have expressionless expressions and are silent. Only working Spanish people smile. The restaurant's lighting and colors are dull, and the impression is dull, so it's not enjoyable for eaters. If you smile, you will be blessed.. “
“Wow. You think that in a food court in a supermarket it would be just be OK. But better than most full sit down Korean restaurant anywhere. Like Michelin star good. Blows me away how good it was. Bibimbap is my go to. And this was probably the best dolsot/dolpan Bibimbop I’ve ever had. That’s probably out of hundreds I’ve “
“My family and I stopped by while traveling thru town. We ordered Bulgogi and Dak Kalgooksoo. Their Banchan were flavorful with the right balance of spice and heat. Entrée portions are generous. Our server was helpful and very nice. We were pretty happy to find this restaurant.“
“Conveniently located near Loews and Burlington in Fairfax, this Korean-style Chinese restaurant serves good Jjajangmyeon (Black bean noodles) and Tangsuyook (Fried pork with sweet sauce) that are generously proportioned. The decor is a bit old, but it is a good restaurant to visit when you crave these dishes.“
“Went on a whim to gom shabu shabu since it was 15min away from me and it was delicious. Thankfully I had been to a hot pot place recently and realized that they have all the broth spices and meat dipping sauces on a island buffet in the middle, so I didn't miss out on that this time! The waitress came by to take our order almost immediately and everything came out right quick after we would ask for something. She even filled our broth without asking. Would definitely come again“
“The Sichuan Legend Hotpot and more is new a management. They take care of their guests like family, Nicole our server is very sweet. The ambiance, food and service is wonderful. Their menu consists of hotpot and more. We tried the hotpot and loved it, will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. Thank you and keep it up. ??“
“Best fried chicken place in town. I visited here during lunch hour. I tried French delight for an appetizer and their new bbq signature rice bowl. Was little spicy but with mayo and rice, it was great! Their atmosphere is nice and clean. It was busy during lunchtime, but the server who served us was friendly.“
“My husband and I were out on a date night. We were spontaneous and just picked a restaurant on the fly.We ended up at BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill. It was outstanding! My husband ordered the Korean Chicken Bowl with purple rice. He said it was very good, I tried some and he was right!I ordered the Bulgogi Cheese Steak Sandwich. It was over-the-top outstanding! We also shared an order of Mexican Fries, very yummy and spicy! We are so pleased with BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill. The man behind the counter was very nice, he explained a lot the menu to us since it was our first time.We highly recommend BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill in Ashburn, VA.We will bring our daughter here on family night and we will tell our friends as well!Thank you BEBOP Korean-Mexican Grill for the great food and service too. ❤️Dietary restrictions: N/AParking: Parking is great!Kid-friendliness: N/AWheelchair accessibility: N/A“
“This is my go to spot for soondooboo jjigae (spicy tofu stew). The soup is always v flavorful and the silken tofu is so soft. I love that they give you a raw egg to crack into the hot stew - the stew comes in the stone pot so it stays hottt for a while. They also have meat dishes like bulgogi and galbi that are p good too.“
“I was happy to find this new restaurant in Centreville specializing in pork dishes (as well as other Korean dishes). Pork soup and Jockal (pig's trotters) were tasty, served with numerous side dishes and fresh lettuces. Overall, it's a very clean place with delicious Korean dishes, and I highly recommend it.Parking: This place has plenty of parking spaces in front and around as it locates in Centreville Square area.“
“came with my few friends to eat at the hmart food court and we have no regrets!! we were to spend a day in DC but decided to eat local first.we ordered the Mala Tteokbokki with suspicions because mala is a very strong sichuan spice flavor. it was ~$22.00 total for the medium size. the mala tteokbokki came with 2 fried noodle dumplings, shredded green onions, grilled brisket, one egg, glass noodles, long rice cakes (that you can cut up with given scissors), fish cake, carrot, onion, and cabbage. this blew our mind since it was really not spicy at all!! there was definitely the infamous mala aftertaste but it made my mouth water for more HAHA. towards the end of the meal, the spice DID build up but not too much. it also depends on your spice tolerance and the three of us eat spicy food well.everything was cooked pretty well but the glass noodles were so-so. i cook these at home too when i'm craving homemade tteokbokki or ramen or home made hot pot, so i make them softer and chewier. the glass noodles were a bit harder to chew, but not too bad!! still very much enjoyed the meal :)) this is definitely my favorite now. i've tried the original, the black bean version, the rose, but mala beats them all. i recommend also ordering a side of fried assortments to dip and enjoy more or order [cheesy korean corn dog right across from this stand :)) service was very helpful and quick. the man that took our order was kind and patient and happens to also help run the korean corn dog spot too !“
“I got a large order of baekseolgi and songpyeon for my daughter's baekil here and the quality was phenomenal! It was moist, soft, and chewy - definitely the best baekseolgi I've ever had. When my husband and I placed the order, we got a couple corn dogs to go. They were delicious! I got a half mozz/half cheddar Two-Hands dog with sweet ranch and my husband got a beef Spicy dog. I can't wait to go back for more dogs and tteok!“
“They had the biggest and crispest Korean fried wings I've had in VA. Service was amazing, food is a bit pricey, but for the quality you'll see that it's worth every penny. Definitely recommend this place to all looking for good “
