“This was my second time having kpot, first time at this location . Buffet was all that! Especially the fried chicken & they were so accommodating bc we really only like flats & they provided us with that with a smile. It was clean. And the food came so fast!Only thing I’d like them to add that my first kpot experience had was a picture of good sauce options you can make.“
“This is a fun place for a celebration! We rented a private karaoke dining room on a weekday evening. The music was fun with a good selection of popular tunes, and the room was the perfect size for a small group - well equipped for both dining and partying. The food was both unique and delicious - we particularly recommend the Qiqihar beef. There was also an excellent selection of cocktails and flavored iced teas. Shout out to our server, Patrick, who took good care of us and had a great singing voice to boot!Kid-friendliness: Not recommended for small children, as the karaoke screens would often auto-play songs with less-than-optimal lyrics.“
“Very delicious and home cooked jjajangmyeon that was very clean and not greasy tasting with great prices. Lots of fresh sides and lots of ingredients in the jjajangmyeon. Loved the cozy and authentic feeling of restaurant and very comfortable dining experience. The owners are hardworking and kind and the service was very good even though the restaurant seemed to be understaffed when I went. Very authentic. Thanks for the good meal on a rainy day.“
“Stayed at a local hotel and ordered from Door Dash. SECRET SPICY CHICKEN was great. Pretty much like General Tso's Chinese but a tad spicier. Large pieces of good quality chicken, even the medium order was too much for me. Pair it with steamed white rice, put the rice in the sauce. Very good.“
“One of our fave Korean restaurants in Maryland. We only come with friends so that we can share the food, family style. The combo with bossam and gamjatang is our fave dish to order. The tonkatsu was surprisingly really good and the portion was huge! Bibimbap and cold noodles are great too.“
“Iron Age is my go-to spot for Korean barbecue in Rockville MD! The quality of the meats is top-notch, and the variety of banchan is impressive. Whether you're a barbecue pro or trying it for the first time, Iron Age offers a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.“
“The service and atomosphere was wonderful. The owner and staffs were deligent and tried to deliver our requests fast. The food was great, especially brisketand pork belly. I recommend this restaurant when you want to eat K-BBQ this area.+ It was clean and not that noisy. It was good for friend and family gathering.“
“I love pike kitchen! The vegan bulgogi bibimbap is the best, I am excited to try the vegan dosirak next. They handled an issue with my uber eats order very professionally and kindly. The issue was on ubers end but uber refused to refund me (surprisingly) so Pike Kitchen made it right instead. I really appreciated their understanding of the situation. That level of customer service inspires me to order from them more often for sure. I hope they can expand their veggie options as they are so delicious, healthy and fresh.“
“SO. GOOD. Amazing portions for the prices, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and balanced, and I enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. Loved every single dish, and we crushed all the banchan. Everyone here was also really friendly and attentive. We got the Korean pancake as an appetizer; my husband ordered the spicy chicken bulgogi; and I got the hot beef bibimbap. Cannot recommend this place enough. A little hidden Korean gem in Rockville!“
“This seems to be a "real Korean" restaurant. There is a menu full of interesting choices. There is a lot of food with whatever option you choose. I went for lunch. There was a "lunch special." But, there wasn't anything special about the lunch menu prices. It was priced like any of the dishes on the regular menu. The service was nothing special as well. There were some older ladies working there who greeted me enthusiastically. But, they mostly disappeared after that. I reviewed the menu and waited longer than I wanted to place my order. I kept it simple with a Bibimbap. I've had many in my life. This one was OK. I've had better. It came with a bowl of rice and four (4) Banchan. Banchan are side dishes of vegetables. Those were good. I like the idea of Banchan. I ate my food. No one came to ask me if it was good, or if I needed anything. I finished and waited for too long for the bill. Finally, I stood up and signaled to one of the ladies. I didn't want to wait any longer. I got my coat and walked over to the cash register. I really did not think that a tip was deserved. I would go back to try some other things.“
“Dear Diary - how can you not like kbbq? Is this a place to try? Definitely. They have all you can eat and/or A la carte. If you don't think you can easily go through 'all you can eat', it's ok to A le carte yourself instead; no shame in that. Their brisket and short ribs (bone or boneless) are amazing. I would say this place is a bit more premium, and you definitely pay for it.“
